Wow what a great experience! I was originally going to try safelite because it’s the only one iI’ve heard about until now. Safelite made it extremely difficult to have questions answered ( literally their automated system kept hanging up on me), so i searched for a different place and found auto glass now! I filled out an online form and within 10 mins got a callback from the sweetest and most helpful lady. She even offered to get my insurance company on the phone for me. In the end I ended up paying cash, and it was a great price (i think). She got me my appointment within a few days. They said it would take 1.5 hours on the phone but when I got there it was done in 30 min. They even called earlier to see if i could come in for my appointment earlier but I unfortunately missed that call. Very nice people. Very fast and the windshield looks amazing! It looks just like the original. I would 100% trust them with my car again. I would recommend them to anyone. It’s no wonder they have high ratings. They truly deserve it.

Very frustrating experience. After my in shop appointment was canceled the day prior because they didn’t have the windshield, they told me they could come to me. They did not tell me that 2 seperate techs would come at 2 seperate times (one for replacement and one for calibration) extending what I was originally told would take 1.5 hours to 4.5 hours. After 4.5 hours, I was told they could not complete the recalibration of my sensors because it was too overcast outside and they needed more sunlight. It’s January in CT, we could be waiting months if that’s the case. I am not available to reschedule for a couple of weeks and don’t feel comfortable driving as much as I do without any of the sensors working but now I don’t have a choice. I just purchased this vehicle 18 days ago, and the warranty company where I purchased the car agreed to replace the windshield at no cost to me and contacted auto glass now on my behalf to schedule. With that being said, I had an issue with them emailing me a receipt halfway through my appointment stating that the recalibration was completed. I asked the tech to correct this and send me a receipt stating the recalibration still needed to be done. I don’t want to run into an issue in a couple weeks where the recalibration can’t be completed or there is some other issue and the warranty company refuses to help because the receipt says it was successfully completed today when it wasn’t. He told me he would have his manager call me and to call them if I didn’t hear back in a few hours. I try to call the shop again prior to them closing for the day and am being told that the call was transferred to someone out of state because the shop wasn’t answering the phone. They said they cannot help me, and that the only person who can is the manager who isn’t replying to calls or emails. While on hold, I go to my car and notice not only a HUGE scratch across my drivers side door that 100% was not there prior but inside my car ALL over the car are dried drops of some kind of black or brown liquid in addition to what looks like plastic shavings? All over the dashboard, steering column, display screen, cup holders, even the center console. My car was SPOTLESS with the exception of ice melt from the snow on the floor mats. The rep I spoke to suggested I go into the shop to speak to the manager since he’s unresponsive. The shop is 45-60 minutes away from me. I ask if I drive there to get this resolved, will they be able to complete the recalibration while I am there so I can be done with this. He says he isn’t sure if they can fit me in, and that the only person who can tell me if they can is the manager. He suggested I call him to find out before heading there…if I could get him on the phone I wouldn’t be going there! Also wanted to add I did some Internet research on the recalibration not working and there is absolutely nothing saying overcast conditions are an issue (too much direct sunlight can cause a glare which is an issue but cloudy is not) so now I am questioning the reason for the issue with not being able to do it as well. Does the tech not know what he’s doing or what he’s talking about? Is there some other problem? Hopefully I get a call from the manager soon as he is apparently the 1 person in the entire company who can help me or answer my questions.

I had an apt scheduled with another company to replace a windshield on a fleet vehicle. They called the morning of and canceled, rescheduled me, then canceled again when that day came. I made an apt with Auto Glass now as I did not want to deal with that other company anymore. And I'm glad I did. They were friendly, fast, and efficient. This was a great experience! $300 cheaper than Payless. Great customer service. The technician called and told me the timeframe that he would be arriving and he arrived exactly on time. Easy process, made an online request for a quote. Received a phone call 30 minutes later and the woman help me arrange an appointment at my local shop. Dropped it off at 8 and was ready by 10.
