Overall, they worked hard to fix the issue. They did the exhaust manifold gaskets on my F150. These are an absolute pain to do, and my tech Fernando had to deal with MANY sheered bolts. The service started out as just the gaskets for $300 parts and labor, then Fernando said BOTH Manifolds were rusted, and needed replacement along with the PVC pipe and valve. New repair, $800 all in, we settled on 700. I figured hey, two new manifolds, pcv ect… might as well get it done right now and just pay the money. They did fix my issue, but they missed the mark on two areas and it’s the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars. I was told very clearly over the phone that BOTH manifolds would be replaced… however, when I got there they had replaced one and cleaned and spray painted the other… lol. I could tell right away that it was the old one. He said it was good enough to be reused. The issue is I was very clearly told that both would be replaced. This was confusing and I wish they would have done exactly what they said, too me, this feels like they cut a corner to save a few dollars. Second. Fernando charged me an additional $50 for the PCV even though that was part of the service quote originally. I honestly didn’t feel like arguing and just paid it. $750 all in. All in all, after I got some time to reflect on it, I think next time I would probably try a different shop. They did the job, but now I have one rusty spray painted manifold and one brand new one… I just wanted exactly what I was told, that’s all. Next time, I would pay a little more and go to a shop that would do it 100 percent as promised. I appreciate the fact that they took on a very very difficult job at a decent price… but I didn’t get what I was told, and that’s not ok. If they reach out and resolve this I would change my rating.

I have used Ben's for so many years I highly recommend this place. He can give you a full warranty and quality work. I trust them with all my automotive needs. I have had so many issues and brought them to Ben's and he has fixed every single one. I have been bringing my cars here for over 10 years. When you find a good mechanic you stick with them. I'm sticking with Ben.
