I didn’t even have a experience yet because the hours for Saturday are wrong. Pulled up at 8:08am and closed when it says 8-2. I didn’t want to go to Brake Masters because I would rather support local businesses. Not sure if it’s because it’s the 4th of July weekend.

An okay place for small maintenance but don't let him do anything major! He replaced my timing belt once and when I picked up the car it was "singing". I told him it that meant it was too tight and he started arguing with me saying it would stretch and that he did not need to fix it. My girl drove it for months and it never quited down, "singing" just as loud as the day I picked it up. We gave it to her daughter 13 months later and on her way home to Oregon the car broke down. We had it towed to a shop near them and guess what they found, a broken timing belt. This time it took out the valves and a perfectly good car was now dead. Bernie, bad mechanic and horrible customer service! Stick to oil changes.

Quality work without the inflated prices! The owner and his son are very honest, clean, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They never try to push extra sales on you, and they make very honest recommendations. Free inspections are a plus. I don’t trust anyone else with my car. I’m a loyal customer for life!

My car basically broke down while I was passing through Las Cruces because the fan belt came off. Thankfully, Bernie agreed to work on it when I called his shop early the next morning. He's a nice guy, straight to the point, he got me back up and running quickly! He was also quick to address my concerns and answer questions I had. Seems very knowledgable with auto repair, would definitely go back to him if I needed work done and was in the area. Thanks Bernie!

My wife and I were on my way home to South Carolina from Arizona when I heard a noise in my car. Being an auto mechanic myself, I knew it was a hub bearing going bad and that if I didn't get it fixed we would break down on the road. We were staying overnight in Las Cruces so I looked for a place to hopefully get it repaired in the morning. I went to Bernie's at 7:45, explained my story and the car was on the lift being repaired 10 minutes later. I couldn't have expected better service if I had been a lifelong customer. I was done before 9AM and the price was exactly what I expected. A perfectly professional job at the right price. You can't ask for anything more.

Decided to go with this local small business to get my oil changed and brakes done due to the fact my mother took her car in a month before and they were honest with her and didn’t try to sell her something she didn’t need. I had gone to another shop repeatedly for an issue with my brakes and parking brake. They never fixed it right, but to their credit, tried to make it right on 2 separate occasions. Then I remembered Bernie, his shop has been in business for years but I thought maybe he closed because it used to be called Brakes Plus. Bernie did it right the first time and alerted me to tread wear on my tires without being sales-y.. Price was great too! I highly recommend. I had him service vehicles way before internet reviews, so I’m pleased to write this one. Bernie is one of the good guys!

Me and my friend took her truck there because it was acting up it didn't have power and so they changed the coils and the spark plugs and it was worse and they charged her over $200 she took it back they said there was nothing they could do about it that it's got some other problem. I definitely would not take my own car in there nor should anybody else because they don't back up their word. She's going to go back again tomorrow and see if they will give her a refund at least half of it I doubt very seriously they will
