I had a timing chain issue with my Rover and I brought it to Brett, they “repaired” it and two weeks later the engine is blown to shit because the “tensioner” failed. They agreed to rebuild my engine. They later changed their mind and refunded me for the timing chain and refused to make the repairs. Take your vehicle to Land Rover dealer, there’s guys are all about the money and no integrity.

been a client for years never questioned their integrity until now ,, brought the car for oil service (2024 11,000 miles) the service adviser told me i need a new brakes .11000 miles !! i refused the repair took it the local dealer for inspection, they inspected the car and said :brakes still have over 50% left no need to change "went back and show the report to the owner he didn't care much and responded "lets agree to disagree " well they lost me and 6 of my friends i recommended as clients .

My experience with Bear Valley Service on my Land Rover Range Rover Sport was absolutely PERFECT. Matt is kind and professional and fit me in for service almost immediately. I appreciate how thorough and precise the team is, along with transparent and constant communication with Matt throughout the entire process. My only regret is that I had not found them sooner, as the cost for service is substantially less than that of the dealership. Can't speak to the vehicle service but I can tell you the customer service needs an overhaul. After driving an hour I was told they 'don't work on vehicles older than '06, sorry'. I thought he was joking. No one thought to tell me this when I provided all the information on the phone to make the appointment? Even when I specifically said 'I don't have my top on would you be able to keep it indoors?' - that wasn't a red flag that maybe this thing is older than an '06? You don't think you should put this info on your website? It literally isn't on there. They were recommended by other NAS D90 owners but I sure as hell won't be recommending them. The whole experience left just a completely sour taste in my mouth.

I have been a client of Bear Valley Service for nearly 8 years. I've referred hundreds of fellow Land Rover owners to this shop. Today, the shop let me down and jeopardized my life and my safety. I had a repair done which included the replacement of valve cover gaskets, spark plug tube seals and brake vacuum pump. I paid the shop $3646.79 for the work. I had to take an uber to pick up the SUV at $47 from where I work to get there. I picked up the vehicle and headed south on 400 back to Buckhead. All of a sudden the vehicle dropped and the message "restricted function" came on. The car slowed and I started to get over to the shoulder as best I could... luckily I was able to get to the exit and get off the interstate. I contacted the team and they said turn it off and restart it. I did and it continued to act up and cut off. The dashboard lit up. I coasted into an adjacent parking lot and called the team. They told me to have it towed in. I called for my roadside and it told me it would be an hour to 2 hours. I called the team back and asked for a tow recommendation. The tow company they gave was also the same time. I then googled and found a tow and called the team to let them know I was bringing it back. When I arrived, the team met us and paid the tow truck... which I appreciated and then they rushed the SUV to the back. About 20 minutes later they said they identified the problem immediately and that they had not tightened some of the spark plugs back in which caused one side of them to not be firing currently, thus causing the engine not to function properly. They then test drove again and put me on the road. They did not credit any of the money I paid and said they'd make it up on my next service. The problem is, now I don't trust them. IF I had been in their shoes, I would have gotten in the car with a tech and come and found me to see if they could fix the issue from where I was at and I definitely would have credited the labor back since it is clear it was a human error and it also showed they did not test drive the vehicle fully after such a major repair before giving the vehicle back to me. I really have always had great respect for the team at Bear Valley, but I just could not go without sharing this experience. Had I not thought fast, I could have been hit on 400 with cars behind me at a high speed. I don't know that I'll be back to the shop again.

I’ve moved, but I’d be so happy if I could pick up Bear Valley and put it near Buford. I called about my 2024 Range Rover, and they gave me quick, helpful advice. I knew exactly what to do and who to call. Out of the five people I contacted, they were the only ones honest enough to tell me. I’ve had a Range Rover for the past five years and always used them, so it’s been an adjustment to find someone closer who matches their level of service and I haven’t found that yet.
