I walked into Autozone #1139 this morning stressed because my heater in my truck wasn’t working. I was pleasantly greeted by Shannon who I later found out was the store manager. Her smile was really pleasant and bright which took some of the edge off of my poor attitude. After I told her what was needed I she began asking me a series of questions which helped me to immediately get my heater working. Of course, my day immediately became brighter as my issue was temporarily solved. Shannon went on to diagnose my issue and give me the price that I would need in the future if this issue popped up again. I learned today how a simple smile can lead to a positive outcome. If i could give this store 10 stars i would. Manager Shannon and the Assistant Manager are amazing. The ladys at this store are very knowledgable and care about their customers. We had no clue what was wrong with the vehicle. They ran a check on it and it threw all kind of codes. They did everything in their power to help us try to figure out what was wrong with the car. Shannon was suppose to get off work at 4 but stayed to make sure if we got it running. after 12 hours of working on it my fiance couldnt get it figured out. Shannon called her husband an he came to help. They took us to a hotel and picked us up the next day and her husband worked on the car for us and got it running for us. Shannon and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we got back on the road. Very thankful for them. The assistant manager was amazing and very helpful as well.

What a great employee at your Charleston Wv location. I spent my morning trying two advance auto locations trying to find a key for my performance wheels on my car in order to do a brake job. Shannon at your location was able to accomplish in 10 minutes what employees at both advance locations didn’t have a clue about. All that and still managed to help another customer in the store and even one on the phone!! What a great employee! I wish I had thanked her more while I was there. So nice to visit a location where an employee goes out of their way to assist customers. The blank stares and they couldn’t care less attitude at advance auto is the other extreme. Rest assured my car shopping regardless what I need parts, cleaning etc will be at your location in Charleston! I was so impressed as to be stunned , thanks again Shannon! Glad I looked at your name tag so I could include your name in this review. I hope they’re paying you well as I’m certain you’re the main reason for repeat customers!

Amazing customer service!! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. I was looking for a thermostat and window guards for my doors of my vehicle and they were quick and fast at locating these items for me. Also, I had questions about car wash products and they we're very helpful and knowledgeable of the products I asked for. I also purchased windshield wipers and the installed them for me. Very good experience overall!

We were on our way back to Wisconsin from a visit in North Carolina when our car’s battery light came on. We got off in Charleston and went directly to this Autozone, where our car completely died (thankfully in a safe spot). Damien helped us get a new battery and called our anxiety as we still had 8 hours left in our drive. He was super helpful and we are so thankful for his expertise! Thanks, Damien!!

2022-Had to get a new battery suddenly, and I definitely wasn't expecting that expense ($200). That being said, the gentleman who sold it to me also installed it and cleaned the connector where the old battery had caused some build-up. He was very nice and as quick as he could be given the circumstances. 2024 Update: I had to return because the battery went bad, but the awesome lady mechanic fixed it right up! Yay for girl power!!! 2025: had to replace the brake system and was able to be in and out with the required equipment in just a few minutes. The 2 gentleman were very helpful and offered to carry the items to the car (I definitely underestimated how heavy rotors were).
