I needed wiper blades. The man behind the counter helped me choose the best value of wipers for my vehicle. The best part is he installed them for free! With that kind of level of service and customer satisfaction. I now have found a parts store where service comes first. I will be shopping at AutoZone for all my auto needs in the future. If you are looking for great service and fair prices, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Went to drop off my oil change and filter and an employee with white hair (comb over style) took the oil reservoir that I placed on the cart. I acknowledged him by saying hi how you doin. I didn’t hear any response from him nor any eye contact. I said WOW! as he walked away toward the back of the store to drain the oil reservoir. His fast paced walking appears to be in a hurry or maybe irritable. Not sure 🤔. Once he finished and walked towards the cash register area, I followed while he placed the cart with my reservoir on the cart. He walked away quickly n he said there you’re done have a good day! Again no eye contact But his voice tone wasn’t right. I sensed he was irritated because he didn’t make any eye contact from the time he rolled the cart away until he was finished. This was the second time I went there for oil drop off. The first time about 2 months I was assisted by Xavier who was kind and personable. That same white hair comb over employee was there while I was assisted by Xavier. And he was actually listening while we talked. I noticed then he gives off bad vibes. But the second time (last week)left a bad impression. He generates bad energy in the store. I DONT LIKE THAT MAN!!!!

I want to take a chance to shout out the excellent service I received at this autozone location! A few days ago, I was heading to the adjacent taco bell. The battery light on my dash came on, and just before I entered the shopping center, my car died. I managed to coast off the road to be (mostly) out of the way of traffic. My husband was at work and unable to come help and roadside assistance quoted 2.5 hours at least. My husband on the phone suggested I head to autozone as he had noted my battery was very old and had accumulated a lot of acid residue. He said that I should purchase a new battery and he would try to find someone to come and help me install it. Once I entered the store, I was helped by both Bert and Cameron who upon hearing of my issue, came out and not only helped me push my car to safety, but then also offered to replace my battery for me. It was because of them I was stranded for no more than an hour when I was worried I might be stuck there for several hours. It's been a long time since I've received service this kind and extensive. I can't say enough kind things about the staff at this location, especially Bert and Cameron. Thank you guys!

Went to return a steering wheel cover that did not fit correctly. The staff was helpful in the return process and I left with the correct cover. I also noticed how clean and organized this store is. The staff is very helpful. I always go to this store because I know I am going to get the right information and parts!! Check it out.

My husband and I went to Auto Zone on Whitelock and Bruceville in Elk Grove yesterday (per the suggestion of the tow truck driver). A young man named Sherif came out and addressed our concerns (we’re in our 70’s and know nothing about cars/trucks). He checked our two batteries and also noticed our 4wheel drive was engaged as our truck was spinning its wheels. What we thought were MAJOR issues were fixed in a matter of minutes by Sherif! We felt he took extra time with us and we were very grateful for his service. Although we live very close to this Auto Zone, we had never been there before. We will now be back!

Checked online and found high reviews and chose this store! But makes me very disappointed and angry! The first time I changed the battery in my car, a staff member named Bert was responsible for the replacement, but the technology was very unskilled. When dismantling parts, a part fell into the car and it took time to find it (also found by my husband). Replace it. The battery has been replaced with the screws, but Bert knew that he forgot to put the battery cover soft rubber back on after I reminded him to put it back impatiently, and his attitude was very poor with a foul language! When the worse thing is that the screw is not tightened, and the trigger can't be opened again the next day! Just put the screw cap on before you can start the car!

I went in to buy a battery as the cashier is looking up the correct one I see I have an offer in my email for Memorial Day if you are or are a family of an active member or veteran you got some small discount. Cool that’s definitely me. I mention this to my cashier but we had gotten too far in the transaction I guess. He said he would need help to fix it and would ask the manager. I said no problem I’ll install the new battery and bring the old one back maybe we can figure it out then… Almost forgot to mention! I was installing it myself because they said they were too busy to help me which you know maybe that should have been a sign to go to another location with full service but I stayed….Well I bring back the old battery and sadly the first person who was helping me is gone. I explain the situation to the second person and asked her if we could make the correction. And her first question was had I bought the battery already. I’m saying yes of course this is the old battery being returned for the core. She then says she can’t fix it because I’d have to return the battery and you can’t return a battery once it’s been installed apparently. I pressed and she asked to see my military ID card. I explain it’s not myself but two grandpas, a stepdad, and two brothers how would you like to go about verifying? She actually didn’t answer me at that point. I guess someone who with an ID card had to be physically present I’m not sure what would have satisfied her. I could have asked my stepdad to text me a picture of himself holding his ID or one of my brothers but then maybe she would have wanted birth certificates? I’m looking over the email I see nothing about what she had requested to receive the offer. I thought I got the email because we had used my stepdad’s info before. But I was done haggling with this lady’s sour demeanor for 20 dollars. I just think the situation could have been handled better especially on Memorial Day my family has made tremendous sacrifices for our family that had served and didn’t come back the same. There was no acknowledging that what so ever … it really felt like she was trying to accuse me of stealing that tiny discount… and it sickeningly felt racially motivated… it was a horribly offensive thing to experience especially on Memorial Day of all days

My mother's brake light went out and I don't know how to replace it. We went AutoZone and were quickly greeted and helped. Employee Bert provided excellent customer service by quickly identifying the correct brake light bulb for my mother's car, then going above and beyond by not only replacing the burnt out bulb but also proactively checking and replacing the other one that appeared likely to fail soon, all while being friendly and explaining the process clearly. The store was clean and well-organized, making for a positive experience overall. We would definitely recommend this business.

Ive been coming to this autozone for a long time. Commercial and personal automotive repair. This shop has been very good when it comes to parts. Personally, the person I enjoy, working with or dealing with has been Logan. He goes above and beyond, and does a phenomenal job in what he does.

Lady Manager turned me away for a return on a defective part. Told me that she cannot accept the return since it is electronic. I mention that it was defective and she keep telling me that she can't resell it. My first thought was why would you resell it if it is defective?. Second I was reading the autozone return policy and never was mebtion about not accepting returns on electronics. Autozone return policy was written that as long as i have the original packaging and with the used part they can still accept returns and can be exchange or refund. I would recommend to avoid this store in Bruceville and Whitelock in Elk Grove. They don't know anything about their policy and was completely useless.

I ordered an alternator online from AutoZone. The only shipping option was overnight delivery. I received the delivery via FedEx and did not need the alternator anymore and went to the Bruceville Rd store here in Elk Grove, (store #6289) and was told by Richard the store manager, that I need to drive across town to return it because they can’t take it. He told me because it’s an overnight shipment, which didn’t make sense to me, even tho I told him that there were no other shipping options but that. The Hub location is located on Stockton Blvd and Florin Rd which is very far from that store. I’d pass 4-5 AutoZone’s before getting to that one. This was also during peak traffic hours around 3:30 pm on a Wednesday. When I got to the Hub, the employee there asked me why I drove all the way to their store when my home address shows that the Bruceville Rd store is close to me. I told him that Richard told me that they can’t accept my return, and that I had to drive down to the hub. The hub employee said that that is not true. So I called the Bruceville store back and got Bert on the phone. I asked him about the whole situation and he began to mumble and fumble his words and told me that their system sometimes isn’t setup to find the order.. I told him that another employee found the order with the barcode on both my paper receipt that I had in hand, and with the barcode that I also had in my email. I told Bert that it sounds like he’s covering up for Richard since they’re both managers. He told me “I can’t help you, sorry” and slammed the phone and hung up on me. As a disabled individual, this was a horrible experience. The whole ordeal took about 1.5 hours of driving, time wasted, gas wasted, all because Richard didn’t want to take a hit to his store and accept a customer return. He was ok with letting me drive all around town so he can save himself a few bucks on his earnings report. Richard and Bert and both terrible employees. I’m reaching out to two District Managers by the name of Jose Alanis and Gustavo Aceves. Gustavo is in charge of that particular store. There are several negative reviews about this store so I’m not the only one going through this. If you’re disabled like myself, speak to your attorney because this is unethical and discrimination against disabled people. Also reach out to corporate if nothing comes from the regional manager or district manager if they bury it under the rug. You don’t have to be treated this way.

I’d like to give a big shout-out to Christopher D. for delivering truly exceptional customer service! From the moment I walked in, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping me find exactly what I needed. His professionalism, patience, and positive attitude made the experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s not every day you come across someone who genuinely cares about providing great customer service — and Christopher absolutely delivered. If you’re heading to AutoZone #6289, I highly recommend asking for Christopher. He’s a true asset to the team!

Came to buy rotor and brake pads for my son is350 at 7:51pm. Left the store with them. Got home took off my old brakes and rotor, opened the brake rotor and it was the wrong one. Had to rush over to exchange them because my car is halfway in the garage and can’t close the garage. Got to the store, they gave me the right brake rotor and no compensation or nothing for their mistake. Imagine the store was closed, I would have to put my old brake pads n rotor on and wait til they open. I always come to this store because service has always been good but this time the Asian lady I think is one of the manager (she was the one that gave me the wrong ones) no apologies or nothing…bad service. Will not come to this store again.

Employees do not greet customers, customer service lacks every time. When you ask them to run a diagnostic check the employees look dumbfounded as it's not a service they provide. If you're planning to come here be ready to help yourself because the employees are too busy doing nothing! Even had one of the employees hand me the diagnostic reader and tell me to do it myself as “they don’t like going in peoples cars” would recommend a different field of work for all the employees at this specific location as they lack basic customer service

Competent and friendly staff. Called ahead about brake pads/rotors for my Ram 1500. Parts were waiting on a cart when I arrived. First class experience. Not the closest Autozone from my house, but worth the extra ten min drive time, especially since they went the extra mile for me. THANKS A MILLION

Bert was exceptional! I arrived with my elderly mom who had a check engine light on her car. Bert did a diagnostic check for the engine and on the charging system. He added oil since it was low, and gave us part estimates for other needed work. He was very helpful and friendly! Much appreciated.
