My wife and I just purchased a 2020 CT5V we’ve had it approximately 14 days and brought in for a service on the rear axle and backfiring through the engine They have had our car now for seven days when I asked to talk to the service writer today October 15, 2020 he told me that the part for axle was on back order which is understandable but which is not acceptable they’re trying to tell me the back fire of the engine is normal operation I do not believe that BS. Has anyone else had Similar problems with this make of vehicle?

WORST dealership ever!!! They are GREAT when BUYING your car BUT any routine maintenance service TAKES FOREVER and NO loaner cars unless you book a MONTH in advance and even then sometimes you get there and they say “I’m so sorry but we don’t have a loaner available!” So if paying $120,000.00+ for a car GO ELSEWHERE!!! Northside Lexus and Mercedes dealerships are fantastic!!!

I had called Tuesday morning because I noticed my rear passenger tire was slowly leaking air. We have a tire warranty that expires in a few weeks so I figured I would go and take advantage of the warranty we paid. I sat in the lobby for two hours, only to be told that the problem is the valve stem and that this was not covered unless the whole tire is changed out. The tire couldn’t be changed because supposedly it is beyond the tread amount of 3/32, which is hard to believe since this tire was replaced just last year. I was given a quote of $170.69, to change the valve stem. Today I called Discount Tire because my tire is even more low on air, and when I asked “how much?”, you know what the response was….”There is no charge ma’am, we will take care of you, just come on in.” Unfortunately, my husband is living out of town for a year due to work and I am by myself with three kids trying to manage these things and I know that dealerships see women with small children and just see dollar signs because they think we are ignorant. Well maybe that should start changing, because this lady right here knows that a package of valve stems (multiple in the package) costs less than $10. I don’t have the tools necessary to get the car jacked up and change the valve stem or I’d do it myself. Charging $170.69 for this is blasphemy and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Like I tell my children everyday…”Do better and be better, so this world can be a better place!” I challenge you to do the same Bayway! Oh and the cherry on top…they didn’t even air the tires. What a waste of 2 hours.
