⭐ 0/5 – THIS PLACE RUINED MY LIFE ⭐ If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I took my car in for a simple oil change, and somehow, they managed to set my windshield wipers on fire. When I asked how that was even possible, the mechanic just shrugged and said, “That’s just how it be sometimes.” After waiting six hours in their crusty lobby (which smelled like burnt rubber and broken dreams), they finally told me my car was “ready.” I walked outside, and not only was my car still on the lift, but it was also missing three of its tires. When I asked where my wheels went, the manager handed me a Lime scooter and a $5 coupon for my “inconvenience.” By the time I left, my check engine light was on, my radio only played Drake’s sad songs on shuffle, and for some reason, my horn made the exact same sound as a voice crack mid-“Started From the Bottom.” This place is cursed. Would not recommend unless you enjoy trauma and financial ruin.

Avoid Adams Auto Sales & Bhatti Group Garage at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. Adams Auto Sales in Rensselaer, NY, and their affiliated repair shop, Bhatti Group Garage, are deceptive, dishonest, and completely untrustworthy. I purchased a 2011 Audi Q5 from Adams Auto Sales on March 28, 2025, only to quickly realize they had lied about the vehicle's condition and manipulated inspection results to cover up serious defects. 🚨 Here’s what happened: They sold me a vehicle with a leaking oil pan, deliberately patched up with silicone to hide the issue. When confronted, their garage botched the repair, making the leak worse, and then had the audacity to claim they had "fixed it"—even though I had proof they hadn’t. They cut the brake pad sensor wire to pass inspection fraudulently, meaning I was unknowingly driving an unsafe vehicle. Instead of addressing the problems, they refused to let me go elsewhere for repairs, shouted at me, and treated me like the problem instead of fixing their mistakes. When I took the car to Audi Albany, their technicians confirmed everything Adams Auto Sales and Bhatti Group Garage had covered up—incorrect oil pan installation, fraudulent inspection tactics, and blatant negligence. 💀 DO NOT buy a car from Adams Auto Sales. DO NOT trust Bhatti Group Garage. They will lie, manipulate, and refuse to take responsibility for their shady practices. If you're thinking about doing business with them—run in the opposite direction.

Very good experience with this place. 10/10 My car needed new shocks and struts after hitting a pothole. The shop I went to, Firestone, did not properly install them and when I went back to them, they overlooked the problem and insisted on me getting new ball joints put in for almost $500 after already spending $1600 with them. After that, I went to Bhatti Group asking for new ball joints because their prices were great. They took a look and said I did not need new ball joints, the struts were just improperly installed causing a really bad squeaking sound every time I went over a bump. They were very honest and respectful. I really appreciate their honesty because they did not charge me for something I didn’t even need. I will go to them for future car problems for sure! Thanks to them I was able to get a refund at the other place!! Thank you!!!!

This place was amazing!! I had an extremely rare issue with my vehicle. And everyone else turned me away or could not fix it. So I came here, and they immediately took me in and fixed it right away. The only concern is pricing, I had a spring replacement on the inside of the console area. The part was $50.00. I ended up paying $375.00 just to have it fixed. So, $325.00 for labor?

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Shop! I took my car to this mechanic shop hoping to get a simple repair done, but I ended up with nothing but frustration. First off, they took way longer than promised—what should’ve been a one-day fix turned into a week of waiting with no updates unless I called them first. When I finally got my car back, not only did they not fix the original issue properly, but I also found new problems. It was clear that the work wasn’t done right, and to make matters worse, the staff was rude and dismissive when I pointed it out. They acted like I was the one causing the problem! I had to take my car to another shop to get the job done right, and they found several mistakes made by these guys. Don’t waste your time or money here. There’s no accountability, and they clearly don’t care about their customers. Would not recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find a more reliable mechanic.

A terrible neighbor. This shop frequently has vehicles lingering in the lot and on Catherine st that come and go with neighborhood-rattling loud stereo systems. They keep underfed and aggressive German Shepherds on the property that bark at every passerby through the chain-link fence at all hours, in all weather (even during the dead of winter). The street in front of their lot is frequently home to damaged vehicles that they let sit for weeks, regardless of the street signs. They recently started selling used cars, which causes an already overly-busy side street to become a minefield of speeding cars vs window-shoppers slowing down to look through the fence at what's for sale. Also, noticed they basically only respond to reviews calling them fake because they looked the name up in their customer database. Who would leace a review with their real name when it's clear they'd blacklist or otherwise harass you.

Horrible place to do business. Went in to get Tire pressure sensors installed, charged to program them, was told the light will go away on its own. Light never went away. Returned a few days later and they told me they can’t do nothing for me, pleaded with the guy to at least take them off so I can return them he refused. This is what happens when you bring your own parts to these shops. Waste of money.
