My review of a one star is solely because a week later my windshield cracked. I then reached out about this issue and said the warranty only covers installation errors/defects. What I thought was a convenient, adequate, and most of all safe Option due to the Google reviews, I was let down by the warranty. I cannot speak about the installer because he was great, I even tipped him for his hard work and dedication. I was hoping to give this company more Business to this company from my fleet, but will never use again. Future customers make sure that you Are informed about the warranty that this company offers.

Gems are hard to find, and Autospecs on Story Road, Irving is definitely one of them. I truly appreciate how they paid attention to every small detail and ensured they replaced my windshield with the exact match for the original. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially for a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and they even provided a loaner car while mine was being worked on. Even after I dropped off my car, they called me a couple of times to reassure me that I was in good hands, especially since they noticed I was a bit anxious about the situation. I am deeply grateful for their excellent service, friendly attitude and professionalism. Great Experience!!

Autospecs glass is amazing! I Googled “windshield replacement near me” and they came up and I saw they had an overall 5 star review. That’s rare! I called to learn more and spoke with Shardiae. She was very sweet and kind and told me their process and gave me a quote. Great price! She also conferenced me in with my insurance company and they processed my claim in less than 10 minutes. Shardiae went above and beyond! She called me a few days later to inform me that my insurance company will cover an OEM windshield. She was genuinely excited for me. Shardiae made my experience an 11 out of 10. Off the charts amazing customer service and hospitality!!! When I came in to have my windshield replaced, she made me feel at home. Offered me coffee, snacks, plus they have WiFi so I could work while they replaced my windshield. Once complete, the technician, Jeff, explained what they did and the process to follow for the next couple of days. Super easy. He was nice and friendly! I will always come to Autospecs Glass for windshield replacements and highly recommend them. They treat you like family :)

UPDATE* They did follow up a month post and refunded my cleaning fee. Appreciated this gesture. There was no misunderstanding there were fingerprints and glass shards left in my vehicle. The fee refunded was for lack of cleaning. When we talked and I said "ok you want me to remove it and she said no no you can leave it just update or edit", hence the edit. I actually added a star for the effort to fix it. Bare minimum effort to fix my sunroof. They charged a $75 additional cleaning fee. To change the sunroof glass but yet left it with finger prints and tape glue all over the top of my car that was used to hold the broken glass in place. They take no pride in their work. There was also glass shards in my vehicle seats and a broken piece of plastic in track I had to pull out.

Update: I was contacted right away by the manager who assured me they stand behind their lifetime warranty and was assured they’d make it right. Two technicians came out just a few days later and replaced both pillars and cleaned up the excess urethane… Im glad I chose Autospecs! —-Original —- I went with AutoSpecs because they said they’re able to reduce the cost of their windshield replacements because they don’t use name brand windshields but are otherwise the same windows as the OEM. Our installer was very nice, but I did see him cut into the pillar that meets the windshield. He also put the mirror on slightly uneven but when I pointed it out he was able to straighten it. Then I pointed out excess urethane oozing out of the window on one side which he had to scrape off but some got on the other pillar and he struggled to fully clean it up. I’m pretty disappointed with the installation process. Now I just hope this non-brand window upholds like an OEM would.

Had an interesting experience with Autospecs Glass. I scheduled a service back in December to replace a damaged windshield, they came out to my place of residence. Work complete, with the OEM glass I requested, I go inspect the work and the technician who was working on my car let me know he damaged my steering wheel during the windshield replacement. I call the office to let them know what happened. After a few phones calls and sending them pictures, they owned the mistake and ordered a new steering wheel for my vehicle. Once the replacement steering wheel was shipped to their facility, I rejected the part due to the quality. Autospecs, understood my concern on why I rejected the part and ordered another. New steering wheel comes in, no issues, they get a mechanic to their facility and get the part swabbed out. No issues on the windshield nor the steering wheel. The honesty of the technician and the company willing to accept mistakes and working quickly to resolve the issue is why I'll recommend and use their services again.

I found Autospecs via an internet search for windshield glass replacement Irving for a BMW. I submitted an online request for a quote and received a phone call the next day with an estimate and potential service dates. Shardiae was very knowledgeable and professional, and she communicated clearly about all of the details regarding the replacement install. I booked a service date that worked best for me and took my vehicle in for windshield glass replacement in November 2025. The work took about 2 hours. The replacement glass looked great and they did an awesome job on the install and with the recalibration of the vehicle sensors. I'm writing this review almost 7 weeks later and the glass looks perfect and I've had no issues. I highly recommend Autospecs Glass in Irving.

Do not do business with this establishment. They are crooks and do not honor their work I got a windshield installed on my 2019 Peterbilt truck and ONE HOUR after getting the thing installed the windshield cracked and broke down the middle. Wasn’t moving the truck was parked stationary and the windshield cracked it started as a crack at the bottom and grew its way up to the top This indicated a stress crack as there is no reason a brand new freshly installed windshield should spontaneously crack and break on its own. A clean hair line crack straight up and down Contacted this facility explaining what had happened and they immediately shut it down stating the truck had been hit with a rock. AN HOUR AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED. They didn’t ask to check and confirm it they just jumped to saying the cracked windshield was caused by an impact that never occurred and offered to install another one for $275 😂 Spend your money somewhere else these people don’t know what they are doing obviously but worse than that they don’t HONOR their work spend your money at the next glass place

THEY are way better than shieldlite pricing. Autospecs glass where reasonable priced for my windshield. They were also understanding, friendly and got the job done in a reasonable time. While waiting for my car in the waiting room, they had refreshments, a clean waiting room. A pet turtle 🐢, His name is Angelo, hes really cute. Their Receptionist Shardiae was friendly, great to talk too and cared about giving the best customer service that I felt welcomed to be there. When in doubt, go these guys. You won't regret it :)

Shout out to James with a great install! I called Autospecs and less than 24hrs later my windshield was replaced. I planned to get multiple quotes but Autospecs had a great price from the start and saved me time and money. Great service and product!
