Do not go here. The manager/owner swipped my card three times stating that it did not work on the first attempt. I was double charged. They did not fix the problem. Tje next day I had to return it because it cut off while I was driving on the highway. When I came to pick it up her told me it was fixed and the he needed to replace the battery. I got three blocks away before it cut off. I was overcharged for parts and the never refunded me the money for the double charge. DO NOT COME HERE.

Had to make a last minute trip to New York but I knew something was seriously wrong with my car. Called at 7:30 a.m. to get the car checked, was told I need new breaks and rotors and my car was unsafe to drive. They had me out in 3 hours and the price was incredible. This will now be my new mechanic shop. Amazing service job!

The best mechanic in the DMV!! I’m convinced they’re the only reason my 2005 Jeep is still running. They are kind, explain things I don’t understand, and offer multiple options at different price ranges with recommendations that usually aren’t the most expensive option. They’ve worked with both me and my partner to problem solve and went out of their way to help by ordering him a suspension set from reputable used parts sellers instead of buying one new so we could afford to fix it. I’ve never felt pressured by anyone there and they usually turn your car around in less than 24 hours. I could sing their praises all day long!!

Been coming to them for a couple of years. Always easy to work with. They are a family run business who are not looking to rip you off. They moved to the Trinidad/Ivy City area recently and now have a huge nicely appointed waiting room with Krups coffee, TV AC and WiFi. New location also has 3 bays so they can move you along faster. I can’t recommend them enough!

My check engine light was on, so they ran the diagnostic and found a minor issue with gas cap that they just fixed in the moment for no charge. It was kind and indicative of the kind of shop that I will definitely use in the future. Thanks again! Edit: I went back a second tjme for a different issue, and the team was just as kind and helpful. They were willing to listen to my ideas from internet searching, test a few theories out, and then determine a best next step. From now on, this is my go to automotive shop in DC! 🌟

Great auto shop. Doesn’t waste your time OR money. I’ve been here for oil changes and other major services. They will always charge you for what you NEED and provide you the best services and rates. First time here and I have to give them 5 stars for great service. Went in thinking I needed to replace all four brakes and they said I really only needed two done at that time. I got a quote from another mechanic for the same service and it was 50 percent higher than Auto tech. I also had other general maintenance done by Auto Tech. Will come back to them again. P.S. They also put my license place back on, which I totally forgot about. Great service!

These guys are making me believe that honest mechanics exist!! I had a dealer nightmare!! Safford in Springfield to be exact. I have only scorn for them. I was close to getting rid of my Abarth when by chance I called Auto Tech. The call did not make me feel better about my car, but it did make me feel like i was talking with honest people. They gave me worst case scenario, but after taking it to them it was the best case, which meant a running car! My Abarth has been running better than ever since my visit there. They switched out my shifter cable and took apart my shifter and regreased. Regreasing was something that the dealer should have done when i took it to them to change out the clutch at $5k! They should have noticed it didnt drive well and addressed it. Even if it cost me a little more money at the time, it would have saved me soooo many headaches and more money than waiting to address a time bomb. Auto Tech Services is my new mechanic and so close for me here in DC. Im so glad I went there!! I cant wait for regular scheduled maintenance time comes to go back there again! Thank you Auto Tech!!!!!!!!!
