Was quoted almost 4k to replace a busted strut on my vehicle with less than 40 thousand miles. I then took my vehicle to Les Schwab, who I've trusted for over 20 years for them to tell me I just had oil debris... and there was no issue at all. They are really taking advantage of folks at the BMW service center, and I will never return

The service center has always been a pleasure to work with. I've primarily worked with Aaron and Gary through the years. Both of them listen and are efficient. All BMW service centers have high costs for both parts and service so I do not fault the Salem location for this. I trust that if an issue were to arise that they would own the problem and come up with a reasonable solution.

Once you get someone to help at the service department… they are really good about keeping you informed when they find issues during the car inspection, they will not do any extra work without asking and they always call when it’s time to pick it up your vehicle. Labor fees seem really high for a normal working class of people. At around a $100.00 every 20 minute! It’s hard to keep the vehicle maintained at that rate.

I needed service on my vehicle and called to make an appointment. It was quick and easy. They worked around my schedule and got me in quickly. When I went in, my service advisor was Aaron. He was great to work with. He made it easy and explained everything to me to make sure I understood what needed to be done. Their experience and honesty is what really makes the difference. My car was done when it was promised to me. It was outstanding service and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had high expectations for this BMW service center based on its glowing reviews, but the experience my girlfriend had was extremely disappointing. I set up an appointment a week in advance to address several issues with her X3: a persistent low tire pressure warning (despite confirming the pressure was fine), a low coolant advisory, and an oil change. The receptionist acknowledged these concerns during the booking, so we felt confident everything would be handled. However, when my girlfriend arrived after driving an hour to her scheduled appointment, the service advisor dismissed her outright. He told her she didn’t need an oil change—despite her insisting it should be done—and then informed her she’d have to wait two hours just to check the coolant. When she brought up the other issues, she was brushed off entirely. Frustrated and feeling ignored, she left without receiving any service. To make matters worse, my attempts to follow up with Austin, the service manager, went unanswered. I called multiple times to try to address the situation and find out what went wrong, but no one bothered to respond. This experience was completely unprofessional. First, the service advisor's dismissive attitude toward my girlfriend's concerns was unacceptable. If customers knew exactly what was wrong with their cars, they wouldn’t need to bring them in for service in the first place. Second, the lack of communication from the service manager shows a serious disregard for customer feedback and follow-up. If this is how they handle service, I can't recommend this center to anyone. They need to prioritize listening to customers and following through on their commitments if they want to maintain their reputation.
