What a joke. They have had my car for 10 and a half weeks for a minor fender bender. Not to mention, when I called to book the repair, they booked me a month and a half out so they could order all parts needed.. I was told by the insurance Adjuster it should take a week to a week and a half and was told by Bert Smith it would be 3 to 3 and a half weeks. That all parts needed have been received. They claimed they would keep me posted as to progress weekly. Communication at best has been every 2 weeks or so and their claim is they are waiting on Vin stickers required by law. Seriously in 4 plus months you're not able to get stickers??? Unbelievable!!! Beyond frustrated at this point.

Zero communication. My car has been sitting in their lot for 30+ days and I have received zero communication on the status of my car. I have had to call to attempt to get answers and that hasn’t gotten me anywhere either. What happened to some sort of costumer service? It seems all they want to do is play games with customers and insurance companies. Run away from this place!!

2 years ago had $15,000 worth of damage. Everything was fixed well with no problems. Friendly staff. It took a long time to get parts in 2021 and my insurance would no longer pay for my rental car and they loaned me car. Thank you so much for treating my like family!

Took 3 months of dealing with this shop just for them to tell me that my car is totaled. Could have figured this out 3 months ago but all I received were excuses and zero communication. Constantly had to call for updates, never received a call back when I requested one. Avoid this shop unless you want a major headache.

Run in the opposite direction! If you think you were taking your pristine BMW to the best of the best for body repair, you are thinking wrong… Don’t make the mistake I made. I sold my pristine BMW M5 2000 on bring a trailer.com for $35,000. I had not driven her in some time and I was expecting the new owner to fly in from Dallas two days after the auction end date to pick her up so I took her to the grocery store and parked way out in the far right corner the parking lot where no one was parking. While loading groceries in the driver side rear door all of a sudden, an elderly lady slammed into my door, nearly breaking it off and missing me by 3 inches. Apparently, she had a “panic attack“. I took her to Bert Smith and after three weeks of having the car I followed up with an email asking on the progress as insurance only pays for four weeks of rental car coverage. I was told “we forgot to order the door“. No apologies… I asked for a loaner and was never responded to. Two months later, I finally got the final product back. The rear driver side door, stuck out a quarter of an inch more than the other doors and was raised a quarter of an inch more than the other doors. I was told “that’s the best we can do“. I immediately listed the car for sale back on the original website of bring a trailer.com and I sold it for $29,000. Needless to say I lost over $5500 on the car as a result of the crappy workmanship done by Bert Smith. If you think you were taking your pristine German vehicle to the best of the best in Saint Petersburg, you were wrong. Run in the opposite direction. Check out my reviews. I leave very few bad reviews. 90% of them are all positive.

this body shop has had my vehicle since oct 10th, it is now monday january 20th. about 100 days! i have had nothing but false hopes and pretenses placed upon me since the beginning of December. Had a limb fall on the passenger rear pillar and break the back glass during Hurricane Milton, fully covered through insurance. pics for reference. i have physically travelled to the shop after being told my car would be ready for FOUR CONSECUTIVE mondays as of today and once again today i was told "come back later this week" which means on friday they'll tell me it's still not done and to check back on monday. and the cycle will probably begin again. last week clayton told me someone LOST a trim piece to my trunk (he doesn't know if someone set it down and it got thrown away or what happened to it) and we had to wait a week for that to come in. i'm in a constant hell cycle with the horrible communication between the shop/insurance, somehow worse communication between shop/customer, worst of all ZERO communication between the techs working on the vehicles and the men in front of the desks doing paperwork. if it weren't for me calling and physically going to the shop to check on the progress the last month and a half i'm almost certain i would NOT have heard a peep from them in the form of a phone call/text/email. still waiting to see the final results, certainly worried.

The collision center took way too long to complete my car... 10 weeks! There was a lack of communication, and I had to call weekly, to see where it was standing. If they tell you something will be done the next day, they really mean several days. I told them I was going on vacation for a week and when I came back the car had not been touched during those days. Upon completion, we discovered that the wrong clips were used and many of them were missing it was quicker for my husband just to order them directly from Suharu and he replaced them himself! I do have one great thing to say though... the guy that paints did a perfect job! The paint is immaculate!! Thank you!

CLAYTON is a superstar in collision management. He set my appointment and got me in on time with an accurate estimate. He explained everything and answered my questions. He oriented me to the rental car company. My car was originally set to be ready on a Monday. He was able to have his hard crew to have it on Friday by close of business. I asked if he could have it by 1. And the car was ready. Thank you CLAYTON and all the repair crew. Sorry I don't know everyone's name. Thank you.
