Been to Ethan’s a few times over the last 4 years and always had friendly service. Felt like he was always giving me the best price. Fairly quick turn around. Just had to get my AC compressor fixed and called an hour and a half before they closed and said I needed my car by the morning. They got it done and Kimmy said she would stay late so I could come get my car in time. Nothing but good things to say about Ethan’s and Kimmy for her service. Wont ever go anywhere else for my car.

I had a problem with my battery light on and bad idling, so my friends changed both the battery and the alternator and there was no improvement. Took it to Ethan here and he knew exactly what was wrong, cleaned the parts causing me problems for FREE, all under 30 minutes. Bless this man. Would go here for everything in the future. Screw everywhere else haha.

Worked with Ethan directly. I was in a real pickle with a major rear end repair needed on my older F-150. Ethan went above and beyond to help me and get me on my way. What a great shop! All that (and considering the extent of the work being done) an honest price. This shop lives up to its name. Highly recommend Ethan and his team, just downright good people.

Woulda gave them a zero star but wouldn’t allow me. My mom is a single mother and the breaks in her car were bad we had told them they were bad. The radiator was also bad. We took it in they later called my mom and said it was 800 to fix the breaks which is outrageous. They aren’t honest they seen a single mother and tried to rip her off. They quoted her for 600 on the radiator which is also absurd in total they wanted 1400 for the front two brakes and radiator and in total 2500 for the additional back brakes. They aren’t honest and they seen a single mother and tried to take advantage of her. We later went and picked the car up and they charged me 60 dollars for a look over when they were told by me the breaks were already needing replacement so I don’t know why I need to pay for that and I also told them about the overheating and possibly the radiator. They aren’t honest outrageous looking to get there money any way. I wouldn’t recommend. I’ve seen this the years I’ve grown up without a father and people trying to rip my mom off I’m fed up with it so I’m warning people to not go to them and stay away!!

I had an experience dealing with Ethan that should tell you all you need to know about him and his business practices. I called Ethan over the phone and asked for help in diagnosing an issue with one of our vehicles. He took the time out of his busy schedule and steered me in the correct direction leading to the correct part replacement, getting my vehicle running properly. I sincerely appreciate the time spend educating me when he could have done otherwise. I tend to try to do my own mechanic work but when I don’t want to or do not posses the skill I take it to Ethan’s. Their repairs have always been professional and done quickly at a fair price. I’ll be a life long customer at Ethan’s Honest Automotive.

This place absolutely sucks. I was told my vehicle would be done on 3 different occasions. my appointment was at 10 am on a Monday. I dropped it off early, and didn’t get a call. So I called the place before they closed to inquire about my vehicle. They said they couldn’t get to it that day, and it would be first thing in the morning Tuesday. Well 3pm on Tuesday rolled around, and I still had not received a call about it. So I called them. They said they had been slammed and hadn’t gotten to it, but that they were going to pull it in right now. I got a partial diagnosis 30 minutes later, but there were some other things they needed to check out, and said they’d get back to me. I expected a call before the end of the day, but didn’t get one. I figured they’d get back to me in the mornings well 11:30 rolls around and I still hadn’t heard of anything, so I called them. Lo and behold, they finally had a diagnonsis, cylinder 1 fuel injector, and they told me it would be done end of day. I needed my truck back to move some large items the next day. Well the end of the day rolls around and I get a call saying they found out that they needed more injectors. And could get to it first thing in the morning. Well, it would appear somebody fat fingered the part number, and ordered the wrong ones…. So no, my truck was not ready on the morning causing extreme inconvenience to me. I finally got a call that afternoon saying it was ready $900 later for 5 fuel injectors and an edge sensor. charged at $99 a piece. Oh also I was told over the phone they’d be $80 each(which still seams excessive considering you can but a pack of 6 for $70 at autozone). I know they need to mark parts up to make money, but damn. After picking up my vehicle, I realized my radio doesn’t work. That had never been a problem! Welp gotta fix that now. I would not recommend this shop, not even to an indecent human being.

Best mechanic I’ve worked with in the valley. My friend recommended and now I’ll be a customer moving forward. They told me what needed to be done and gave me a quote really quick. They also gave me a discount for taking a day or two longer than expected, it ended up being way cheaper than I thought and they made sure I was ready to go for my upcoming road trip. 11/10 SECOND REVIEW: adding a second review. Ethan’s honest is actually amazing. The only Con is they are getting busier from their good service so you might end up scheduling your vehicle service out a bit. But it’s worth the wait. This time I needed my check engine light and some other weird issues fixed. Ethan himself chased the issue for like 2 weeks and gave me my options and was honest. He spent a lot of time on his own working on my lemon of a car. Also the pricing is great for the service. All the staff I’ve worked with are also great. 12/10

Took my Durango all over Logan to get estimates from various shops as well as some in Ogden. Ethan's took my diagnosis from the dealership (extremely over priced parts,labor, and diagnostic) and verified it free of cost prior to repair and double checked everything. They got it in and out in a good amount of time, done great 👌 work, and saved me a very large amount of money compared to other shops in Logan. Some wanted double the price for the pre diagnosed repairs and to charge me again for a current diagnosis on top of that. 1,900 for a couple of seels at most places in Logan. Ethan's blew them all away and stood by their quote. Thank you Ethan's you seriously helped me and my family out and my vehicle. They also take good care of military, vets, etc. You'll always be my go to in Cache County.

Ethan's Honest Automotive was recommend as one of the few places to take my TJ jeep to get it regeared - a labor intensive and somewhat tricky procedure to do it right from my understanding - and boy did Ethan exceed expectations! Jeep runs better then it ever did, Ethan took the time to go through the break-in routine with me and kept me fully updated with both how things were going and the cost, which he kept within a more then fair price range for me. Both Ethan and his entire staff I dealt with were professional and excellent when it came to customer service, I will be taking all my cars to them for repair from now on. Very satisfied and highly recommend them
