It’s tough to find a good shop. I had some work done on my transmission here a few months ago. They charged me for a comprehensive transmission performance check, which seemed like a scam in hindsight. When I had problems again this month, though, they fixed it for free with courteous service! I highly recommend these folks.

My clutch master cylinder went out on my honda civic si and Jon fixed the problem for me quickly and did a great job. Another shop had replaced the part maybe a year prior and the feel of the pedal had no comparison to the parts that B&K put in. Now it shifts smooth!

The review is going to be nice and simple. I went in with transmission issues told them my second gear was gone and that I thought it was solenoid b for my car. I paid a good amount of money for diagnosis, I watched through the waiting room and they did the bare minimum. And gave me a quote over 3 thousand dollars to replace and rebuild everything for my transmission. I personally took my time, a novice mechanic and replace solenoid b on my transmission and it fixed all my issues. This transmission shop used to be great. But when times are tough and we are all struggling for money, they need to do better especially since I told them what I thought the issue was and I was correct.

In a nutshell- My manual transmission was grinding away. Several shops had estimates that were $5K plus. B&K offered to rebuild at a price that was a little more than half that. Been driving it for a month and runs smooth. Credit goes to Jon for making sure everything happened.

EDIT: I changed the rating because they deserved it. They fired Frank. They offered to take the car back since it was under their warranty because they wanted to make it right. They worked VERY hard to fix the problem and they even had to look at the new part they put in. Now the car works great. I am thankful they reached out and we were able to speak to someone else. This has a low score for several reasons. To clarify this is the one of 22nd and craycroft. 1. Frank was incredibly hostile when i asked him to clarify anything. Saying things like "you dont trust me?" "Well you might as well just get a new car" etc. 2. They lied about using our warranty. Claiming that he called several times and is starting to make them mad. When I speak to the warranty they have no record of them calling except once on the 2nd. Because they didnt call the warranty, they forced me to pay $1400 which could have been covered. 3. Our car still has the same problems. What did they even fix? I dont know much about cars so they could have done nothing and I wouldnt know. Do not go there if you want to be scammed. They are NOT there to help you.

I had gone to a franchise auto shop for an oil change. They told me that I had a slight leak coming from my transmission and offered to look at it for a price but I would have to leave my vehicle there for 2 to 3 days. Then it could take up to a week to repair. I took it to B and K, honestly just because it was close to me. They were friendly and able to diagnose and repair my vehicle in a quarter of the time the other place quoted me. They were also able to get it covered under an extended warranty I had. This place was awesome and I recommend them hands down over the other guys.

I am impressed with the staff and service I received on my 2013 Buick Enclave. Jimmy is very informative and keeps you updated along the way. Explains things very well and professionally. I have went here several times for services with no problems. However, this past experience I gave them my parts kit and they never gave the unused parts back. Guy at the desk is horrible at Customer service and rude. Definitely will not return and do not recommend.
