My car wouldn't start at a local diner in Logan. It was just the cherry on top of a crappy day. It just so happened that the owner of this shop was eating at the same place I was and offered to assist me. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He didn't talk up his shop, he didn't ask me for any money. He just jump started my car and told me exactly what I needed to do to solve the problem. Anyone who is willing to do that for me is outstanding, and while I still haven't been to his shop, he has my business whenever I have issues with my car.

Without getting into to much detail, they are just honest to an extreme. I just moved back to Utah and we didn't know any good mechanics so this was a leap of faith. We just bought a used car and took it to him for a precieved problem. An hour later he called and said nothing was wrong. You read that right... Nothing. I have never had that happen at a mechanic! At a minimum I've had something fixed that didn't need it. At max, I've had them fix something that didn't need fixing and then try to scare you into fixing (upsell) a lot of other things. Strong work Mike. We will be back.

Very happy I went with these guys, they did a great job at communicating and being upfront and honest about everything. This is the kind of place you can put your mind at ease and know that you're being taken care of. I definitely plan on bringing any future car problems to these guys!

Most honest and straight forward mechanic in cache county that I have ever had the privilege of working with! Highly recommend to everyone. I have my share of experience working on vehicles and can usually tell when people are trying to rip me off. Unfortunately a lot of mechanics in the valley are awful at giving anyone a fair price. This guy is the real deal. Great, honest guy and I'm happy that I finally found a mechanic that I can come to. Replaced my ignition coil in my RAV4 and didn't charge me anything to plug in the computer. Most mechanics around here want to charge you $50 - $80 for simply plugging in the computer.

I dropped off my car to get a oxygen sensor check engine light figured out (I had already changed the O2 sensor and the light kept coming back). Mike is great and both times I called he was really great on the phone and happy to talk about what the problem could be and knew what he was talking about. It was nice to get to talk to him instead of some front office person who doesn’t know much about cars. Doug worked on my car and tested the wiring and gave me a diagnosis really quickly. I wasn’t able to drop of my car in the morning as planned since I was stuck at work, and they were very understanding when I called and told them I wouldn’t be able to drop it off till late afternoon. Work was still done by the evening and Doug even stayed late so that I could pick my car up. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are honest people and charge fair prices.

Best place to go for good, fair, and honest car work. Mike is the most honest person I know and you will never have to second guess what you are told. They not only offer veteran and active service discounts, they are local and active in the community. Just read other reviews also, Honest mechanics are hard to find but you don't have to keep looking after coming here!

Definitely the best shop I've been to in town. These guys stayed late after business hours to get me my car back same day. They even found an issue related to the work they were already doing. Great work for a fair price, very informative, and amazing customer service. 11/10 would recommend to family, a friend, and coworker.

Mike does great work and one of the only places in the valley that will do machine work on an engine. He has a fast turn around and was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommend if you need some repairs done!

I have never met a more honest and upfront mechanic than Mike. I have taken my Nissan Maxima to him three times now and have never been treated more fairly! He prices his services just right and takes care of his customers. My dad even had his car driven down from Boise to get Mikes opinion on an AC issue. Auto Evolution is one of a kind!

The Owner, Mike, is the Lead mechanic and does great work. For as small as his shop is, he can do just about everything you need from mild services, to in depth machine work. I gave him some Cylinder heads, and they came back exactly how I requested for a reasonable price. A decent mechanic is very hard to find. I've been screwed over by the biggest shops in Town. Especially when you know what to look for when checking for mistakes. Most people wouldn't know if they're being screwed over, but I feel safe sending family and Friends to Mike at Auto Evolution.

Thus place is amazing! We took our truck there Wednesday night and by Thursday morning he was telling us what was wrong and that he could fix it then. By Friday morning we were able to get our truck back and ever since it has not had the issues it had before. Also they are so honest and have good prices. They fixed our whole starter for only $500 AND he found some other things we could fix and he let us know about them and said he could fix them or we could wait so that was amazing. They for sure just got a life long customer!

I took in my 76 f150 ford a engine rebuild and clutch work i was very happy with the job that Mike did with the rebuild he was very fair on price and the rebuild turned out Great. The build took a little longer than i expected but i could care less about that where the build mike did was satisfactory. Highly recommend and will return five stars all day long

After having Auto evolution rebuild my motor in my ford f-150 ecoboost at about 90,000 miles on the truck, I have now had to do a complete rebuild at 117,000 because he didn’t do it right. First the motor blew out some o-rings that he fixed no questions asked. Second the timing chain broke while it was under warranty. He called and tried to tell me that my warranty was up but he was going to take care of me if I would pay for labor. I laughed and let him know that I knew that I was under my two years and under the 24,000 miles. It took me driving down there to take a picture of my odometer for him to backtrack on this and agree that he was wrong and I was still within my warranty. After things calmed down I left. Only to get a phone call from him telling me that because I had a standard Napa oil filter on there and they are the ones he says he uses that I now need to show him all of my receipts for all of the oil filter and oil I used in it. Which honestly had he not been a liar about the warranty from the get go wouldn’t have bothered me. (Side note I did do my 500 mile oil change with Auto evolution). Finally to get the ball rolling because I need a vehicle I agree to pay for labor. So about $1500 for a vehicle that should be under warranty. So at this point I pay for the fix and tell myself that I just won’t go to him ever again. Third after about another 1000 miles the timing chain breaks again! So I decide to take it to a different mechanic because I refuse to let him touch it ever again. This mechanic finds that when he did the new timing chain that he did it wrong. He never pushed the timing chain tensioners in after pulling the pins. (pushing them in makes them pop out all the way and puts tension on the chain). There are two of these tensioners. One of them my new mechanic popped up after pulling it apart the second he waited until I got there and videoed it for proof. After further inspection the new mechanic found o-rings in my oil pick up tube along with more plastic than we lost when the timing chain went out the second time. So both times he did work for the warranty and the partial warranty he never took it apart to clean all the debris out!!! So after asking him to make It right today and showing him the video he still claims he did it right!!! So I talked to a lawyer and and we are looking into which route to take. My lawyer is also looking into possible fraud because I am pretty sure he claimed warranty on the parts for the timing chain but claim with me it was my fault. I will try to post the pictures and video if it will let me. Absolutely would never recommend this guy to anyone! The picture is my motor at the new mechanics shop before we pressed the tensioner to extended it. I have the video but it won’t let me post it on here. I will be posting it on Facebook and every other social media platform so people know not to trust this place!!! Also wanted to point out how clean and nice the motor looks because I did change my oil plenty of times!

Bad. Bad attitude = you don't deserve my time. The man will argue and repeat himself endlessly to archive what? To lose a potential customer? Not to earn? Foolish, but there is plenty of his likes in the valley. Who cares. Let them go out of business, they won't be missed. EDIT on 12/03 (responding to false claims by business owner): I had no need to respond to this - but I will now. First - there were never 2 appointments. Two - the one and only appointment that was set, you failed to record properly and once I agreed to bring a car in 2 hours later at 3.30 instead of 1.30 to "meet your schedule" on Wednesday you started to tell me that you might not be able to look at it that week at all, since I am late 2 hours into your shop (which I wasn't late to since I was originally scheduled at 3.30). A MONTH IN ADVANCE. Pardon me but this is, ridiculous. Not only you failed to make a courtesy call to the customer entire month, to avoid this sort of confusion, but you never bothered to check with me why I didn't show to my ONLY SINGLE scheduled appointment. If you value customers, or know anything about customer service - you should probably understand a simple, yet effective concept. You EARN your customers - and if they like you enough, they might actually return and even recommend you.
