The owner was very professional staight to the point I'm on workers comp for first time in my life waiting surgery on my shoulder I haven't income coming in for weeks the last bit of money myself family friends could put together he went above and beyond replacing my bearings in my Mazda CX-9 and pretty sure put on a new ball joint at his expense bc I paid ahead which is not typical or prolly happens often but the amazing smooth ride it is now for my young family and the quickness him and his associates did to complete the job in less then 2 days business hours I will forever bring my vehicles to these fine men at this establishment And my vehicle drives better then when I bought it at the dealership all jokes aside

These guys by far are worth seeing.. they are reasonable by all means and also work fast... the man that commented about being over charged probably has never visited a real shop edit “Logan has done me right 10 years running now thanks.

Not at all what it used to be. It's a shame too. My dog wouldn't even eat what they served me. I ended up eating Taco Bell that night. 40 bucks later

Had my car towed there and if you couldn't even figure out what was wrong with it he had me write a list of everything I had done to it which I feel like I shouldn't have done because he's the mechanic you should have figured it out anyways I made the requested list told him what I do need to change he said okay so you change the Cadillac converter that I didn't say anything about and he said he put a new fuel pump wire harness and it's even on the receipt. He called me and tells me it's ready I go pick it up it drives just fine I'll let it sit overnight in the morning car wouldn't start so I do a little investigating fuel pump wire harness was never changed same problem as I had before tell it back there a week ago and it's still there nothing has been done to it don't go to these guys and they are not cheap they charge me $1,100 and didn't even fixed the problem that's my post don't post that okay

We started going to Black's because it was right around the corner. None of us ever anticipated this level of service from somewhere so convenient. We're a big family and we all own relatively old cars. Blacks charges the lowest end of every Google cost estimate, every time. They have never taken more than three days after drop off to fix a car, no matter what the issue was. After easily twelve visits over the past few years, they have never once broken anything, overcharged, had a complication or been unprofessional. Google, give me the option for a six-star review. Black's deserves it.

Very fair people!!!! I have been going to this facility for the past 4 years and have had NO PROBLEMS even when they had to return parts that did not fit my vehicle. They are very fair in pricing ..get a quote from your car dealer and compare prices ...new cars...old cars they work on them all...My 76 Caddy to my 16 Chevy.

Great auto shop with reasonable prices. Willing to explain the different parts and component prices and provide estimates and get the job done quickly. I usually shop prices around at different auto shops and Blacks is still consistently the lowest and still has quality work. I’ve been coming back for years

I want to say Blacks is the best place to repair your car, I ve been going to blacks for over 7yrs, he respect his clients & as a black woman, my family feel so welcome & comfortable. I will recommend him for your auto repairs. Pls remember attitude is all it takes

This place sucks. You can tell when white people have a problem with black people. Tried to make me wait a week for brakes that he could hear squeaking real loud and saw my kids in the car. So I went to Proffitts. Went back another day about the box hanging on my car (has been fixed since) and he completely ignored me until I went to walk to my car. I ignored him. The owner I guess, Logan. Won't ever go back to Black's either

Can't say anything bad about this place. Was in Akron visiting family and I had my brakes go out and needed some quick service before I got on the road to travel back to the midwest. I came first thing in the morning to see if they would be able to give my truck a look over and repair it. Not only were they able to get me in on the same day, he called be back within three hours of dropping it off, told me what I needed, and how much it would be, and it was done within an hour. I couldn't be happier. Great customer service, very affordable and efficient labor. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest, efficient and affordable mechanic. My best advice is come early, at open or before, place fills up pretty quickly.

I was told by a post that if I updated my review I would earn five bonus points. I'm not sure what five bonus points are about but the review is still the same. Good work fair price If I were to add another element it would be trust. If the work needs to be done they tell me it needs to be done. If the work can wait they tell me it can wait.

This place is absolutely horrible Logan will let your vehicle sit in his lot for a week or longer and will try an overcharge you would have gave negative stars if I could.

I would mark negative stars if I could. The place started out great I believe I had a 5 star on here at one point, until recently when I took my car in for service just to have the engine blow 2 days later. Took it back in the day after service with an issue and he stated they took care of it, picked the car back up and it was still running terribly. Being that my car was my means of work I wouldn’t take it back in the next day so I proceeded to work for the day until the engine locked up. So beware of Logan and his tech. Choose your shop wisely.

This man has been charging for parts and labor and never replaced with new par he just rigged everything just for me to come back so I end taking my car to the dealer found out what was wrong with the car and Black charge me for parts he didn't fix and replaced I had someone show me the parts that I paid for and it was the original parts then he keeps telling me he doesn't have the receipt which I have that's not in his system if you are a woman that's of color don't go there I'm going to take him to court

I recently had some body work done on my vehicle here, and they did a fantastic job. The quality of the work really shows — my car looks great. It did take a little time to complete, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing auto body repairs.
