Pulled in as a walk-in with a slow tire leak and they took me right away. The front desk woman went above and beyond even though I forgot her name. They found a tiny piece of metal in the tire that could’ve turned into a much bigger problem, fixed it fast, and didn’t try to upsell me. Fair price, honest work, and great people. This may not be as fun as a restaurant recommendation but I’m giving a thumbs up to Arlington Auto and Tire. I haven’t had mechanical repairs done here, but I’ve purchased tires (multiple times) and their prices are very competitive. I’ve had an all wheel drive alignment, oil changes, and state inspection done a few times. The front desk staff and the people on the crew are very friendly, polite, and have such a nice vibe. Sometimes that just makes all the difference!

Not only did they ruin the rims on my brand new jeep with under 200 miles, they put the wrong tires on, not once, but twice. Almost felt like a bait and switch. Had I not checked what tires they put on my vehicle I would’ve had the wrong ones. Again, they did this two times within 3 days. If it’s not bait and switch then it’s complete incompetence. The biggest Takeaway is that they ruined all of the rims on my brand new Jeep with under 200 miles. It’s not just residue on the rims. The finish is ruined and all rims have to be refurbished now. Stay away from this mess of a business.

I’ve been here a few times now and my most recent visit was disappointing. As I go to check out I ask the guy helping me if they will accept this coupon that they had on their website. He said yes and took my card to charge it. When he came back with my receipt he forgot to give me the discount. When I asked if he forgot to add in the coupon he said yes and that it was too late to adjust the bill or refund me. I find that really hard to believe and that if a business makes a mistake they should fix it. He offered that next time I come in I would get $15 off but this coupon was for $10 off and usually I can use the same/similar coupon every time I get that service. So the $15 off wasn’t a deal at all and more like another rip off. It’s not the biggest deal in the world but like I said if a business makes a mistake they should fix it and not say oh we’ll get you next time. I don’t know if I’ll want to come back again as I don’t want to have this happen again.

ANYTIME I have an issue I know I can call and he’ll help even if what I am saying makes no sense he’s able to understand. I have never felt pushed into anything extra or that I was asking too much, even when I asked to add a last minute service. He’s always right on point with answers and solutions.

Replaced old tires for new on Ford F 1 50 Had standard competent service What stood out was that elderly woman had come in for oil change. In process her battery died. Battery was replaced. This was her first time at the shop. Car would not start. Service people did basics but it was not quick fix. The rep came over to her. We are doing this and that. It will take time. They asked where she lived which was 15 minute drive. Arlington drove her home and expected to work on the problem and return the car to her home. The car owner felt reassured. I don’t know how it worked out. I did feel that the shop went out of the way to deal with the problem and did what could be done to alleviate her distress.

My child is a Marist student, several hours away from home. So when they called because their car was making weird noise. I took it as an opportunity to find a good garage. Luckily I discovered Arlington Auto. Turns out it was a very minor issue and they only charged us the $7.50 to put a new nut on. They completely could have tired taken advantage of the situation. BUT DIDN'T!!!! I'm recommending them to everyone in the Marist University family. (I apologize to Arlington Auto. I actually work on cars and knew exactly what was wrong and could have walked my child through fixing it. I sent my child anyway, in hopes of finding a garage we can trust)

Have VERY mixed feelings about service here. Went in to have a TPMS sensor checked and a New York State Inspection. Was told about a 2 hour wait for an inspection and can do TPMs sensor in meantime. Receptionist was very nice, relearned my TPMS sensors and put air in my tires. Best part no charge! Went back around to the other side and was told was going to again wait another hour and a half to two hours. Explained that had already been there almost two hours and fixed TPMS sensor. Employee kept saying "that is the other side", was not rude or nasty about it other than maybe rolling his eyes. I walked out and will go elsewhere. Again very mixed review, service I got was great, but having to get back in line and start over after pleasant service writer annotated what time I got there for inspection seems wrong.

I recently got a car for the first time and Anthony was super patient and kind and as soon as I informed him something may be wrong with my brakes he had me come in and discovered a leak in my brakeline. Sad to have to write this review. I’ve been a steady customer for years and have always had a positive experience with standard maintenance, however I will not return after my recent experience. Called ahead to ensure they worked with warranty companies, as I wanted to give these guys the work as opposed to the dealer. They confirmed that they do it all the time. To make a long story short, they told me that the work they needed to do was not covered because there was just corrosion on the wires and nothing wrong to the part itself. Paid the insanely high price to have the wires cleaned. Drove off the next day and my check engine light comes back on. Bring it back and turns out the part was bad and that warranty would cover it. They did not refund any money from the initial labor so they were paid by me and by the warranty company for same job. Overall ended up spending $1,300 for something that should have been discovered the first time. Also discovered that they never actually submit the first claim to the warranty company to see if it was covered. Really disappointed with this experience and will not return and certainly will not refer my friends and family as I have for years.

Update: I had a great experience getting my car inspected by Anthony at Arlington Tire. He really pays attention to detail and made sure everything was checked thoroughly. What stood out the most was how communicative he was throughout the process—he explained things clearly and kept me informed the whole time. It’s nice to deal with someone who is both professional and genuinely cares about doing the job right. Highly recommend Anthony if you need an inspection done! I will only come to Anthony. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience with Anthony! He installed four new tires on my car and did an amazing job from start to finish. He was on time, professional, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He took the time to explain everything, made sure the tires were balanced perfectly, and double-checked that everything was safe before I left. The car drives smoother than it has in a long time, and I can already feel the difference. On top of that, Anthony was super friendly and easy to talk to — you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. Disappointed. The receptionist who answers the phone and orders tires is super pleasant and helpful. We just bought our 2nd and 3rd full sets of truck tires from them (over $2500 in a month) and the tires are done correctly and priced fairly. However, $143 cash was stolen out of my son's truck while it was being serviced. The manager on duty reviewed the video and clearly sees an employee enter the truck then leave with b something and go to his own personal vehicle in their parking lot. That manager acknowledged what had happened and said he'd run it past higher management and refund the money that was stolen. The next week we got a call from a different manager (Moose) saying that they'd filed a police report and they no longer intended to return the stolen money. Tough lesson to learn for my son who earned that money bussing tables. Tough lesson to learn for me, that what appeared to be excellent customer service was in fact only lip service for a business that doesn't value honesty or integrity. They've lost a whole family of previously loyal customers and automatic recommendations. We're very disappointed.

I am submitting this review to share my experience with the customer service I received during a recent vehicle inspection. While I understand that vehicles can fail inspection, the way the service was handled was unprofessional and unclear. The inspection results were not explained in a helpful or transparent manner, and I felt confused and pressured rather than properly informed. I was not shown clear evidence or given a walkthrough of the issues found, and the interaction left me feeling dissatisfied with the overall service experience. I am sharing this to document my experience and encourage better communication and customer service going forward.

I've been here twice. First time was for a rotation and inspection. They took two hours to do a tire rotation, and then said they didn't do the inspection because it wasn't due for another month. Which sucked because it was the only free afternoon I had for the foreseeable future. Today, I made an appointment for front brake job. Sat in the lobby for two and a half hours, walked up to the desk to ask the status, they said they hadn't even brought it in yet because another job got delayed, but they'd bring it in now. So I asked them to call me when the service was done, and left to get dinner. Came back another two hours later, and saw my car still where I had parked it. Asked the front desk again and was told the technician was finishing up another job and then they'd take me. I asked for my keys and left. They do fine work when they get around to it, but they do not respect your time and WILL NOT call you to update when anything goes differently than expected.

I highly recommend this auto repair shop! I’ve brought my Porsche Macan here multiple times and they always deliver excellent service. They recently fixed a gasket leak for me, replaced my wheel bearing, and they handle all my oil changes as well. I also just purchased brand-new winter tires from them and the difference is incredible. I feel so much safer driving now. They even helped me with a rebate, and everything was explained clearly and professionally. Keeping me in Boss mode when I have a car that functions without headache. 👩🏻💼 The front desk team is always kind and helpful, but I especially want to recognize Dominique, who is my main contact whenever I have an issue with my car. Porsches are not easy to work on, and I’m truly grateful to have a shop that knows how to handle foreign cars the right way. Dominique always takes the time to explain things, keeps me updated, and makes sure everything is done correctly. I’m extremely satisfied with their professionalism, expertise, and customer care. Definitely a 5-star experience every time!
