My friend and I were headed back to Utah from a trip in Washington when her check engine light came on and we found out it was a cylinder misfire. Autoworks of Issaquah was the first place recommended to us for their work and integrity. When we had tried 5 other places and they were all booked out, they promised to do whatever they could to squeeze us in despite having full book and being down 2 technicians. Ashley even came out and made sure I was OK when I got a little emotional. These people are so kind and the quality of their work is next to none. Would 100% recommend.

We recently used Autoworks of Issaquah to charge a dead battery and, as necessary, replace the battery and determine if the car (Subaru Forester) had a "root cause" for the failure. During this work, Autoworks' performance was timely, precise, and effective. Additionally, I was impressed by the clean/organized work areas and discussions with Jon (Owner) and Ashley (Service Advisor). In my view, all are very focused, professional, and committed to excellent service. Bottom Line: We evaluate the visit and the facility as "5-Star" in every area and intend to use Autoworks of Issaquah as our "vendor of choice" for any work on this car.

Been going here for years, service is top-notch and they’re very thorough when performing general maintenance on our cars. I always feel confident my car is in good health when I’m done with repairs. The only issue that holds me from rating them five stars, is the convenience of getting in. It’s challenging to book time when issues arise, and generally will have to leave your car for the day vs. waiting for it to have work performed. So be prepared.

Amazing is a huge understatement. My front brakes completely failed me. I had them fixed within 24 hours, thanks to Autoworks of Issaquah. I could feel my front brakes failing for a few weeks so I posted on “NextDoor” asking if anyone had any recommendations for a place to get a brake replacement. My brakes decided to completely fail very quickly one day, so I referred back to my NextDoor post and the OVERWHELMING consensus was to take my car the Autoworks of Issaquah. So, I gave them a call and they took my car in the same day and said that they would have my car fixed by noon the next day. I got a call by 9am the next day with a complete diagnostic and offer to wave the diagnostic fee if I commit to getting my car fixed. I agreed and my car was fixed 3 hours later!! I use my car for work, so this service was INCREDIBLE for me. In short; I brought car in on a Wednesday at 3pm and it was returned to me at 1pm on Thursday completely fixed. AMAZING! Not to mention the office staff was extremely helpful to someone who knows minimal about cars and gave me 100/10 customer service. They were kind, patient, and understanding. Autoworks of Issaquah has earned my service as well as any recommendation to someone who needs service for their car(s).

This is my 2nd experience with Autoworks of Issaquah and once again I am quite pleased with their customer service and quality of repair. Easy online scheduling and communication through phone calls and text messaging was great. You get the expense of the repair upfront and agreed to. If you need scheduled maintenance of your car or repair of mechanical issues I would recommend giving them a try. I think you will be as satisfied as I am.

I just wanted to take a second to say how amazing this company is. I had questions about fluid levels for my vehicle and didn’t know what was really necessary. They answered all my questions over the phone and even told me to swing by so they could check to be sure. Ended up topping off my fluid levels for free. Amazing service!

My car hit something in the road which caused my skid plate / engine splash shield to bend and drag on the street. I called them and they got me in right away and were able to do a temporary fix it until my new plate was ordered for them to install. The price was extremely reasonable and the service was top notch. I highly recommend them for any and all car needs

We took our car to this shop a few days ago to fix the check engine light and a loud engine noise. They diagnosed the issue and informed us about the problem. However, when we got the car back after a couple of days, the check engine light was still on, and the noise remained. We were then told that the issue couldn't be fixed. Despite this, we were charged twice for diagnostics for different reasons. The very next day, the car completely broke down in the middle of the road. Extremely dissatisfied with the service—we ended up paying $1,000 for a repair that didn’t even last a single day. Updated response: Yes, all the pictures were sent before investigation. After the final diagnosis, neither the issues with the lights nor the abnormal engine sounds were addressed. When my car completely broke down the following morning, I called for assistance and was told that another diagnosis might be necessary if we want to bring it there—even though a final diagnosis had already been completed. Anyway, we decided to move on. Additionally, the amount charged for the investigation alone seems bogus given the unresolved issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to get the problem fixed at the last minute. It is overly priced. It is better to do a research.

I don't write many reviews but when I receive service that warrants it, I am glad to share my experience. This was my experience with Autoworks of Issaquah. Once the car had been inspected, I received a text link to a very detailed list of repairs. The need for the repairs was documented not only with an explanation specific to my vehicle, they were accompanied but photos showing the needed repair. Each repair was also categorized by urgency. Soon after receiving the text I received a phone call from Cameron who talked me through each repair. The cost for parts and labor along with the estimated repair time was all included. We agreed on a completion day and the car was ready on the agreed upon day. Soon after the repair a secondary, previously unidentified issue became apparent. After bringing it Cameron's attention, he was immediately responsive and accomodating and was able to address the secondary issue both completely and with minimal additional cost. In all, this is one of the most positive experiences I've had with an auto repair shop.

If honest, skilled auto technicians are worth their weight in gold, Autoworks of Issaquah is Fort Knox. I've taken several vehicles to their shop, and each time the work was done right the first time, with no unexpected charges or unnecessary work. They even have secured key storage for drop off and pickup after hours if needed. Highly recommended!

I’ve brought several vehicles here, and each time, the diagnosis, professionalism, and service have been great. They provide a detailed breakdown of the issues, complete with pictures, and offer estimated repair costs. I’ve generally been satisfied with their work. However, every time I receive the list of recommended repairs, I’m hit with sticker shock – their prices seem higher than the regional average. Another minor concern is that, while not always the case, communication can sometimes be slow.

Sometimes, FIVE STARS is not enough; you need more STARS. I've utilized Autoworks of Issaquah for all of our family cars for several years. I will definitely continue to do so! An event this month (January 2026) is worth retelling -- for "WHY". Following a repair completed for one vehicle in Q4, 2025, a new, larger problem with the fuel injection system appeared. I came back to Autoworks to discuss what had happened and why. Autoworks immediately ascertained they "missed something" and took responsibility for the new repairs. Even covering a couple of additional maintenance items (while in the "engine neighborhood"). All at NO cost to me. And a pretty substantial cost to Autoworks. No argument. No covering. Just "Client Satisfaction". If you are looking for PERFECTION - both for repairs and then for unquestionably standing behind their work: Autoworks of Issaquah. I retain tremendous respect for Jon, the owner; Cameron, the Service Manager; and the technical staff at Autoworks of Issaquah.
