Refuse to take my LR4 anywhere else! They always do an amazing job and have very reasonable prices. Might be in Gastonia, but definitely reminds me of my small town friendly hometown mechanic from years ago. - Brittany Reynolds

I’m very particular about my cars and the mechanics that work on them. I am so impressed with these guys and the work they do. The shop is very clean and the mechanics are friendly. If you have any doubts, you can rest assured these guys will impress. Thanks!

Over a week ago I made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I dropped my car off Wednesday night and called at 1pm on Thursday about the car. NEVER did anyone tell me I wasn’t on their books. They told me it would be in the afternoon before it was serviced. I went to pick the car up around 5pm. Nothing had been done to the car and only then did they tell me I wasn’t on the books. THEY TRIED TO MAKE IT OUT AS MY FAULT because I didn’t leave a note with the keys. If you make the appointment and give them the make and model of the car when you make the appointment, why should you have to leave a note? Their screw up all around. Needless to say I was angry and as I was leaving the person at the counter had to make a smart comment. Never again will I use this company!

1st time having my Volvo serviced at Blvd Import Service. I will return when needed. Very nice staff, fair pricing and work completed by time noted when I dropped off the car.

I have taken my car to Blvd Import for years and they have always been extremely helpful. I came to them because a VERY picky friend recommended them and they have never disappointed. My car is over 13 years old and it has been running well because of their care. If I don't need something, they will tell me so. These guys are honest and priced well. I am a woman and know that I am well taken care of. I have dealt with others before I found them and won't make that mistake again!

It’s been about a year ago but they took care of my daughters Toyota Highlander when she had to have an oxygen sensor replaced to pass inspection. I thought the pricing was very fair and I am especially happy with how they helped her and talked her through everything including the follow up inspection. Follow up: They helped me with another issue on our Honda CRV. Great service. Wonderful to work with. Highly recommended.

I have a mechanical engineering background that was primarily developed from growing up on a farm. So mechanical maintenance, diagnoses, engineering, and repair is just another daily chore to me which is something I’ve turned into a profit. Typically I will not let anyone else touch my vehicles or devices, but BLVD imports is an exception. They are one of the few techs and mechanics I trust to work on my vehicles. Though I get that they are primarily an import vehicle service center I’d preferred they’d not turned down working on my 95 Dakota SLT 4x4 5.2magnum 5spd. I understand it’s domestic, but I trust their ability hence why I reached out to them. They are a bit short staffed when it comes to communication. So you might not get in touch with them on the first or second try.

I took my car there for a broken timing belt. They had the car for 3 weeks, when my fiance called to inquire when it would be ready Jeff got upset and cursed at him on the phone. Which is totally inappropriate and why Thad would want someone like that talking to customers is beyond me. Well, when we finally got the car back and drove it home we realized the radiator was leaking which it wasn't before. We took the car back and they did replace the radiator and not so sure but I'm thinking Jeff was mad and handled this situation without the care it needed therefore cracking the radiator in several places. Also, prior to bringing the car in my fiance had changed all the spark plugs and they were brand new. When we got it back after the radiator was replaced my fiance decided to check on the things Jeff had done and we found out he had replaced our new spark plugs with old fouled out ones and they were not even all the same type of spark plugs! I called the owner Thad to discuss this with him and he said "it was an accident". How do you take new spark plugs out and replace them with old fouled out ones?? Does a good & thorough mechanic do this type of work? While speaking to Thad I did alert him to the poor customer service (cussing) from Jeff and he did not seem to care. I guess at this place the customer is not always right and it's ok to use cuss words with paying customers. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Thad and Jeff are a heck of a team. Both are extremely nice and Honest guys. Their prices are very reasonable too. After my very 1st car, these guys has worked on every vehicle that I’ve owned, and I’ve never been disappointed. So if you want an Honest, dependability and Reasonable mechanics for your vehicle, these are your guys.

Took my 2019 Subaru Outback in. Had a broken wheel stud, needed brakes, and two bad codes that showed up a couple of weeks before. One of those codes was keeping my car from starting intermittently. I took the car in on a Tuesday morning and told them I really needed it back before Friday morning. They were able to do it and the repair was reasonably priced. I'm hoping I won't have to go see them again but if something goes wrong in the future, they will now be my repair service!

CONSUMER BEWARE: Had a terrible experience with this outfit. Spent over $900 on repairs for 2011 Jaguar XF. Four days later engine light and TPFS warning appear. Took car back and owner spent maybe 15 minutes with vehicle. Said he cleared out the codes and assured me car its fine and I wouldn’t get stranded. On the way home, car almost cuts off. I took car back that night (Thursday) with note that I need my car for work and please look at this asap. Never heard back. I call today (Monday) and they say the car has been running for a while now and hasn’t cut off. When I pressed the issue, all I got was it could be a fuel line but they’d have to check. The car had NONE of these issues before. I could get no clear idea on why the car went in for repairs and now it possibly needs a different set of repairs. Should have learned my lesson because previously, I took the same car to them 3 months ago. Left it with them and had to keep calling for an update. Finally had to pick it up after they told me they don’t have enough mechanics to do the work. BEWARE.

Took my 2017 Audi A4 to have my water pump, a few radiator hoses, and a wheel barring replaced. Kept my car way longer than they said the job would take, went to pick it up one night when I got a friend to drop me off and when I was driving it on my way home got 5 mins down the road before my coolant low light came on. Pulled over and coolant was empty. Had my 3 month old with me on the side of the road after I paid these people $1,400 to fix it correctly. Finally was able to get the car home so I had my brother in law take a look at it and they didn't have 1 of the hoses hooked up, random bolts I'm not sure what they went to sitting where my wind shield wipers were, broke a hose and rigged it, and broke some sort of plug and didn't replace it. I went back up there to have them replace what should've been replaced when they broke it and to fix what I had already paid them to fix. Well after I get it back, a few weeks later my engine light comes on. I pay another place to look at it and apparently they had put some hoses on backwards that made my car think it was running hot where the hot and cool would fluctuate while driving it. So I had to pay someone else yet again to fix another issue they had caused. I took my car to them a few years ago and they had replaced a wheel barring quickly and correctly so I thought I could take it to them as a trusted source again and found out if it's more in depth mechanic work that their work wasn't dependable. I won't be a repeat customer anymore. Thet were supposed to make it easy on me by getting the job done when I paid them for their service. They caused more of a headache and money spent for me than anything.

My whole family has been using Blvd Imports to upkeep our vehicles for years. This is an honest and talented group of people who always make us feel welcome. They are busy so be prepared that you may not get an appointment on the same day that you contact them. It has always been worth the way. Thanks y’all for your service!

Always great service, wife’s Mercedes had a check engine light come on. They used scan tool and determined it was a slight evap leak, most likely gas cap. Reset the code and did not charge us a cent. Amazing place to do business, so friendly and helpful and they were very busy when we visited. Thank you!
