We took our bmw to ABS company to have it fixed after my wife got side swiped and a friend of mine recommended them. After almost a month we went to pick up the car and as soon as we got it I looked around to see how they fixed it and i noticed right away that they didn't install the fender and the front bumper back on the car properly there was a lot of gaps, i told them about it so we had to wait another hour to get it back in the shop and fix it. After getting it back i noticed there were other small things like some of the trims and fender screws missing and some swirls on the paint where they repainted it and over buffed it. The latest issues we have found a few years later because my wife never used it was the fact that their have broke the wire harness to the fog light that was in the number. Very disappointed and i know they are a good company and do a good job but i feel like with us they messed up pretty badly fixing a 40k car.

Auto Body Specialists are great! This is the second time we've had to use them to repair damage to our vehicle. Each time they made the process very easy, continually updated us on the status and worked seamlessly with our insurance company to make sure we had nothing to deal with other than pay our deductible! Everyone is very professional, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend them.

My 2016 Toyota Rav 4 was rear ended and I chose this shop due to rave reviews from the owner of the company I work for and her parents. They normally bring higher end vehicles in, so I was a little skeptical. However, right from the beginning, everyone at ABS was nothing short of professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I mainly worked with Julie and Bob Futrell but everyone I met was top notch. I trusted them 100% and they didn't try to sell me on anything extra. I damaged my car myself earlier this year by backing into my garage and Bob called asking if I wanted to add paint to that and when I said no, that's okay there was no push which I appreciated. My car feels brand new again! I will recommend them to all my family and friends.

I was unable to bring my vehicle in during operating hours so I was told to bring in the car and drop off the keys and they would take a look at it later and give me an estimate. Well apparently the work that I need done doesn't cost enough for them to prioritize so they gave me a 2 month time frame to get my vehicle fixed. Other places I talk to can get the work done in a couple of days. It is September and they told me the earliest they would be able to get my body work done would be November. Apparently my body work won't generate enough profit to have it completed in a timely manner, so I'm told to find someone else to do it or wait months. This is something that could & should have been expressed to me before I dropped my car off 25 minutes away from my house.

They were extremely rude and disrespectful in 2014; I was told those ppl are gone, but look at what they want to re-repair! You cannot repair rust it will come back. Beware; as Napleton Auto recommended them too so did State Farm; so there you have it!

I am so glad for this place. They have been in business for a long time and it’s obvious as to why. The staff is friendly and efficient and can answer questions on your car. One of the estimators, Bob, is always friendly and they just get the job done right. I don’t worry about the outcome when I come here. Would definitely recommend.

The folks at Auto Body Specialists were very helpful in repairing my vehicle and making the most of my experience. In addition to meeting a very friendly staff I found myself in a warm (literally and figuratively it was -20 outside, but their office was warm!) environment that was very inviting. Phil was sincere regarding the cost/estimate and did not attempt to conceal anything from me. He even put me in touch with some car rental folks so I had something to drive. It’s not often that I encounter this level of attention to detail concerning the public relations dynamic during the course of business. Some shops I’ve used in the past have just wanted to do the work and get me out the door. These professionals were more interested in building a positive relationship with me, and that is something I will never forget. It was a pleasure working with Todd, Phil, and Drew. They were able to order the parts I needed and install them in less than three days. My car looked brand new when I picked it up. In addition to being repaired and painted, it was completely detailed. Even more surprising was that all this was done under the initial estimate I was given. I will be using Auto Body Specialists again in the future; because I’m convinced they are the best in Rockford if not Northern Illinois in terms of talent and fostering an environment where people feel welcome.

If I could give these guys more stars, I would! Without getting into too much detail, I was having a unique problem with my truck. Whenever it would rain I'd get a prodigious amount of water on the floor on the passenger side. I dismantled that side of my trucks interior looking for the ingress with no luck. A friend recommended ABS so I thought I'd give them a try. I couldn't have made a better decision for this! I dropped it off in the morning around 8:15AM, and I got a call at 2PM that they were done and had the issue resolved. I immediately went to pick it up. Not only had they found and fixed the problem (drain tube separated from moon roof) they also completely reassembled everything I had taken apart and washed it! And, the cost was very fair!! I can't recommend these folks enough - friendly, competent, and fair!!

ABS was recommended to me by Farmers insurance agent, after my Brenda new car with 60 miles on it was hit in Target parking lot. They did awesome job with repairs and fought with the insurance from the party at fault to use all brand new Toyota parts, despite the insurance covering only after market parts. Paint job was perfectly matched and done on a metallic color. That was the first time! Second time I had frontal bad damage due to a driver turning left in front me, where collision was unavoidable. They did again awesome job on the car, and ware patient enough while I was dealing with insurance trying to declare my car as total loss, by underestimating the value of my low milage excellent condition car. That time ABS had to use an after market part, but with life long warranty. The part unfortunately was bad, and caused dysfunction in the AC cystem. ABS used that life time warranty and replaced the part few years later, without any charge to me for labor or any parts. Part replacement was done in a day where I did not have to use rental car or wait for days or weeks on the repair. ABS did again awesome job with all repairs! Third time, a teenage driver rare ended my car, and the repair went smooth, all perfectly repaird, again awesome paint job on that metallic color! Yesterday night, my girl hit a 🦌 :( ABS is getting the car on Monday for 4th time, since I trust them so much with all their work, awesome customer service, high respect for me despite my accent and sometimes challenging verbal communication. They are just an awesome place where quality car repair is their standard, and any issues are fully addressed and resolved to customer satisfaction! They deserve 10 ⭐️ rating!

I walked into auto body specialist today thinking that I was going to need to get my car door repainted. I asked to speak to Phil whom I was referred to and he got me in right away to get a quote. After looking at the scratch on my door he suggested we try buffing it out, He said if I wasn’t happy with the buff we would get to the quote for repainting the door. TYZN buffed out my car door at that point I could still see just a faint scratch so he took it back in and buffed it some more. My car looks brand new and Phil and TYZN saved me a lot of money that I expected to have to pay today. It is extremely refreshing to find a business that is so honest with its customers! I am extremely happy that I was referred to auto body specialist and I wish that I could give more than a five star review. Thank you so much Phil and TYXN! I promise to be back in the future. I took my truck here to have the hail damage repaired from the most recent storm. The staff was friendly and helped me understand the repair process from start to finish. My mom recently used auto body specialists for her Cadillac that was scratched up by my cousin with a toy car. I bought a brand new vehicle that was hit in my driveway less than 2 months after I purchased it. I told my mom and she insisted Auto Body Specialists were the best. I set up my appointment, they looked at my car and sent out a quote to insurance immediately. They called me to schedule a time to get my car in quickly, and told me it would be about 3 weeks of repair. To my surprise, they were done with my car in 9 days and called me on December 30th so I could pick it up before the holiday. I couldn’t believe it. I think they did an incredible job, my car looks as good as new and they also wiped down my interior. Awesome job Auto Body Specialists. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone I can about you guys!!!

I had a pretty bad rear fender bender where the support beam was sticking out of the bumper. Auto Body Specialists took great care of my car and now the rear of my car looks good as new. You can tell the level of detail that went into fixing/replacing parts and the paint was done really well where it blended in with the rest of the paint. I had aftermarket tail lights on my car that got damaged and the owner went above and beyond in purchasing new aftermarket tail lights that matched what was on the car previously. They could of put OEM tail lights and call it a day but they went a step further and I was very surprised. The staff went above and beyond to help me from start to finish. I had a ton of questions as this was my first accident and they even helped me deal with the stingy insurance company and how to deal with their ridiculous demands. They even made the car rental process easy too by having Enterprise meet me at the shop and took care of the rental car drop off process by allowing me to drop the car at the shop while they coordinated the pick up with Enterprise. I am very happy overall with how well everything went! I will definitely recommend this shop to others if they need auto body work!
