Had a transmission replaced...speedometer stopped working and messed up trans..art fixed it on his dime. No questions asked. Had an input shaft break, same thing he fixed on his dime no questions asked. He's done a few clutches also..very fair. Stands behind his work. Hard to find business owners that do the right thing, but you'll absolutely find that here.

Do not use this shop at all costs, 2 times I had to have it towed back after they worked on my truck, once costing me over 400. They used my truck for I do not know what leaving food rappers and no gas. Had to take it to another transmission shop they flushed the cooler and I have not had a problem since. NEVER send anything to these people

I had a 2001 ranger transmission rebuilt by Art and his gang, just a couple months ago. My opinion, he takes care of all his customers. He saved me some money, for sure, He says exactly what he will do and i trusted him. He said what i wanted to hear, what the problem was, how long it would take and the "cost" which was the "best price" any where in my area! I am not a relative, nor was i a friend, till i brought my truck to his shop. He gives no "BS" i was happy with his work and you will be to.

The best transmission shop around. Absolutely the best workmanship of any place I have brought my car. The owner makes good on any problem that you have without question. The work has always been completed in a timely manner. And he does full automotive repair including alignments, he does not advertise that he does other work because he doesn't want to step on the toes of other local repair shops but if you already have your car there and you need some other work done his capable staff will be more than happy to do it for you.

Last year we had a transmission issue with our Subaru and our mechanic said it would cost around 3K but referred us to Consumer Transmission. Job was completed for a third the price. Leaving Fla this spring and going to flat tow our Jeep Grand Cherokee and couldn’t get the transmission in neutral for towing. Fla jeep dealer estimated it would cost over 5k. Jeep was drivable so I drove it home and straight to Consumer. Job successfully completed for a fifth what I was quoted in Fla. I highly recommend Gary and his crew!!! They are 2 for 2 in my book!!!

Consumer transmission came highly recommended. However, the owner Art fell very short. He strung us along for 2 months telling us he just needed to free some space up and reassured us he would get us in. We run a business and are on a time schedule and unfortunately he’s one of few who can accommodate our truck size. After stringing us along for 2 months he now won’t even answer the phone calls. Thanks for wasting our time Art. -Chris In respond to your comment, yes you scanned our truck and sent us away with a fuel line issue and MULTIPLE transmission codes. Another shop corrected the fuel issue and I even had that mechanic call you and ask why you included the transmission codes because that’s your job. Your nonsense excuses are poor. We called and called no answer, then called you from you another number and miraculously you answered. You should’ve just been straightforward from the get-go. If you didn’t want to take the job say so instead of stringing someone along and wasting our valuable time. You’re running a business and so are we. Your customer service is poor at best.
