Third time at B Wise for inspections. No appointment, done in an hour like they said. No problem. This time they call to say it fails and start rattling off tire prices on the phone. I said wait a second that tire passes can you show me. He said sure come on down. I should mention I was a mechanic for 30 + years, still have a valid inspectors license and looked at the tires before I got there. First mechanic was very arrogant brought me back said it failed and that was it. Asked second tech to show me where it fails. He pointed and said right there. I said no you need to measure it and he poked it with the depth gauge and said see. I couldn't see so I said may I see the gauge. Said he was busy and I'd have to wait as he walked away. First tech drove by, we went back-and-forth and finally I said I'm an inspector also. He said then why didn't you inspect it yourself. I said I'm not in the business anymore. He said oh there you go and drove away. Third tech came out (older gentleman) was very nice but still said the tire fails. At that point I think he wanted to back out of the situation send me on my way without admitting guilt. Finally he said he'd put it through and it passed. What annoyed me most besides waiting 45 minutes extra in the Sun was. 1- First tech was like a cocky stereotypical fast talking TV mechanic who lied right to my face knowing I knew better 2-very convenient place for inspections and they took my waste oil too but now how can I go there. I'll admit the tire was low on tread but it was above the wear indicators. Wouldn't waste my time trying to push a bad tire through NYSI only to pay twice for inspection and have to buy tires anyway.

Car wash is easy enough to use. U follow the instructions n pull ur car inside building n park it. Car wash then continues to clean car while u stay parked n inside ur vehicle. It takes about 5 minutes or so to do an exceptional job. Very pleased.

Went for an inspection and spark plug change. Brought the spark plugs myself I just didn’t have the tool to take out the old plugs and put the new ones in. Inspection is only $20, but they charged me $150 to replace spark plugs I brought in myself. It literally took the mechanic 10 minutes to put them in, I watched him. So they charged me an hour of labor for 10 minutes…I kept being told “it is what it is there’s nothing I can do” by Loretta at the “courtesy” desk, who was not helpful to the situation at all. No one ever told me what the price was, she only said (after the fact) “there’s a sign over there that says the price”. The sign was in the back corner of the waiting room hidden behind a drink cooler, but I guess maybe it was my fault for not asking in the first place. I asked her to take them out, she said she’ll charge me double. Please go anywhere else for car problems, this place will rob you blind. You’ll be stuck with a bill that’s sky high before you know it. The receipt clearly says “cust supplied spark plugs”…… how could you charge someone that price????

Not the best place for a car wash. Soap was barely spitting out. It misses a lot of cleaning down low and back of car. I think next time I will find a better spot. Vacuums are hit or miss and not a lot of suction.

Literally the worst. the old woman at the counter was rude to me when I asked where to drop my car off. I double checked that I dropped my car off in the right spot, I wait two hours and people who got there after me left before me. I then told her I was going to leave and she said rudely that it is first come first serve and then to pull ahead. I did not and drove away, I’d rather waste the time I spent waiting in that awful little waiting room than to give them any money. There were rat holes in the chip bags for the customers, the techs were hanging around in the empty garage hitting their vape pens doing literally nothing.Every bad stereotype you hear of mechanics is found in this rustic little con shop. Go to ANY other location.

"Mechanics" they hire for oil changes are incompetent. Absolutely destroyed my car after a simple oil change. It wasn't until I junked the car, after it blew every oil seal imaginable and the crankcase breather hose flew off, that I finally checked the Be Wise receipt and saw that they "checked my pcv valve". Well the idiots didn't even put it back the correct way, it's a one way valve. How hard can it be to read the arrow printed on it when you put it back? And what gives them the right to think they're qualified enough to "check it"? Absolutely, 100%, NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.

I went to use the car vac. There were no posted signs that they were not working properly and I inserted $5. The suction was essentially nil. I went to customer service to obtain a refund. The associate said "Oh, are the signs gone again? The machines not working properly. You can't have a refund because the manager is out until Monday". How about someone shut off the vacuums entirely so people don't waste their money?

Place isn't much to look at, but it's a hidden jem! I've only been there for the car wash, and with a human being out there to do the pre-soak, and afterwards a wipe down it is outstanding! Great car wash, and service. Fair price. I go here every time.

Worst carwash of all time. None of the vacumes worked (no signs saying so) and the one that did had barely enough suction to pickup a feather. Went to self wash, and nothing worked on the selected option. Had to set it to dry to get soap, soap for high pressure wash , rinse for air dry (which had less power than a hair dryer) ect. I just gave up and went to somewhere that actually worked.

Bought my car here and my own oil they charge extra for that. Then ask me where my car was after I gave them key. They took it, parked it out back, put it on. Jack stands the tires off. Didn’t charge my oil and still charge me and took my oil. Don’t go here. It’s a joke.

Such a disappointment everything there is out of order and it just reopened. These people cannot get right there. There’s no signs don’t put money in the machine because it won’t give it back or turn it off or put a sign or sell the place to a person who can actually take care of it. I’ve never seen a car wash in such disarray all the time you can tell don’t bring your car there to get fixed because they put Band-Aids on their own stuff to fix it. Would you want to bring your car there?

My family's all around go to shop for oil changes, inspections and light duty car work. I advise showing up when they open on Saturday. You will be in and out quickly. Clean professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Reasonable prices too.

Went for oil change. Asked if they did car repairs they said yes. Told them I am unable to put gas in to the car that the nozzle just keeps clicking off. They told me it was a purge solenoid. I paid for the part. They install the part. I left and tried to put gas in the same problem brought the car back, was informed that they had to get the part from Jeep (same part) they installed that part I left to get gas, had the same problem, brought the car back Somebody went outside to look at my car came back in and said I need a new fuel injector that it broke in the roll over I said, I never had a roll over… my check engine light was never even on. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Refuse to give me my money back for the part that obviously wasn’t broken in the first place. And then try to get me to pay $1400 for a new fuel injector. Greedy, unprofessional, and definitely don’t know what they’re doing I won’t even go there to put air in my tire. Avoid this place like the plague. And as a caveat, the front desk girl started to get loud, I think she thought I might’ve been someone else, but she had the wrong one. It was almost a $300 lesson but lesson learned.

Went to Be Wise because all 4 of my blinkers malfunctioned, and the mechanic explained to me the issue. I went ahead and authorized the work that had to be done to fix it. The nature of the work wasn’t necessarily easy, and the mechanic took his time to ensure it was done properly. The blinkers were back in working order, however after the repair a new minor issue occurred that had to be addressed. They understood the situation, and were able to correct everything as needed. Wanted to shout out Tim the mechanic, I know he did his best. Also The Be Wise staff in general, all were pleasant on my end. While it wasn’t an entirely ideal situation on either end, they made it right. In my book a mechanic shop that is knowledgeable, fair, and meets the customers needs is worthy of business. Happy to have my car back on the road.
