Today my husband brought our truck in this morning about issues with our radio. He said he was very pleased with the service and they fixed the issue expeditiously. Thank you for providing caring service for our 2013 Dodge Durango

I came here to get my speakers installed.. cost me $400 for all 4 including labor.. l drove away with new speakers good deal, then the very next day, the same problem l was having before l got new speakers, the sound came right back. Called an spoke to the lady about the problem, she talked to the guy who installed my speakers and he told me it’s my radio, said l needed a new radio, which would cost me another $200. Currently my speakers are doing the same ish is was doing before l got all new speakers, starting to think they made a come up off of me.. never again.!

Shop elsewhere. I purchased a remote start for $179, total with install was $279+ tax. A few months later I purchased a new vehicle. I had remote removed from older vehicle by an independent mechanic in the hopes of reinstalling by Auto Sound in the new vehicle. Called Auto Sound and was told cost to reinstall is $150. What is wrong with this picture? Did they overcharge for the original remote, did I pay $179 when I should have paid $129? Or are they trying to rip me off now? The remote didn't work well anyway, it didn't seem to connect until i was within 20 feet of the vehicle. Shop elsewhere.

Apparently I can't give it zero stars. I had my ignition interlock serviced here and I have already found a new shop to service it going forward. It was negative 20 this morning and my car started up no problem and I drove there. When I got there the owner told me there would be a 25 dollar charge because my battery was dead. There was no way my battery was dead. I had no problem with the battery prior to this and no problem since. I complained to him and told him this was neither accurate nor fair but he didn't seem to care. Even if it was dead, which it wasn't, the normal thing to do would be to say "I'll jump it this time but next time I might have to charge you". He charged me a labor charge to jump a car which didn't have a dead battery! After I got in the vehicle to leave, he walked up to the car, opened the passenger door, poked his head in the car, cursed at me and told me to find someone else to service the vehicle because he didn't need people like me coming there. He did this because I said I would write a review on-line. I felt threatened and disturbed. I had to call Mastercard to dispute the charge and I had to notify Smart Start. They also broke my dash board when installing it. I know a bunch of other people that have had to go here for ignition interlock's and the feedback has been bad, bad, bad. The owner was unprofessional, rude and abrasive. Please heed all the bad reviews on here. Thank god my experience with them is over.

This is the worse experience I had with any place in my entire life. I went in for a radio the sat was not explained to me i said I wanted radio not sat so an extra 100 dollar charge I didnt want. Not to mention I dropped of my car to install a new radio. They did not even call me to ask me how I wanted an adjustable radio installed. Therefore I had to come back to get it adjusted. They still did not call me again and asked me to make sure it is what I wanted. Worst customer service ever!!!!. I would recommend to u take your money ANYWHERE here.

Wanted to add front and rear cameras and upgrade the factory head unit in my vette (2012 Grandsport with the 9-speaker Bose system, which from all the research I did online is not an easy system to integrate to and most people pull the entire system out and start from scratch). Rick went over several options, explained everything and we chose a system. Installation was done very well, everything looked good; the only issue was the interface they used (which the manufacturer claims will integrate seamlessly with my particular car - I researched it myself and the mfg. stated it will work with my car with no issues). After the install, there was no way to adjust the volume down enough on the interface for the door/OEM chimes or the direct line in to the factory amp, thus the system had way too much gain (everything was too loud). I brought it back, they tried another unit to be sure the first unit wasn't defective, had same result. So while the car was there, they took the time to rewire in a completely different interface from a different manufacturer and it worked perfectly. So here is the part that compelled me to write a review: 1) With the internet these days, markups are pretty small - stores know they can't charge high markups because a customer can simply go online and see what the "going rate" is for something (I don't care what line of product a store is selling, that pretty much holds true). I was charged basically the same price for everything that Crutchfield charges, which is about as good as it gets (in other words, there isn't a lot of profit on the parts). 2) This leaves installation as the only other charge. Well, I think I was only charged $250 for install, and if you've ever tried to work on a vette, you will realize how fair that price is. Keep in mind, out of that install fee they have to pay the tech, plus all the wonderful NYS regulatory BS (workers comp, insurances, UI, etc.; I own a business, I am well aware of how much it actually costs to pay an employee in this state). In the end, they have to make a profit or they won't be around. I'm not trying to write a dissertation here, but the truth is, consumers are often completely unaware of the cost of doing business. So when Rick re-did the interface install, and then went ahead and installed a completely different unit (fortunately, he had it in stock), that took time out of their schedule...time he had to pay his tech who could've been doing another job that would've made them money, since he did this all for NO CHARGE. On top of that, he was short-handed the week I came in but knew I was putting the car away soon for the winter so he fit me in so we could get the issue resolved and not have to revisit it in the spring. Bottom line, when you do that and stand behind what you sell, you deserve a good review.

There favorite goto is a bypass module. I heard it three times while I waited over three hours for a alarm installation. I don’t know how these people stay in business. I went from a $149 alarm to $289.65 when they were done with my car. Worked good for six months. Then tried to get it fixed. Got blown off and told to « bring car in and they’ll try and get to it ». No thanks

To be honest, this place does not even deserve a star. Less than a year ago I went in to get a remote car starter installed. As a college student, it was definitely expensive but I thought it would be worth it since sometimes I leave my car and don't back to it anywhere between 6 and 10 hours later. After a few months, the screen started turning black. Also, about 60% of the time, my car wouldn't start. I would walk to the parking lot and the car would be off. My father and I went into the shop to get it checked out since the car starter had a 1 YEAR WARRANTY. The guy at the front desk did not greet us or give us the time of day. When my dad explained the issues, he said you have to buy a new one...even though we had the warranty. He didn't offer help or apologize for the fact that one of their highly esteemed and quality products had failed miserably. I felt uncomfortable in the shop and in the hundreds of places I have gone to, I have NEVER received such terrible customer service. I felt like they just wanted my money and then were done with me. I can undoubtedly say that I will NEVER go back and would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your time....go somewhere else that hires professional and helpful employees.

Stopped in to get a new head unit for a new car didn't know much about what I was looking for also had extra hardware I wanted to have installed. Didn't realize they prefer to install store bought so they can offer their amazing warranty. I couldn't of had a better experience between the products, services, and employees that were provided to me. Went above and beyond to suit my needs and many other customers that came in while I waited. Oh and Beverly sheeeeeeesh! She lucky she married!

Great experience from start to finish. I had subs and an amp installed. They do not try to oversell, pricing is very competitive and after the install I didn't even know they were in my car aside from the great new sound. Very friendly service!

In a completely lawless city where nobody is punished for stealing cars, it's important to defend yourself. After my car was stolen and eventually recovered, I knew I had to do something. So I called Auto Sound Systems and asked if they could install a battery cutoff switch. They said "actually we have something better - a starter motor cutoff switch." They did it for 150 bucks and it took less than an hour. Absolutely phenomenal. Very fast very reasonable very competent. Everyone in my city needs this!

I got my car setup with a subwoofer and tweeters here a few years ago, it was the best money I’ve ever spent. I recently got a new car battery and didn’t know how to reconnect the subwoofer. I stopped by the shop unannounced, they hooked me back up in 5 mins, no charge. Thanks dudes!

If you want very poor communication and no common decency or understanding, this is your place. Call ahead to ask for an appointment only to be told I don’t need one. “Just walk in” then be charged twice the amount “because I had no appointment “. Wow, if that’s not disappointing. What a lack of any sort of humanity. Just deplorable. I would definitely not recommend this shop for ANYTHING. Disappointed, the owner told me I was just trying to hurt his feelings. I said “nope, just really disappointed in you as a human” smh

I stopped in for an install quote and made it clear I already had my own equipment. I understand some shops don’t install customer-supplied parts, but the way it was communicated was unprofessional. I was told, “You don’t go into Burger King with your own burger to get made,” instead of being given a clear, respectful explanation of their policy. The conversation then shifted immediately to trying to sell me a head unit I specifically said I didn’t want, with no mention of factory integration options like a PAC interface. Another shop later took the time to explain all my options without pressure. Customer service and professionalism matter.
