I can't say enough good things about Automatic Motors. Excellent service. They do what they promised, on time, and for the price they quoted. That shouldn't be rare in business, but it is. Most importantly, they stand behind their work! Tom and the crew bent over backwards to take care of me and get my vehicle back on the road. Thanks for doing the right thing instead of the easy thing!

Just had the transmission on my '11 F150 rebuilt and was quoted an amount. When it was finished, the amount was changed but as soon as I questioned it, the gentleman behind the counter stood behind the quoted price, no questions asked. I'd definitely bring them another vehicle.

Worst customer service experience I've ever had! Made appointment months in advance for routine trans service, dropped off my vehicle the day before service was scheduled, guy took my keys and brought it inside, said he would call when completed...no one ever called, and after I called them a couple times in the afternoon(I took a day of vacation to get this done) no update. So I went there at the end of the day to see what was happening, right then I was informed nothing was done, and the woman that was there handed my keys back to me and said "GOOD LUCK" Would never go back, and would never recommend!!

The guys here at Automatic motors are the real deal. They’re honest and will be up front with anyone at the start. They will check your vehicle for free and let you know what they think, try that anywhere else! They’re busy so expect for your vehicle to be there a few days but they are worth the wait. No one is perfect but this business is one of the best!

Automatic Motors went above and beyond! I couldn't recommend a more knowledgeable place! I was having problems at Broadway because there wasn't a dash l ight on and they didn't want to professionally assist me and trouble shoot my transmission problem and I was willing to pay for it. Automatic motors happily assisted in looking at my truck, trying to get it to act up, did some research and performed a re-flash on the transmission module as a recommendation. They happily assisted to help me try and solve a problem that wasn't easily diagnosed. I followed their recommendation and problem fixed! That's all I wanted from the dealer with some out of the box thinking, research and problem solving and they wouldn't do it. Automatic Motors exceeded my expectations and I will be back for sure! I highly recommend!

Had my vehicle towed in, called to let them know what happened and they told me they would get it in right away and get back to me. I waited 3 days then called to see what was going on. Then told it might get on a lift the following week. Had to call again that day to see if they figured it out and it needed a new transmission. Was never told what was wrong with the old one. Was finally told what was wrong with it. I oked the work the following day and they told me they could get it done in 9 days to be ready for my camping trip. I called the day prior to confirm and they told me I had never called them to ok the work. Ended up having to adjust my whole vacation due to not having the truck back. They told me it would be 2 to 3 business days to get done. Called 2 days, was told another day yet, called and told they just got another part and I would have to wait. Then they finally called me to tell me it wouldn't be ready to get picked up which caused a birthday to be missed. They told me they would call with an update the following morning. I had to call them again and was told "oh yeah, it's been ready" I was paying over the phone and having another person pick up. They wanted to take my card number and run it without giving me a total. Ended up paying over $100 more than I was quoted because they didn't quote shop fee or trans fluid. I was lucky enough to have the money in my account. I finally got the truck back and the shifter selector didn't work properly so I had to bring it back to get it fixed.

The BEST transmission shop in all of Green Bay. The guys here will treat you fairly, courteously, and make sure you are happy. They will give you a free estimate, and more than once they have told me the fix was a cheaper, do-it-yourself part, rather than waste my time and money with misleading diagnostics. I usually do all my own work. But when I cannot, these guys are one of a few guys in town I trust with my vehicle!

Automatic Motors in Green Bay did a great job servicing our car's transmission. It is a complete please working with them. From the first minute on the phone until the very end. They were kind, informative, honest, and did what they said they would and they came recommended from a reputable service center in Green Bay. I was told that they have been around for a long time and I hope they continue to stick around for a long time to come. Thank you for your help, we really appreciate it!

Dropped car off Dec 4th, waited weeks until they called told it needed transmission rebuilt. Parts took very long to arrive which wasn’t their fault, and they gave me a discount. Finally got a call third week of Feb. Was out of town so picked up car Feb 27th. Four days later broke again and had to limp it back to shop. Hate leaving low review but not having your car for three months is difficult.

We thought the brakes in the truck were scraping and needed to be replaced. So we took it in for a brake replacement but Pomp’s said it was not the brakes and recommended Automatic Motors. I called on their recommendation and spoke to Darren, who said he could drive the truck the following day to figure out what the issue was and get in the schedule at his shop. After driving the truck he said it was the actuators that were cracked. He could not get to it for several weeks, but if we dropped the truck off April 1st, he could have it done in a day, or two at most. So we agreed to the work and said we’d drop the truck off at the shop the night before the work was to be done. We dropped the truck off as instructed, but we never heard from anyone at the shop. I started calling them to find out what was happening, which is an incredibly frustrating experience at their shop. Because the first person to answer the phone always is a gentleman named PJ who knows nothing about what is happening at the shop. He will take your name, and later in the day someone may or may not return your call. After receiving no call back after several calls into the shop on April 2nd and 3rd Darren did return a call and explained the actuators were replaced but did not solve the problem, and he would need to also replace the differential. He claimed this would be a couple more days at the shop, so I agreed to the work. Again, days passed and no one from the shop ever contacted me about the work that was being done, so I start reaching out to them. Monday, April 8th I get no return call. Tuesday, April 9th, both myself and my wife call the shop trying to get someone to explain what is happening (since the truck has been in their shop for 8 days at that point). When Darren calls back he claims they have been sourcing this differential all week because it’s hard to find, but they have found it and it will be installed by Friday. Friday comes and goes and no one from the shop ever contacts us. I call them and so does my wife demanding answers by the end of the day. Darren’s story on the phone is that they have ordered this part, but it still hasn’t arrived. Luckily, he claims the distributor will make an after hours delivery on a Friday night after the shop closes. Monday morning it will be at the shop ready to install. Monday, April 13th, I call the shop at 10 AM rather than wait all day to make sure the work is actually happening. PJ answers and as usual has no idea if the parts came into the shop or if anyone is even working on the truck after having it in their possession for 12 days. He claims as an employee he is as frustrated as I am as a customer, because Darren provides him no information about what is happening at the shop. Obviously, I am extremely frustrated to hear no one can verify the work we’ve been told is happening is actually going on. This time I demand Darren call me back as soon as he is back as the shop from his test drive instead of waiting all day for a call that may or may not come. In what should have no surprise when Darren called there was yet another delay with the part, but if we just gave him another day he could get it done. What was a surprise was that he was mad I “jacked up his boy PJ over the phone” when I requested that somebody explain what was going on with the car. At this point I told Darren over the phone I felt he was a liar. I didn’t believe the story about the delayed part that was so hard to get. In addition I could not in good conscience spend more money at a shop where no one could explain what work was being done. I told him I would pick the truck up as soon as I could and I did not want anymore work done at his shop. He did discount the bill 10% after telling me over the phone there was no way I would get any money off. To note: the differential that never could even be obtained by Darren at Automatic Motors was completed at Auto Select. I took the truck there April 13th when I picked it up, and they were done with the work the following morning, April 14th, less than a day later.

I was told by another shop that my transmission was toast (common issue with the 2016 6-speed). I brought the truck to Automatic Motors and they took it for two separate test drives, looked it all over, and said it was good. I had planned to spend $5000 on a rebuild, but they were honest and didn't charge me a penny for the time to look it over. I appreciate the honesty and will be back when the time comes for a rebuild.

Edit. Friday - car was repaired and they did give me a fair discount so I am updating my review the only ol honest issue I had when picking up the vehicle is it would have been good to clean up the vehicle oil on side of van and handle. Heard a lot of positive reviews on this location, the owner Darin, was friendly and helpfull. I was looking forward to a good experience, so far it hasn't been. I was told they were scheduling a month out when I dropped the vehicle off, but if I dropped it off early, they would try to get to it early. I scheduled my appointment a month out Aug 28th, and two weeks later brought the vehicle in early hoping they would get to it earlier. My appointment was on a July 28th Monday, I called hoping it had been done early, it hadn't I followed up that Aug 1st that Friday talked to PJ hoping it would be done by then, he said, they were running behind but they probably wouldn't get it done untill the upcoming Tuesday. I called August 6th Wednesday Darin, said they had a problem finding the parts and he would call me when they came in, and he would figure out some discount for me. My frustration is, they told me if I got it in early they would try to get it taken care of early I brought it in early, and a week and a half after my appt should have been, they were trying to find parts. I called August 7th we had a camping trip that upcoming weekend, They said Friday they would try to have it done. August 8th, hoping to have the Van for Friday I called talked to PJ who said it was on the lift, and they would call. August 11th, Called to pick up the van and they said, it still wasn't done.. It's been all day, I haven't gotten a call saying it is done, I am not expecting much tomorrow when I go in. hopefully it will be done.

Wonderful to deal when we had an issue with a transmission that was rebuilt by them but quite a ways after the warranty period and they still helps us out on it. More than fair with us. Glad we still have a transmission shop around! Darin is great to deal with as everyone else has been there. People leave bad reviews about how long it takes for them to get to something. They clearly do not ask how far out they are! Look behind the building they are packed with work.

Automatic motors will be the only place I take any of my vehicles for transmission repairs. They took care of my Silverado 2500 with an Allison transmission than had really strange electrical issues. Darren and the team took care of me so well, even with persistent problems coming back. Super reasonably priced for the expertise and care they provide. They're truly subject matter experts. Thanks team!
