One of the better experiences I've had with a mechanic shop. I got my car back overnight with everything fixed. Pricing was fair as well, so I will definitely be returning.

Nice people, but used cheap incorrect parts. Needed to get their break job redone at the nissan dealership to stop the horrific squealing on all tires. Also, they loosened plastic parts under the hood of my car. They reved the engine, saying it moved too much from a cracked overly thin engine mount. Even pointed to the "crack" and everything😂🤣 I said , " No thanks. I'm broke"! The mounts were 100% ok. Even had dealership double check. BEWARE OF FAKE UP SELLS AND CHEAP PARTS

None of the BS that comes with most auto repair shops. John and Mr. Lee offer great customer service. They're knowledgeable about the work they do. Fair prices. And honest. I don't use any other shop!!!!

I am a used car dealer who purchased two cars from the auction that didn't start. I purchased an Acura RL and a Honda Accord that would not start. I decided to try this business because they advertised that they specialized in Imports. I was charged a diagnostic fee of $120 for each vehicle after they diagnosed that both vehicles had a key issue. It is also unlikely that both cars had the same issue from two different sales. I also knew this was not the case because I have the equipment to program the keys and computers for all Honda and Acura vehicles. I disagreed with the business but had to pay the fee to claim my vehicles. I towed both vehicles directly to the Honda and Acura dealerships. The dealerships both gave the accurate diagnosis for both cars. The Acura Rl didn't start due to a hydrolocked motor and was verified when the oil pan was emptied (water in the engine). The Honda Accord didn't start due to the timing belt being stretched (timing was also off.) and there was also timing belt shavings in the bottom of the area of the belt. I also still have the dealership documentation and pics. So, I paid this company for nothing. You can use them at your own risk. If you are a person who is not mechanically inclined I would not suggest using this business. If you aren't knowledgable it could cost you! I knew better. Please read the posts with 1 star ratings. Those reviews are consistent with my experience.

I will NEVER use Asian American Auto Repair again. For years I had nothing but problems from them but today marks the day I will let EVERYONE know exactly how unethical and unprofessional they really are. Le could care less about his customers and Jon is a deceiving liar. I work hard and take pride in my honest business and I don’t want others to be taken advantage of by them. Buyer beware beware beware! Please consumers do your homework on Asian American Auto Repair before you give them a dime of your hard earned money!

They are the most trusted, skilled and best prices around DFW. My family and I have been using them since we've moved here to TX since 2004. I can't thank Mr Lee enough for his honesty and expertise. I recommend them to everyone!

I went here based on the reviews. I took my car to get the check engine light check. The hours went by and just called to check to see what they figured out. Kim said why you call me? Just checking. He said don't call me again or you come pick up your car! This was the first time to call not the fourth. What a jerk!!! Sick of poor customer service. What the neck has happened to people? Wrong be back there are billions of places to give my money to.

They are very discriminating. They wouldn't even look at my husband's car after they've had it for a day an a half. The son said to my husband we're working on it but we got to it late because we had other cars. Then turned around in the same phone call and said we'll take a look at it in the morning. So which is it your working on it or you'll get to it. They wouldn't listen to a word my husband was trying to tell them about the car. It's a 1990 Honda CRX Si 5spd not original motor. Mr. Lee said to my husband I only work on originals. My husband asked if he ran a diagnostic on the ECU. Mr. Lee said no my machine is too expensive. What was my husband's car going to do to his machine. Nothing. They ran it hot and then said your fan didn't kick on and if they would've LISTENED to him he told them it was hardwired in and it was the blue switch next to the steering wheel. But of course not. An here's the kicker they told him he could drive it home but only while they had the idle up so high it sounded like the motor was about to explode. Well he didn't make it all the way home before it died and he had to push it home. So I would have to say that they aren't truthful or nice at all. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The engine could've blown up while he was driving because of what they did.

Took my sons 350Z in for an overheating issue... Their “expert” technician, Jon.. He insisted that the motor had a blown head gasket.. they wanted to change entire engine for $3,000! Highly doubtful I picked it up the next day. Took to another shop and the car only needed a water pump! The engine is fine and didn’t have a blown head gasket! Long story short.... Asian American & import likes to do really expensive, unnecessary repairs!! This place cannot be trusted!

Had a car with an intermittent problem, Moritz Kia in Alliance did nothing but take my money then dodge my calls when they didn't fix it. This shop actually tried to figure out what was wrong with it instead of blowing me off. They take customer service seriously and don't try to fix what isn't broken.

Took my 350z to get my clutch master cylinder replaced. I had a sticky clutch pedal and they got the job done sooner than expected. Now the pedal feels brand new. Really appreciate the honest opinions and work. Great auto shop.

I highly recommend Asian American Import Specialist! I have had my Honda Odyssey serviced several times, over the past three years, and Mr Lee always does top notch work for a very decent price. With my last service, the Odyssey seemed to be running rough and the steering vibrated. Mr Lee diagnosed the problem as worn engine mounts and replaced them for a very reasonable price. Now the car drives like a brand new car again! Also, my air conditioner compressor went out in my Infiniti, and Mr Lee replaced it for a VERY reasonable price. It, now, works like it did when it was new. We are extremely happy with Mr Lee's work. He always provides excellent service and customer service!

Amazing customer service & exceptionally kind staff! They gave me in-depth details as to what was wrong/needed to be done/truth in outcome (which is rare in car service but I definitely appreciated their straight honesty!) anyway, my car was fixed & running smoothly again within the same day! (Also recommended my family to bring their cars in too and nothing but satisfaction from all!)

John is the best! Him and his father have been taking care of me for over 10 years with multiple cars. I just took my wife's car in for a tune-up, and he told me the computer didn't find anything. No Charge. Completely honest mechanic shop.

Family owned business with a great group of guys who know what they’re doing. I always feel taken care of when I bring my car in. They get the job done right the first time and at a fair price. I live in Arlington but will drive to Fort Worth just so Mr. Lee (and now his son John) can service my car for me. Thanks for all the good work!

OMG very happy with the service provided by this mechanic shop have used the shop three times from putting in a new engine to just basic repair. Have been happy each time I drive 40 minutes to bring my vehicles to this particular shop. Would recommend this mechanic shops to friends and family. They are always friendly fast accurate reasonably priced just can't say enough nice things. They go out of their way to diagnose and find the actual problem they don't just replace parts. Great repair shop.

Was reconmended by someone on reddit because i had some problems with my 2017 Lancer. Met John (Son of Mr Lee) nice guy. No issues, no problems. Asked for a estimate, he gave a pretty reasonable one. I will update if anything bad happens when I do get it fixed
