Came in with a nail in my tire, and thought it would be a simple patch job. They go on to say it’s “inside the tread” and if they removed the nail to patch it, I’d have a flat within the hour. Tried to get me to buy 2 new tires since the ones I had were discontinued. Took it to my boyfriend’s dad (who does not do this for a living) and he was able to remove the nail and patch it within 30 minutes and it is holding up just fine. Taking advantage of people is gross, will not be back.

I ordered some BF Goodrich’s here and showed up for 8am appointment. They got all four tires mounted and balanced and I was out the door by 8:40am. These guys are fast and will inform you of any other components that are due for replacement. Great service.

Watch out for the predatory lease agreements they try and tell you are finance agreements. Also they had to try and fix squealing with brakes but could not provide an explanation for the squealing and it was never truly solved. Not to mention the mix up of paperwork/online files leading to them being rude to my partner when they tried to explain that they were wrong. Avoid this place like the plague if you need sudden work because they will try and take advantage of you with their rent a center ‘financing’.

Just go somewhere else. Alignment shops are a dime a dozen. These guys have 0 clue what they are doing on cars. Had to go back 5 times because they messed up when they could of done it right the first time. Didn't properly torque my wheels down so my wheels fell off the car. I smell a Lawsuit

Mel and Max steered me to the best tires for my driving habits. I was looking for all season tires that are rated well for snow, wet and dry weather. The techs in this shop could really use an attitude adjustment and some corporate training on basic customer service. The first person I talked to that sold me tires confirmed a sale price for a promo, but then tried to over charge me $30 per tire when he quoted me for the full service. He acted like I was wrong about the price even though he had confirmed it with me just minutes before... Then I found out than an appointment is essentially meaningless and only serves to speed up the process of typing your info into their system. They also had an attitude about that and I was pretty rudely informed that this is a "first come first serve" shop. Then another tech tried to sell me a front brake job and had some smart ass comment to make after I declined that additional service. All in all, my experience in this place was about what you'd expect from people earning low hourly wages that hate their job and take it out on their customers. Skip the big box and go to a mom and pop store, you'll certainly be treated with more respect.

Just had to post a great review for Mel at Big O Tires at Grape and Colfax. I called to find out if I could get help with a tire that I thought had a nail on in. The tire sensor light hadn’t gone off for 2 days. I spoke by phone with Mel who told me to bring it in and he would do what he could on the eve of our first real snow. Wow! First of all, Mel is so polite! That always catches me off guard. Secondly, he didn’t promise anything but came out, checked the car over and pointed out the possible culprit…not a nail, but ongoing overnight cold and low pressure in the tires. Finally, he gave suggestions for the next 24-36 hours just in case recalibrating the tire pressure did not work. I only spent 15-20 at the shop, but I was treated like a regular. If I lived on this side of town, I’d support Mel and his shop routinely.

I’ve been using big O for years. I just moved up to Denver from the Colorado Springs area and decided to try out this spot. Ken and his team took such great care of me and my car. I ended up waiting for my vehicle, and they gave me great recommendations for lunch and places to go hang out while they put new brakes and tires on my car. The whole process was so easy and all my questions were answered. I used to work in this industry, and I have a lot of respect for the time and effort it takes to really take care of people and their vehicles. But to go above and beyond and make sure that my day went well, just shows how great these people are. I think I found my new shop.

Max was great. Called after 4:30 in the afternoon after returning home from a trip to find car with neatly-flat tire in the garage. He encouraged me to drive to the shop slowly - which I did - and it was quickly found there was a screw in the tire. Thirty minutes later drove away with a repaired tire and happy to have found such great service so close to my home!

I’ve used Mel and the people at Big O on Colfax for years. They are very fairly priced and stand behind all of their products with a warranty they will follow through on. I use them for all of my company trucks as well. Great atmosphere as well. Highly recommended!

Service was good. The price was not. They charged me $170 for a simple seasonal all season to winter swap without alignment. I do not recommend going here until they change their prices unless you have their deal where you have their wheels / tires. Seems like punishing people for bringing them business.

I came in for new tires. Max was supposed to call and let me know if an alignment was as needed. Instead he did an alignment without my approval. He called about needing another repair, which I declined and then hung on me mid-sentence. When I asked him why he hung up on me and did the alignment without my permission, he was dismissive and said there is no manager or person to contact. He said “leave a Google review.” WOW! When I pushed, gave an owners card. Whatever is happening here is super toxic.

I went to Big O to get my oil changed and tires rotated. I drive a 2010 Highlander. I received a call about 40 minutes after dropping it off informing me that my brakes pads were down to 4%, my rotors were shot and my shocks and struts were no good. The technician tried to scare me saying that vehicle is unsafe to drive but they will replace it and beat anyone’s price. I maintain my vehicle well, knew how much brake pads I should have. I said I’m going to get a second opinion from my normal mechanic Affordable Toyota and Lexus Repair (ATLR). They looked at it sent me pictures that my brakes pads are around 40% and my rotors are fine. They also told me my shocks and struts are fine and no seepage. I am flabbergasted by the dishonest service Big O provided. They have lost my trust and I will not go back or recommend them to anyone. Have some integrity Big O

I had my summer tires swapped out for winter tires. The process was overall fairly smooth and they even gave me a relatively okay price to replace two studs that had been damaged. However, some parts of the service were less than ideal. My right rear wheel finish was slightly damaged, all of the wheels are scuffed near the lug nuts, they left tire lubricant/bead sealer all over the wheels, and they left the old adhesive from the weights they removed on the wheels. Cleaning those is just a professional touch that should be done. As for the damages on the wheels, they're relatively minor but still frustrating.
