I'm there regularly but I ask a guy what's the difference between the fuel line disconnecting tool and he said he didn't know what's the point of working there when you have no knowledge of cars. Not returning to this location again.

Literally the absolute worst customer service. I bought 2 parts in July & went in to pick them up . They had no way to look it up or find my part . Asked me if it was the right autozone . I called in after leaving & the same older lady inside was of absolute no help and needs immediate training . She hung up on me while I was explaining what I purchased . Didn’t ask for the car , my account information , cut me off when speaking . Do better autozone & get me my refund !!

Witnessed an employee throw a tantrum in front of whole bunch of customers. When I called the store to get a name of the employee. I was transferred to 3 different people. I called with the request of the name of the employee to make a complaint about what I witnessed. I was told no. . Spoke to 3 different people. First person was a regular employee. He then handed the phone to a manager (female). After my conversation with her. She thought it would be a brilliant idea to hand the phone to the employee who was yelling threats. I explain the reason for my phone call. for the 3rd time! And that I was only inquiring to get the name of the employee to make my complaint. I explained to him to accuse a random person and make threats in a store full of people was very unprofessional. Especially if you are on the clock.

Went into Auto Zone 3875 Mission Ave Oceanside to buy a simple item. Clerk was at the counter as I was standing 3ft away waiting for him to acknowledge me with an item in my hand but to no prevail. Both Customer and Clerk were having a great time engaged in conversation speaking Spanish. After no help "5" minutes I set my item down and left. I will never shop there again! Returned home and pulled up the RockAuto website and ordered my Permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker.This was mid day 1:00pm September 27 2025 on Saturday. RockAuto site stated item will arrive at my home Monday 29th. Now thats service and the item was aggressively priced which was a bonus. I will shop with Rock Auto for all my future automotive needs and spead the work to friends family and coworkers.

I’ve been a long-time AutoZone customer, but was very disappointed with my recent experience. An employee recommended that I purchase an OBD scanner. After taking it home, we discovered it didn’t work as expected. We returned to the store within a week, well within the *90-day return policy* printed on the receipt. However, the Parts Sales Manager, refused to accept the return simply because the scanner had been plugged in once — which is the only way to see if it works. His reasoning made no sense, and it goes directly against the written return policy. The manager was also extremely unfriendly and showed no concern for customer service. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I’ve trusted AutoZone for years, but this interaction has made me reconsider where I shop for auto parts going forward. Customer loyalty should be valued, and policies should be honored consistently.
