I give them 10 STARS!!!! I have a 2001 pt cruiser that kept overheating. I took it to Goodyear I had been going to them for 10 years and they couldn't find the problem and said it was probably a blown head ($1500 job). We replaced the radiator, thermostat and radiator cap but it still overheated. So I decided to take it to the dealership thinking since they specialize in pt cruisers they would find the problem. So $140 and 1day later they tell me my whole fan assembly is out and wanted to charge double of what Auto Tech charges. I found Auto Tech online and called and spoke to Jim the owner and took my car up there the same day. Jim is the professor of mechanics and explained everything to me where it made total since. He said he wanted to run his own diagnostics test because sometimes the dealership gets it wrong and charge you more for things that don't need fixing. He called me bk and said it was only the fan module not the whole assembly. They will def get my business from here on out!!! I would def recommend Auto Tech hands down they get right to your car and have Very reasonable prices!!! I haven't had any problems since they fixed it :)

Jim Patel and Lee are good at diagnosing car issues. Talk to them, explain your car issue, They are knowledgeable, clean, and helpful. I have been a regular customer ever since they were recommended to us and diagnosed the root cause and fixed an electronic issue that returned twice after Toyota Of Dallas blindly replaced a car computer that kept burning out. The issue was that some copper wire debris in the engine area caused a short circuit. Go figure.

I’ve been taking my cars to Autotech for the past several years. Jim knows his profession so well, and is very ethical in how he takes care of his customers. He doesn’t over charge like most dealers too and also suggests just the right kind of repairs to keep my cars tuned up and running. Highly recommend for any auto needs, irrespective of the brand!

I had visited AutoTech a while back to get my brakes fixed. They treated me nicely and got my car done in a single day and gave me a pretty good deal on the repair costs. Recently, my wife could not longer shift gears on her vehicle and was stranded. The tow truck driver discovered it was a small, plastic bushing in the transmission assembly that broke. He fixed it for her temporarily and I recommended she visit AutoTech. This single plastic piece caused so much havoc for us. My wife had to drive back and forth in the pouring rain with every auto parts store claiming they sold a universal part but it didn't fit her car after we bought it. The people at AutoTech were swamped but still went out of their way to try and find this part for us. When none could be found, they went as far as to fabricate a bushing to fit her car temporarily until a replacement could be found. They didn't have to, but they did. We finally found the part, albeit as part of an entire, more expensive assembly, and AutoTech found time in their already overwhelming backlog to finish the repair they started as promised, even giving us a wonderful deal when I was more than willing to pay the normal repair cost. Again, they didn't have to and could have treated us like any normal mechanic, but they did and went that extra mile. Thank you, AutoTech. Thank you for taking care of my wife so she can continue to drive safely on the road.

I arrived without an appointment. My car was stalling on me. The receptionist was really helpful but stated they were 1-week behind. I asked if they could at least tell what my issue could be before I head back on the road. She said she would check. They agreed, thank goodness. I waited outside for about 20-30 minutes to hear the outcome. They found the issue and I was relieved and asked since they were behind if I could bring it back in a week for the repair not knowing how I would get to and from work. Long and behold Stephanie the Receptionist said… we made an exception for you and can fit you in and have vehicle ready in 4-hours. I was so grateful and surprised! I said I guess I’ll just hang out and wait. Next thing I knew, a humble man, which turned out to be the owner approached me and said I can give you a ride home so you don’t have to sit here that long and wait. I couldn’t believe my ears. I gratefully accepted the ride. On the ride home, he told me some of the best stories that helped make he and his company 30-years strong today! I was really impressed by Stephanie’s ability to put herself in others shoes. She went the extra mile, communicated with her staff to make it happen/fit me in. Shout out to the mechanics, my car runs smooth, like butter..no more stalling, clunking sound or hesitation!!! It was my gas pedal sensor. The owner was Professional, warm, very knowledgeable, with fair pricing. The Establishment, inside and out is so welcoming, clean and nice!!! There’s also a fast food restaurant next door. Very satisfied with the service that AutoTech provided me today. I have never experienced the customer service that AutoTech provided to me on a personal level. I text the office on their Facebook page, what was my concerning issue with my vehicle and was told to bring it on in. I was in and out in no time. Problem solved. They are very committed to the work they do. Very reliable. They have certainly earned my respect and anyone else that I happen to know that is having an issue with their own vehicles. Make sure you read the other 1 star reviews regarding this business before moving forward with them. I was in a wreck on 10/26 and had my car towed here. Prior to towing I wanted to ensure the had the capacity to repair my car in a timely manner. The shop stated the did in fact have the capacity but did not. After a week, not a single repair was done and they claimed to be waiting on the insurance company despite an initial estimate having been completed and approved they tried to charge me false fees! I will be seeing them in magistrate court. Take your car elsewhere. Update: Owner tried to run me over with his car! Police have been called and charged will be filed.

Always top of the line, fast expert service from this absolute gem of an Auto Repair shop. They completely restored my faith in auto mechanics, providing outstanding service for a completely fair price. I’ve been bringing my 2010 Merecedes here for routine service and repairs for years. Subject: Complaint Regarding Unethical Practices by AutoTech Auto Body & Collision Center We are writing to bring attention to a serious concern involving AutoTech Auto Body & Collision Center. One of our customers had her vehicle towed to their shop due to a battery issue that prevented it from starting. Instead of providing straightforward assistance, the shop demanded excessive diagnostic and storage fees. Due to the high charges and lack of communication, the customer was unable to retrieve her vehicle in a timely manner. This ultimately led to her account becoming delinquent and placed the vehicle at risk of repossession. What’s most troubling is that AutoTech failed to notify either the registered owner or the lienholder about the vehicle's status or the accumulating fees. When we eventually located the vehicle—after it had been in their possession for over a month—we were informed that over $1,500 in storage fees were owed, despite no repairs having been performed. We believe these actions are deceptive and predatory. We strongly urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this business.

I previously gave them a better rating but after this last event it changed. Jim has turned into one of the worse owners I've ever dealt with. He lied to me in my face and have hurt my business tremendously for the last six months. After misdiagnosing my truck several times he assured me that the last thing would fix the problem and if not he would take it to GM and pay for it himself. I agreed and within a week the truck is doing the same thing. Took it back, he took it to GM and paid for it but it didn't fix the problem. I breakdown out of state and I have it towed to GM and they finally find the problem and now Jim doesn't want to pay and left me with a bill. All the incorrect work he did that didn't fix the problem is well over 10 to 15k. Sad how these owners are your best friend when you're spending money with them, to now avoiding my calls and even hanging up on a paying customer. Rude!! And now he's lying again, he never traveled 200 miles one way for me and it wasn't an oversized load. It was 11,000 lbs. The advise Lee gave me is what cause this. Don't worry I have the proof of the BOL that shows weight. And I was barely outside of Fort Worth.

This repair shop was recommended by a colleague in my office for its reputable business practice and quality workmanship. This was several years ago; I will be a lifelong customer work done for my Ford F-150 Audi A3 and now Toyota Crown. For quality, customer service and reasonable price I entrust all my vehicles to: repairs, tune-ups, and inspections to be done by this shop. I recently had a major repair done on my Audi: water pump replacement, oil level sensor replacement, alignment, oil change inspection and electrical shorts. I am pleased with the quality work and reasonable price from this shop. They went above expectations by fixing issues that was not charged to me on my bill. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop.

Lee,keep lying all this will be used against you. It was not 200 miles, I wasn't even to Weatherford Tx. It wasn't over weight, I have a Bill of Lading showing under 12,000. A 3/4 ton shouldn't have a problem with that. It's non CDL under 26k total. It was the advise Lee gave me that landed me on the side of the road and that's why he came. Also him putting the wrong fluid in didn't help the situation. He also agree to service the front differential when I got back and that would have fixed the problem. Instead he misdiagnosed my truck and said it was the transmission first, when that didnt fix the problem he said it was the fuel system, after replacing complete fuel system and pumps you assured the problem would be fixed and if it wasnt you would pay for it personally. This is about 6 months off and on of you having my truck to fix this one issue after guessing wrong several times finally the truck breaks down and a different GM finds the problem and now Jim doesn't want to pay like he said. This is after he paid for the first GM bill and the problem wasn't resolved. I've spend over 15k and if properly diagnosed it would have been fixed at 4k. So that explains why he's not answering while I'm calling during business hours, leaving me without answers and when he does call it's very one sided. Quick to hang up if you don't agree with what he's saying.

Auto Tech has continued to impress me for more than 10 years. I never go to the dealer for anything because I trust the advice I receive from this team. I can always count on a great explanation of why I need the work done and how it will be completed. Recently, my BMW was considered totaled by the insurance company due to accident. Jim looked at the car assured me that replacing parts would leave the car in better condition than before. Lee installed the new painted parts with excellence that matches perfectly.
