This is a very shady mechanic. They will act kind and even offer free services that are beyond easy and make it seem like they are doing you a favor to gain your trust. In the long run, they will RUN YOU and take advantage of you. When I stepped into my wife's family and realised how Blackmon Imports was taking advantage of them, I quickly decided to take my own vehicle there to test them out. They took it upon themselves to say that the part I provided them with did not fit. Okay. No problem there. However, instead of calling me to let me know, they bought an over priced part that way more exspensive than i was comfortable buying, and installed it without my consent, then forced me to pay top dollar. Months later my wife took her car there, they said it needed various repairs. She assured them that I would be able to do some of the things they recommended, instead of saying okay, Steve was very condescending and said "oh its funny when a little boy thinks hes a man" My best friend who had been taking his car here forever sank thousands in repairs with them. He had one more small issue with his car, they quickly advised him it would be way too much work on such an old vehicle and that it was BETTER TO JUST SELL THEM THE CAR (said a 300 dollar repair would cost thousands). They exploit peoples ignorance and I will not tolerate my loved ones being taken. Some of the worst know-it-all shade tree mechanics I have ever met

Excellent service and support by Mike and Scott. I've been using this shop for my heavier maintenance that I don't want to do myself. I do my own routine services (fluid and filter changes, brakes, that sort of thing), but for anything more involved, these are my go to guys for anything outside my comfort zone! I give this shop 5 stars and this comes from having years of experience with them.

Mike and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Coming from decades of working on my own vehicle I find it can be challenging to instill trust in another to work on your vehicle. Mike is one person I would and have let work on my rides. I’ve turned many a friend and family to his shop and services and we have had nothing but great experiences from a quick fix on a roadtrip to in depth repairs to purchasing a used vehicle. I had the guys at Blackmon do some work on my 2021 Landcruiser and the experience was top notch. I really needed some guidance on the decisions I was making on my Cruiser and Mike was exceptionally patient, responsive, friendly and most importantly, on target with what he recommended I do. I went there a few times over the course of our work together and what I really like about their shop is that they welcome you to come into the garage area and see what they’re working on, how they’ll approach your project and really are just providing a welcoming experience. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at this shop. Michael, Wolf, and Scott were all incredibly kind, transparent, and efficient throughout the entire process. They took care of everything in just one day — no cutting corners, just honest and thorough work. They addressed a brake fluid leak that turned out to be coming from the ABS module, and even discovered that one of the fill lines hadn’t been fully tightened. Rather than rushing to replace parts unnecessarily, they carefully cleaned the area and advised me to monitor it to confirm the true source — something most shops wouldn’t take the time to explain. On top of that, they assessed some oil leaks and, again, took the time to break it down step by step. Mike suggested cleaning the engine first before replacing any gaskets or seals, potentially saving me hundreds in unnecessary work. It’s rare to find mechanics who prioritize cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Overall, I felt respected, informed, and genuinely taken care of. Huge thanks to Michael, Wolf, and Scott — your kindness and expertise made all the difference.

I will go as far as to say that I will ONLY take my car to Blackmon Imports. Promise. I had a Honda Odyssey that I took to Meineke in Greensboro on Wendover. After they took 3-5 hours to look at it, they told me that it needed a NEW ENGINE. Luckily I took it to Blackmon for a second opinion. They determined all it needed was a timing belt. The Odyssey ran great for a couple more years. Now, before I buy a car, I always have Blackmon look at it first. They have found critical issues that have prevented me from buying cars. They have also been very honest about some other small things that I asked the seller to do before I made the purchase. I seriously ONLY take my cars to Blackmon.
