Dear AutoZone Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from the manager at the Ross Avenue, Dallas, Texas location. I called the store twice to inquire about tax exemptions for 501(c)(3) organizations. Both calls ended with the manager, who has pink hair, disconnecting the line after becoming confrontational. When I visited the store, the manager continued to display unprofessional behavior, making snide remarks about my mother and refusing to provide her name. She also locked the door, turning away potential customers and harming business. The correct response to my inquiry would have been, "I'm sorry, but we don't honor 501(c)(3) exemptions." Instead, her attitude and actions escalated the situation. I had intended to make a significant purchase due to the store's availability, but the manager's behavior deterred me. I seek a response and apology regarding this incident, which severely reflects on the AutoZone brand. Based on my recent interaction, I believe this individual may not be well-suited for a customer-facing role. Her behavior and communication style suggest she may excel in a different position or environment, potentially with less customer interaction.

Highly recommend this place because of Carols M and most definitely Paula W deserves a promotion. They will do their best to go above and beyond for you when you are in a bind. They understand the customer and were even willing to drive a mile down the road to get antifreeze from another auto zone. Engine was smoking we could not move the car. They went above and beyond to solve the problem and because of them and this experience I am sure to always come back to this place.

I’ve been shopping autozone for almost three decades. Worst experience at this location. The clerk looked up my vehicle, physically handed me the headlight bulb, asked my phone number, confirmed my name, asked if I needed a receipt. Pretty typical or so I would’ve thought… I opted for no receipt because why should I need one? Isn’t this why she asked my phone number? Well, the clerk sold me the incorrect bulb… no big deal. Not convenient, but whatever. People make mistakes. Brought the (unopened box) and my existing bad bulb back to the same location less than 18 hours later. Manager on duty was everything but helpful and acted like this was my fault and tried refusing an exchange because I opted for no paper receipt. I’ve a pretty good grasp on how retail systems operate so only after he realized I wasn’t leaving without an exchange or refund magically he scans the package I purchased yesterday and in two seconds there’s my receipt with my name on his computer screen. As if his ego was hurt or something he then has to make a point of saying he won’t be giving me any exchanges again unless I have my paper receipt. 1.) That’s on you sir, train your cashier to hand customers receipts and not ask if they would like one. 2.) This entire exchange wouldn’t have happened if they gave me the correct part. Hell, my vehicle info is stored in the system. * the cashier/desk person I was working with before the manager became involved was everything I expect from Autozone. Helpful, understanding, friendly attitude.

Came in earlier to buy oil I and ask if it’s ok to drop off use oil they said ok, the manager had a very bad attitude when I said I had 15 gallons, she said I could only drop off 2 or 3. Help it make sense if you have hundreds of customers and everyone drop off 2. This is my home store but I have to give it a one start because of the management. Workers are good and positive people.
