My husband and I are from out of state. We have a Ford 250 that would not start when we were in Historic downtown Abilene. This shop was less than a mile from where we were stranded. Tow truck took us to their shop and 4 guys immediately came out to look at the truck! The starter was repaired in less than an hour and I can’t say enough nice things about the owner’s son and their technician that did the repair. Thank you!!!

These guys knocked it out of the park with my OBS 7.3. They did a T4 turbo kit with Intercooler, adrenaline hpop, fuel bowl delete and electronic fuel system and lastly new cab bushings. Kept me up to date step by step. When I got it back out of the shop I didn’t have to go back and fix anything they did or find anything loose. This is huge to me because I am a mechanic as well. Thank you guys!

Extremely dissatisfied with big country diesel performance! Took almost 2 weeks for them to "diagnose" my obs 97 f350 7.3. Mind you when I dropped my truck off my truck started just fine, it ran and drove but just started having an issue. I get it picked up by a tow truck and now my truck won't start, the bolts to the valve cover are missing, the vacuum line has been cut, the batteries are drained and completely dead and not even the batteries that were on it, there is a massive amount of oil all over the underside of the hood and all over the engine, the brand new cold air intake that was put on it a week before it went to the shop is completely ruined and tore up, there's wires on wiring harness that look to have been pulled out, and not only that but the soft leather handle part of the driver side door has been ripped off. After almost 2 months of waiting and being told by Josh that it needs a new motor for the last year since the first time he did any work to it this is how my truck was left for me to pick up. And that's just at first glance look after getting it picked up by a tow truck. Completely completely unsatisfied that he would tear my truck up like that and not return it to me the way it was when I dropped it off. Definitely not a trust worthy mechanic at all. I will never take my truck to him ever again nor do I suggest anyone to take theirs to him. I am getting a certified diesel mechanic to come look at it and to document everything that is missing, broken, cut, and damaged on the motor. I am beyond upset with him and his customer service.

Josh the owner of Big Country Diesel Performance did an outstanding job with our 99 Dodge. After we took it to a quick lube company for a routine oil change which led to a burned up lift pump due to the techs inability to prime it properly. While it was at the shop Josh was able to replace the fan clutch that was going out. This saved us a possible catastrophic event as we are soon to travel across country pulling our RV. His prices were great and his service and honesty were priceless. We highly recommend anyone needing their diesel vehicle serviced to give him a call.

I had wheel bearing going out on my truck and took it to Firestone and they said nothing was wrong. Took truck to Big Country Desiel Performance and Josh confirmed the bearings were going out. The hub was super rusty from Ohio snow treatments. Wheel was difficult to spin freely. Josh fixed it fast and truck is back on the road. I recommend his shop over Firestone. I will be using Josh for both my trucks from here on out.
