Wasn’t too happy honestly. The mechanic working on my alignment told me I needed new brakes. Which I knew I had just put on and calibers and rotors. He said nothing was wrong with the alignment. I go to pay for it and the counter guy says it way to the right was out of line. Everything just didn’t seem right and this will be my last visit .

They do fast work, if you can find 1 location to do everything you need. I was told 1 location could put on new tires & do an alignment. After the tires were put on, I was told that location couldn't do an alignment, but another location (30 minutes away) could. Once there, if they aren't able to fix your car, you're usually notified sooner than later.

The guys at blacks in apex are great. John is an excellent mechanic who can fix just about any type of car even my annoying vw isn’t too difficult . The pricing is for the most part pretty industry standard I wouldn’t consider them to be a cheap or cost effective place but the quality of the service is always amazing .

Great experience. On the front end Nick did a great jobs in finding the right tires at the best price for us. On the garage end, James took care of us doing mounting, rotating, balancing all tires, and aligning all the wheels which had been badly out of alignment before. Overall very professional ran auto service shop and team and one I trust enough now to continue using for all our family vehicles.

This Black's location has lost my trust (which is unfortunate as I have in the past recommended it to family and friends and used it myself.) I won't be returning. My partner (who was a customer for 5+ years) brought in his vehicle Thursday night for service on Friday leaving the vehicle for the full day. His request was a simple oil change and to replace three light bulbs that were out (two in front and one in back.) When he received his text estimate Friday morning they recommended rear brakes, an air filter, a valve gasket replacement, and an $1800 strut replacement. I got the vibe that they were $$$ up the charges. Slow day? Since there was no mention of the light/light bulb replacements, and we were in the area, we stopped in Friday morning to clarify that the light bulbs were also being done and he was told no problem. Ultimately, my partner decided to have all the repairs done except for the $1800 struts which were way out of our budget, at this time. When we were called to pick up the vehicle, Friday afternoon after having it all day, and he was reviewing his bill that mentioned nothing about light/light bulb replacement he again asked if this was done. While were having this conversation, another mechanic was pulling our vehicle back into the bay (we had been called and told it was done??) The gentleman in front, Brandon I think, told us that the "manager" had done a walk around and no light bulbs were out. (We had confirmed three light bulbs were out with two other family members the day before hence why we brought the vehicle in.) At this point, my partner was upset and went out of the store. I asked to speak to the manager and by this time the vehicle was pulled back out and my partner was now sitting in the running car out front of the shop. A gentleman came out and identified himself as the "manager," no name tag and never told me his name. I again inquired about the light bulbs and he said they had just done the front headlight "for free," and there were no other bulbs out. Since our vehicle was in view, he said: "see, no bulbs are out in the back" and we walked outside where I promptly showed him the burned out left rear running light bulb (I did not have a chance to show him the left front running light bulb that was also out but reconfirmed it was still out when we returned home.) The "manager" said he was sorry he hadn't seen this bulb. I did appreciate him offering now to replace this bulb for free, but, at this point, my partner no longer trusted Black's with his vehicle. Did the "manager" really ever do a walk around? Did they even really do the other work to the tune of $900+ that they said they did? If you can't be honest and trustworthy about three light bulbs and then you try to -gaslight- the lady that there are no bulbs out, how do I know that you are honest and trustworthy about anything else? I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This place is fantastic. I had two broken wheel studs from warranty work done at Costco (next door) and after calling around to 5+ places, BT had the best price BY FAR. On top of that, they have wonderful customer service to make the experience as painless as could be. Will return for friendly folks that know what they are doing at a competitive rate.
