I was in your store last Friday. There is a female that the store named Mary that needs to learn about customer service. She has been a problem in that store for years. It's time to retire her. I went back to the store two days later to talk to a manager. They were not much help. I had to think about what to do about Mary at the door. I will be going to another store from now on. I have a right not to be handled with disrespect.

I ordered a sheet cake from the bakery at BJ’s the week of June 9, 2025. I selected a style and put that style number on my order form. I documented the color of letters and trim I wanted on the cake. Also, I selected yellow for yellow cake. On June 14, 2025, I arrived to pick up my cake and the first thing I noticed was it wasn’t the style number I selected that was identified on my form, FIRST PROBLEM! The letters on my cake were pink and NOT white as I requested. This was the SECOND PROBLEM! The letters weren’t positioned where I requested them to be positioned. This was the THIRD PROBLEM! By the time I got to my event and I cut the cake, it was a marble cake (chocolate mix), which was NOT what I ordered. This was my FOURTH PROBLEM! My advice to you is if you order cake from BJ’s bakery department, you order AT YOUR OWN RISK! Clearly, there is a COMPREHENSION PROBLEM with staff reading their own form and following instructions. Respectfully, Dissatisfied Customer! 😡

It took me a couple of days to process that this store is not disabled-friendly. In fact, this store is only good for one thing: gas. If you're looking for customer service, expect none. I struggled on several occasions in this store on Thursday night while the customer service representative just watched. A fellow customer had to help me get a riding cart because the representative didn't inform me that their carts required a key. When I got to the self-checkout register, as no cashiers were available, the same customer service representative just stood there and let me struggle. In the end, I left my cart of groceries in the self-checkout line and went to Giant Food, which was more than willing to accept my money. I will not be renewing my membership for an organization that is not disabled-friendly.

No cashiers have to wait in long lines just to be your own check out person and God forbid you accidentally for get to scan something . I missed a smaller item as no room to put on check out and the rude person and door checkout in all redskins gear looks at me I said sorry I missed that just put it back .. her response was you must be blind . I bit my tongue and left and may never return ill go to sams or Costco where your not expected to be an employee. Mistakes happen no need to be that way

Went to the store to buy items this evening and found what I was looking for, it is mostly a good store with a variety of items at decent prices. Some the actual cashiers I have dealt with in the past have been pleasent so that is why a 3 star not lower due to recently having had negative experiences with non cashier employees, but thats a story for another day. When I got to the registers tonight, I found that a couple of the self checkout lanes were the only ones open. This isn't the first time that there were not actual cashier lines open why I'm writing now, i cant stand self checkout lanes. Finally after a line started to form a employee opened a line and got I checked out. First, I see self checkout as eliminating jobs, and second You don't get a further discount for checking yourself out. Now I'm debating not renewing my membership and sticking with Sams

This review is specifically for their curbside pick up. I've used several times and 90% of the time, the wait exceeds 20 minutes or more. You go in the store. Wait more there. They also miss or wrong items or don't have your order ready at all. One time they told me something was out of stock, I went back there , it was right on the shelf. You're better off shopping yourself and using express pay in the app

Went today and it was packed with people. There were plenty of staff there. I was able to pick up what we needed for my grandsons birthday party. He is turned 2. We got two cakes a small one and a large round cake. Both were decorated well. The cake ended up tasting really good. The prices were very reasonable. I ended up picking up some cupcakes. The reason it is a 3 is because the checkout line was so far back it went into the men's clothes section. There were self check out. However there was only one cashier line open. That was ridiculous. There was a lady up front only speaking to the people in the front of the line saying to use the self checkout. If they would have opened cashier registers I would not have had to wait 55 min to check out. In addition the line to get out of the store also wrapped around.

Tried three different stores to get some assistance on ordering a product. Could reach only the service desk. Trying to get to the deli section but apparently that area was closed for the day. Website states that they are open until 10 pm. Will go to one of the other big stores, not what I want but.....

The store is poorly stocked, with barely any bread available in the bakery and you should expect to stand in line over one hour for deli meats because there is shortage of staff

The store itself is okay. My deepest issue is with gas station. First, what is the purpose of the guy sitting inside the enclosure between the pumps? Every time I go there to get gas, there is no organization. The arrows go one way, but people bag in, go around and come in from the the opposite end. It's completely ridiculous. I went today and every pump had cars facing the wrong way. A lot of cars have gas doors on the left side, so instead of waiting, they do all sorts of foolishness. No respect for others. That is why I asked what is the purpose of the gas attendant. He is useless if he cannot control the flow of cars. Once I was there, two people almost got into it because one car drove straight pass the pumps, while another car followed and stopped at the last pump. We'll, the first car drove through to come back the wrong way because his gas tank was on the left side. The guy that was right, did not back down and by the way, another car had pulled behind him. Quite naturally, again, nothing from the gas attendant to provide organization. Please have someone enforce the rules. If not, I will have to go other places, Sams or Costco, where there are no issues. The store itself, I would give a 5. Thanks!!!

This review is specifically regarding service in your auto center. It is atrocious or better yet, non-existent. We walked in to customers who’d already been waiting, one woman for an hour and half. She had an appointment. In the first 20 minutes of our wait, NOONE came out to the counter. We finally knocked on the garage door and the attitude was apathetic at best. We eventually left as well as one of the customers who’d been waiting at least 15 minutes prior to our arrival. Do better!

I had a very uncomfortable experience at the receipt-checking exit. One employee was extremely rude and unnecessarily delayed the line by counting and recounting items multiple times. What was most disturbing was that she seemed to single out Latino customers. A woman in front of me was clearly frustrated, yet the employee continued recounting her items and gave her very disapproving looks. In the end, the customer had paid for every single item. When another customer asked why the items were being checked over and over again, the employee responded with, “This kind of people usually don’t pay for everything,” which was completely inappropriate and discriminatory. This behavior made several customers uncomfortable and should be addressed by management. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect

Too many times we have bought food and it spoils in a couple days or they have food on the shelf that is out of date. The meat always has a bunch of blood in it. You have this one lady and we all know who it is that is checking everyone's items like I am stealing butter or chips. She is always making up stuff like that , "well this is what you are supposed to do". The lady is a problem and someone you want to avoid but BJs will not get rid of her. I have lived in a lot of different areas over the years and I have learned that business are ran and maintained based on the demographics of the area they are in. If this BJs was in a different area, it would be ran better with better presentable products. Since it is where it is, its like. Don't complain be happy you have something. People forget that we pay money just like everyone else but we always get lesser quality and the service is not as good. Its a shame that you find this type of business practice in our area more than anything else and BJs is right a long with it.

My experience with this store is always top tier. The management is thorough and the employees are always helpful and on top of things. I’ve never had a negative experience with this place. That cashier with the black Camaro. Nice car and thank you always for the great service and for being so respectful and kind. Ignore the ignorance of others that try to to shame you and throw dirt on your name. You’re an absolutely super outstanding young man. Whoever your mom was thank her for me. This is not Costco. A lot more variety than Costco but quality is lower in some cases. Does have a deli. Line at door to show receipt has only one staff and there is usually a long line.

I mistakenly just started a membership at Bjs I just came to the Waldorf location. So one person in front of me it took two ppl to help him as I waited for 20mins. Walk to the counter after their transaction hesitantly making sure their done. and the employee quickly acknowledged the customers behind me.. both looking not speaking. And carry on as if I’m in convincing or interrupting as the next person in line. Mind you I haven’t said a word yet. SAMs would never! I can understand why this store bone dry empty.. I’m just irritated I already paid and got a glimpse of the membership services. I got the ick so bad. I should have reviewed this 💩 before coming in here.
