For the love of God. Get some people who know something about cars. She actually told me there is no one there who's touched a car's brake line before. What, exactly, are you doing in the parts business?! Not selling parts, you're gonna pay more in returns because your workers know nothing. How is this a viable business location? Do better. You can hire people with more knowledge than that sad excuse for customer service.

Darlene Davis the store manager of the Vandyke location was very helpful with me the other day she realized I picked a wrong windshield wiper and exchanged it for me and then installed said wipers! She also help me fix a previous problem with me windshield wiper fluid wasn't working because it wasn't plugged in the right way. She was very helpful any kind I will be coming back because of her

Called ahead to get parts pulled and told the Mouthy Chris wearing the red shirt I would be there by 1pm to grab the parts. I asked if he could pull them and he got an attitude and said he would see if a driver could pull them. I said if you can't tell me they will be ready I'm not coming and he said he would see of he could get them pulled. I walk in just before 1pm today (6/8/24) and 3 people were standing at the counter. I said tie rods? They pointed at Chris. He has a softy voice like a child or female so it sounded like he said he didn't pull them.... I said I told you if they weren't ready I didnt have time to wait as I turned to walk to the door... he puffed his bird chest and tried to get tuff and said that he did pull them but he wasn't selling them to me. I exchanged words with the little guy and called Autozone to have them delivered. It doesn't hurt my feelings to spend my money elsewhere. Your location just lost a $200 sale today and a lot more in the near future. As dead as this location always looks (Sterling Heights)I'm not sure they can afford to keep losing customers.

Usually, when I shop at this location, it's a good experience. However, today 12/23/23, not so much. I went in this morning to purchase a back wiper blade for my car. I asked the gentleman working if he would put it on for me and he said he would. We went to my car and noticed I needed the arm too. He ordered it from another store and within an hour, the part was in. When I arrived at the store, there was a different person working. I asked if he could put in on for me and he said he didn't know what it "entailed" and "we don't do that." There weren't any customers in the store at the time. Well, this is the fourth wiper arm/blade that I've purchased within a year and the salesperson has always put it on for me. A young lady works there on Sundays and she's done it for me and it took less than three minutes. The salesperson today also said he had a tooth pulled that morning so maybe he didn't feel like it and it would have been better had he said that. I will go to another PepBoys, show my receipt and have my wiper arm installed.

I purchased blades and March I believe they were raynex was not informed of a warranty of for them find out now it was only 90 days and I've been ripped off. They began scratching my windows of course one month after the 90 days.. Whatever you do do not do business with this company I will never buy from them again!!!!

I called all of the popular auto stores on Friday evening and then on Saturday morning looking everywhere for rear bushings for my 2006 Toyota 4runner no one had them in stock and the soonest they could get them to me was in 4 days, I was so disappointed, then I decided to try one more time to locate a auto parts store that I havent called and came across Auto Value on Van Dyke in Sterling Hts inside of PepBoys I called them and dealt with Jakob he was able to locate the bushings and with the store manager Darlene's help they said they could have them brought to their store within 2 hours, and in less than 2 hours I had them in my hand and my I was able to have my mechanic fix my 4Runner that very same day, a BIG "Thank You"!!! to AUTO VALUE for making that possible when no other store could. Auto Value is my new go to store and will be my first call from now on.
