I'd never taken my car to AutoCraft before (I live in SW) but I was desperate for immediate attention toward my 2001 Ford while I was at work, near their shop. AutoCraft took my car in right away, and after a quick diagnosis and repair, I was back on the road less than two hours later, for a VERY reasonable price. Took my 96 4Runner to Jesse and his crew. This was the best mechanic experience I've had to date. They did an excellent job diagnosing the issue, explaining it to me, then fixing it. These guys are awesome. I have been to many shops in Portland and this is my favorite. Quality service at a reasonable price. Very quick responses. Straight forward and direct. Took my 94 Bronco here for a new oil pump- big job, had it done in 3 days. Great at fixing electrical issues as well.

Best garage I’ve ever been to. Really nice and knowledgeable staff and ownership. They make an effort to be completely transparent and will call you with every new finding to explain it to you and give you the choice to authorize before starting any work. They don’t tack on any unnecessary work, and keep you in the loop so no unexpected charges or issues. Also turn around the work EXTREMELY quickly. For me it was less than a day with me dropping in with no advanced notice. They did a good job on my ‘98 Jeep and I will definitely be coming back for anything I need done on the vehicle. Location is also very convenient.

I was referred to Autocraft NW by a friend when I said I was looking for an honest, good mechanic. Boy did Autocraft NW overdeliver. They're efficient, to the point, and really care about getting people back on the road and being safe. My car has had some issues lately, and each time they've assessed the problem, done their best get me the best deal, and their work is exemplary. I think we're all wary of going to mechanics sometimes, especially new ones. We're looking for someone how is going to be trustworthy, not cut corners, and get us back out there. Autocraft NW is going to be my mechanic from here on out. They're just that good, and friendly, and I cannot recommend them enough. Anyone who lives in North Portland like me I'm sending their way. These guys are awesome! Very fair and quick. They do great work, will be back. Update: in addition to fixing my cars, they’ve now done 3 pre-purchase inspections for me on prospective car purchases. This team is so incredible thorough, they have saved me a ton of money in future repair costs by helping me to avoid lemons. I literally will not take a car anywhere else. Highly recommend a PPI from Autocraft before purchasing any vehicle.

Jesse and the guys @ AutoCraft NW installed a Rousch Fox shocks leveling kit and a rear 1” shackle lift to prep my truck for winter driving. We had an initial hiccup because the factory sent the wrong part, but Jesse went out of his way to get my truck back together quickly and back to me, so that I could get back and forth to work.
