Misquoted me almost $3,000 gave me a 15% discount on parts which didn’t really help I would recommend driving to Orange County BMW or Ramsey for service

The service department has changed over the last two years. I would not trust my bringing my car here anymore due to a plethora of phantom problems appearing every time I take my BMW in. It has become very obvious that the number one purpose here is to get money out of your pocket and into theirs and to set your car up for further problems. There never used to be high turnover of the mechanics and service department reps and now there is a tremendous amount which speaks volumes. Because of this service department, I will never buy another BMW from BMW of the Hudson Valley, because I simply don’t trust them anymore.

BMW of the Hudson Valley comes through again! Frank from the service department went above and beyond to help me out. Had my X-5 for less than a week and my dog managed to jump on my driver side door and left some serious scratches. I called and Frank and he suggested I come by so he could see what would need to be done. Well he looked at it and said let my guys see what they can do. Took the car, had it for about an hour ( this was with no scheduled appointment) and when they were done there was literally nothing left of the scratches! Then they did the complimentary car wash and sent me on my way. What a great , professional and friendly experience. Thank you Frank and your team.

Picked up my car after leaving it over the weekend because of a manufacturer’s recall. Upon picking the car up I noticed the infotainment screen was damaged. I informed the manager and I was told that because they don’t know how the damaged happened they were not responsible for it. The manager stated that since no employee reported damaging the screen they were not responsible. I asked to speak with the service director and general manager but was told that they would not be speaking with me. I asked for options and was told that I could pay for the repair and that the part was $3500 and they “might” discount the labor. They said that I could always take it up my insurance company if I didn’t want to pay for it myself. I departed feeling extremely frustrated and upset that despite the vehicle being in their possession over the weekend, they refused to take any responsibility for damages that occurred during that period. I wished that I had checked online reviews before coming to this BMW service department.

For cars under warranty it’s a good shop, they get you in and out with a loaner fast and effortlessly. If your car is not under warranty, you have to be wealthy or dumb to have your car serviced there. The prices are crazy inflated. And as other reviewers have said they have a tendency to come up with things that are wrong if they can’t find anything. It is what it is, if you wanna pay crazy prices to maintain your BMW they have great coffee tea and smart service people. I doubt other BMW dealers have less expensive service. Mechanics can change though overtime and there’s no way to know.

Tried to charge me 20k for a curb bump that i got taken care of for less than $1500 at local foreign specialist shop. I am currently under their seemingly useless extended platinum warranty that I’m currently trying to refund if their financial department would pick up the phone …. 0/10 can’t name a time these people actually helped instead of trying to grinch some extra dollars. Don’t bring ur car here unless you're dumb or very wealthy.
