I've had a few trucks in here for new exhaust, I've always been happy with the results. All of my trucks are pretty simple older trucks & I'd had a hard time finding a place to just put regular quiet exhaust w/o a bunch of bells, whistles, gimmicks & chrome fart pipe tips & a stupid price to match. I've seen hot rods, sports cars & race cars come out w/spiffy looking/sounding exhaust so apparently they do that too, it's just nice to find a place that'll do regular budget jobs too.

There are not enough kind words to say about this amazing shop. After a rough day of stressing an automotive repair, I picked my car up from the shop with a newly diagnosed issue that would need to be addressed. My dad recommended we swing by bills just to talk with someone about the new issue. I didn't catch their names, but 1 gentleman met us in the parking lot (with no appointment) pulled the car in and started taking a look. We explained the issue and they got work looking at the possible problem. After discovering a weak weld point, they patched up the problem, and everything was handled that quickly. They were truly amazing and I am so very grateful. I can not say thank you enough for the kindness to work my car in and help me feel a little less stressed.

Excellent group of people here. Went in because I needed my exhaust modified and my dad had said they did a good job on his exhaust a long time ago. Still doing good work today. Took my exhaust piece in the day before so they could get a look at it and they made me a appt for the next day. Showed up, got the work done, and was outta there in no time. Their guys were even generous enough to help me push the car back onto the trailer. Overall great business experience and will be back for more

I had an exhaust hanging down and it was a bit scary. They were able to look at it and quickly give me an assessment. They got it fixed rather quickly and I was back on the road. Highly recommend!!

I’d gone to Bill’s American Muffler for over 20 years, however now under new management is a different story. Made my appointment a week in advance to install a new Flowmaster on my new truck. Arrived on time from 30 miles away and was told there were no welders and they were short staffed, job was completed by the lone manager or owner not sure. Now after a few months all the welds are coming apart, I’ll not be going back for poor workmanship and poor communication.

Another great “mom and pop” shop lost! Used to be a place I could count on. After today’s encounter I won’t be back! High prices and terrible attitude when I declined service by “supervisor,” talked to the owner, he didn’t seem to care much about the situation either.

God is good for sure with this amazing community. They let me look and examine just what was the cause and root of the issue and best thing was , it was a quick clean weld fix , even got more knowledge on my car as well.🤘🏽 I am extremely grateful and I recommend this company to each and every person in the city! God bless 🙏🏽

I went to Bill’s American Muffler on South Seneca first thing this morning, right at 8 a.m., and they greeted me at the door with a smile. They were recommended by Hatchett GMC, where I service my truck, and I’m so glad I took their advice. I love my truck, but I’ll admit I don’t know much about fixing or maintaining it myself, so I rely on honest professionals. They told me it would take about 30 minutes to complete the job — which already impressed me — and just a few minutes later, a young man came in and asked what I was hearing. I told him I wasn’t hearing anything, just noticed what looked like the bottom of my muffler rusting out. He explained it was actually a weep hole, designed to let moisture out, and that everything underneath was perfectly solid. I couldn’t believe it — instead of selling me something I didn’t need, they told me the truth. In today’s world, that kind of honesty is rare. The gentleman who greeted me (who I think was the owner) told me he “answers to Jesus,” and I could tell he meant it. What a genuinely kind and honest person. The young man brought my truck back around, I thanked him too, and left feeling so impressed and grateful. It’s refreshing to know there are still honest businesses out there. I’ll be telling everyone I know about Bill’s American Muffler — they’ve earned my trust and my business for life. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Being a female, I always have that fear that when I take my car into an auto shop, they're gonna try to tell me more, is wrong with my vehicle then what really is. That is not the case at this time of this shop, walking in I knew I was in great hands, the shop smelt really good (not your typical shop smell), they took the time to show me what was wrong and explained it to me in a way I would understand and I paid WAY less then I expected too. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and if I have any other issues I would go back. I ended up needing my bracket welded back on along the muffler is all I needed, they could of told me I needed much more then that and believed them so I am thankful for that. Also I got in and out faster then what I would for even an oil change! Thank you agian you guys are amazing.

I went in to get an estimate on finishing out my axle back tried to explain to the owner that it already had a y pipe in it so there wouldn’t be much work to be done and he said that they would have to put in two new S curves one for each side costing $120 apiece after excusing him himself from our conversation two separate times and cutting me off answering the phone. Then when I realized he didn’t understand what I meant by my car already has a y pipe installed and it would essentially just need a 90° bend on each side a single straight pipe to the bumper I asked if he’d be willing to take a glance at it and give me an rough quote he then refused and said the customers don’t understand what all has to be done. I’ve been in and around fabricators and shops plenty of times to know if he would have had an actual look at what I was referring to it wouldn’t have been nearly as much work as he thought.
