First and foremost I'd like to thank Asian Auto Clinic for their amazing team! They have taken care of my car's needs for over 10 years! My first car was my Honda Civic and their mechanics have taken care of my car every single time I've come in. I thank Fred for his knowledge about cars and making sure that the customers' needs are met. I thank his mechanic, Chuy also for his dedication to the shop and making sure all the cars coming into the shop are taken care of! Their shop has many loyal customers and there is a reason to it! I've been going here with my mom way before I even started driving, so I am very thankful to have been grandfathered into this location for my car needs. Fred and Chuy are wonderful mechanics who solely care for you and your car needs. They do not try to sell you or add anything that you do not need. What I absolutely appreciate is when Fred gives a FYI and head-ups that in the near future that he can foresee from just looking at your vehicle that you are going to for instance, need a new set of tires because they are wearing out. Genuine care for the person and the car makes this place at the TOP and the only one on my list for car repair or maintenance. Also see my review in Yelp =)

I'll highly recommend Asian Auto Clinic to everyone. Several weeks ago I smelt exhaust inside my car (2013 Nissan Altima) so I drove to a auto shop for diagnosing. The guy at that shop said it was manifold leak and the estimate cost to fix it was over $1200. I then went to Fred's Asian Auto for a second opinion. I am so HAPPY that I found him. Since I basically know nothing about the car, he not only explained the whole problem to me, but also provided two methods for me to consider. Two days later, I got my car. The problem was fully fixed, and it only cost less than half of the price I originally thought. What' more is that Fred helped me to fix the scratches on my car for nearly FREE and changed the wind shields. It was a amazing experience and I would definitely continue using their services in the future.

Trying to find a mechanic that cares about your car as much as you do, is almost impossible. I got lucky. My Lexus sc430 needed an oil change, and to check my front suspension after I hit a pot hole, started pulling to the left hard, I thought I broke something, Fred put my baby up on the rack, and showed me that it was just out of alignment, he doesn't do alignments, but he took it over to the alignment shop himself, and had it done for me. I'm totally impressed with the service, and honestly, and care with my car. Thank you Fred and Asian Auto Repair Clinic, I finally found a mechanic that cares.

This Has Been the Best Place to get our Cars Serviced over 26 years. I have had No hesitation telling my many friends and family how professional, skilled and HONEST Fred has been thru the years. He even told a new customer/friend of mine that a service the shop she had been taking it to since it had been purchased, appeared to have already done the recommended service. This Save her $800, since it had already been changed from her records of past repairs. Fred and his assistance Won't tell you something needs to be done, unless it should be, to keep your car running and family safe. The thought some day he might retire, is going to be a sad day for us, who depend on Fred.

I contacted Fred through the internet to check out a classic 1978 Datsun 280Z that I was looking to purchase. It was not possible for me to get the vehicle to the Asian Auto Clinic. Fred went to the lot the next day to see and drive the car and gave me a positive review so I bought it. Fred was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and offered fair pricing for his services. If I lived in the Santa Clara I would definitely have Fred service all three of my Japanese cars.

As you can see with all the other GREAT reviews, Fred is an exception in the world of mechanics. He's an honest mechanic who only fixes what needs fixing, and does not try to sell you other services or make up problems with your car like many other places seem to do. Prices are reasonable too! I also have been a long time customer, approx. 20 years now. Even though I have changed cars a few times, I continue to come back to make sure my current vehicle is well taken care of by them. I have also recommend them to my friends, I would not hesitate in recommending these guys to anyone. Their name may have been changed, but they are the same team, same great service.. I had a Nissan 300ZX for almost 20 years and I always brought my car for scheduled maintenance to Fred’s shop. He provided excellent high quality service and proved his excellent workmanship for all those years I owned it. The car had 275,000 miles on it after we moved and the water pump broke, minor repair but then I got a new car. My mom and family now go to him and thanks me because his prices are reasonable and he is very honest. Thank you Fred for servicing my car!!!

I have a 93 Supra and I don't trust a lot of shops to work on it, and a lot of shops won't work on it because of the age. Fred and Art were really delightful to work with, and did a fantastic job, allowing me to bring in hard-to-find parts. I would recommend this shop for Japanese cars.

Got my transmission oil replaced on my Toyota Camry at Asian Auto Clinic. I tried getting it done at Toyota dealer, but they were real hesitant to do it. They kept telling me that the transmission was sealed and the oil didn't need to be changed. The transmission fluid does need to be changed at least every 60,000 miles regardless. Asian Auto Clinic did it without any excuses.

Great value, honest service! I found Asian Auto Clinic through Perplexity while researching the 60k service cost for my Subaru. The Yelp reviews looked great, so I gave them a try—and I’m glad I did. The staff was super detailed over the phone, breaking down every service item and even explaining cost differences for cash vs. credit card. Compared to the dealership, the pricing was much more reasonable and transparent. No loaner or pickup service, but they finished everything the same day. Definitely worth it for the speed and savings!
