Took me a while to find the master again. Used to bring my Range Rover to him when he worked for another garage in Malden. He was the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic I had ever come across. Nearly cried when he left and I couldn’t find out where he went. Glad to see he now has his own place. Brought my new Range Rover to him after 2 garages tried to quote me over 5k for work, Arty did it for a fraction of the cost and had it back to me within 24 hours. Couldn’t be happier. He’s still the master!

I called and they were able to get me in right away. As compared to the 2 month wait from the dealership. When I told him the codes that were showing for the check engine light he mentioned a possible cause that he’s seen many times before with my make and model. Within an hour and a half I got a call that my car was fixed. The problem ended up being what he thought it would be. Great fast service and reasonable pricing that you won’t get at a Land Rover dealership.

After not being able to get my Range Rover Sport into a dealership for weeks, I reached out to Arthur's Auto and they took my truck the same day to switch out a gear box. This was my first experience with Arthur’s Auto Repair, and I am so happy that I found them. From the first phone call I placed, to the completion of the service, I was treated with respect, a sensitivity to my issues in terms of the service needed in a certain timeframe, and both Nick and Arthur exceeded my expectations. I called on Tuesday and Monday car was completely repaired on Friday! I had a positive experience throughout, and they made me feel very comfortable and accommodating while waiting for my vehicle. I highly recommend and will be back for any future needs!

TL;DR. Arthur and his crew are the best! My dad is a mechanic on the west coast and I pretty much grew up in his shop and learned a lot. Since moving to the east coast I’ve yet to find a mechanic that takes me seriously and that I trust, so I’ve been doing my own routine maintenance for years. I recently needed some work on my car that I didn’t have the tools to do myself and I just happened to call Arthur’s because it’s close to my house and I could not be more thankful that I did. The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. They encouraged me to come in and that they would be happy to help me out and I took the risk. Once I got there they were waiting with smiles on to greet me. After chatting with Arthur for a few minutes I was sold. He is the stereotype of a tough blue collar man with a heart of gold. He actually listened to what I had to say about my car and was genuinely impressed by my car knowledge rather than the belittling I’ve experienced at other shops. He clearly has a lot of experience being a mechanic and cares deeply about his craft as well as people. His crew makes that even more clear. While Arthur and I looked at my car the crew wiped it down and shined it up for me. They told me all about how they individually ended up in Arthur’s shop and took the time to get to know me as well. This shop reminds me of home and working on cars with my dad. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back. You won’t regret bringing your car here!

I own a 1994 Range Rover Classic and have been looking to find a shop that specializes in these cars. Called this place and they got me in right away. Arthur is definitely one of the most knowledgeable master mechanics I have met. My Range Rover was idling rough and needed a few other things. It was fixed the next day. Car runs beautiful. I highly recommend Arthur’s auto repair shop. And the staff are absolutely amazing.

This is definitely the place to go for Land Rover repairs. Experienced, super friendly and fair prices is key to this establishment success. I'm grateful I found them. Update.. this review might change soon as of Jan 4th. To be determined on a later date till issue is resolved. Update: I noticed that the water pump was leaking 2 days after the repair after the owner came back from his vacation there was a little resistance from him but the new water pump was installed and no leaks are present. I waited in his shop for 5 hours while he pressurized the system which was useless the pump was bad and just needed to be replaced and now it doesn't leak I'm going to leave three stars till the next job I have them do. Overall still a good shop. He replaced my active sway bar bushings and that job was perfectly done.

I brought in my '01 Mercedes to go through a whole list of small repairs on a whim, and I could not have had a better experience. I learned a lot, and multiple problems were repaired. I even got my headlights buffed while we were at it. Will definitely be returning to Arthur's! EDIT: I've now been to Arthur's probably about 10 times for various things, and it's been just as good as the first time. Arthur will fix just about any problem, will teach you something if you want to learn about cars, and best of all, is actually an honest mechanic. He won't try to upsell you on something you don't need; his work is high-quality; and the work is fairly priced for the quality. EDIT: Since then, we bought a vintage 2000 Range Rover that has been maintained by Arthur for much of her life. She just hit 150,000 miles and runs perfectly!

I've been to Arthur's Repair Shop now multiple times, and they always make the visit as convenient as possible. I've had what would be expensive brake and caliper work done, and both times they've charged really reasonably for the parts and service. Considering the quality of work done by the Mechanic Arthur it is definitely worth it. The GM Nakia is also super helpful when it comes to getting scheduled and all communication about the service. The owner Nick is also super helpful, and he makes you feel welcome at the shop if you want to stay while the work is being done. I would absolutely recommend for anyone in the Boston area looking to have work done without getting gouged by a dealership.
