What to say? There's good and bad.... Boyte had my car for 2.5 weeks, trying to figure out what had made it throw a P0191 code. Two things about all this stand out in my mind: They said they checked out a number of possible problems during all that time. Second: They didn't charge me, since they said they didn't find anything; that was very generous of them, and I appreciate it. For me, the larger issue is that I have a report specific to my own vehicle that describes what's most likely the problem (see the photo), yet Chevrolet (or the dealership in particular) didn't find that to be what was wrong. When you have a code-puller and can get the report yourself, it does make you wonder if either they don't know how to fix things, or if their own memos aren't reliable. Their suggested solution? Drive it until/unless it throws that code again (which is followed by the car shaking and misfiring and a line saying "Engine Speed Reduced"), and then bring it back. This just seems really iffy to me, in light of the suggested solutions offered on the actual report. About other aspects: Whenever I talked with anyone at Boyte, they were ALWAYS pleasant and respectful. On the other hand, it would've been nice if I hadn't had to do most of the calling. Communication with me definitely could've been better.

I am very impressed with the mechanic and service writer who serviced my truck recently. A fine job done by both. The mechanic found a defective part in the supply system and solved the issue that brought me to the dealership. The mechanic found a maintenance issue that I was not aware of and needed immediate attention. Thanks. Disappointed with Chevrolet in their unwillingness to resolve a well documented problem. And for their “solution “ to apply a new unmodified part to fix a design issue that should have been recalled. Terribly disappointed in Chevrolet!

Service writer Tammy Ray was very personable as she kept me informed on the progress as it changed due to unforseen broken bolts and cracked A/C compressor housing from previous owner's repairs. She worked around my schedule and kept my total billing down, giving me mercy since I only recently purchased the truck from an individual who didn't disclose the underlying mechanical issues. Although hesitant to use any dealership's service department at first, I will look to them for any future repairs or major maintenance such as transmission fluid/filter or computer updates rather than going directly to smaller local shops .

While making a trip from Yazoo County MS to cruise the coast. My 2019 Chevy 1500 RST stopped running and was showing no fuel. Knowing I had at least a half tank I contacted OnStar for a tow. Not knowing the area well and hearing nothing but good about Bob Boyte Chevrolet in the Jackson MS area I chose to have my truck towed to Bob Boyte in Biloxi. Being a Friday I was not expecting to have my truck back until possibly Monday. With my wife coming down Friday afternoon we went on with our plans for the weekend. Early Saturday morning I received a call from the service department and was told I had a bad fuel pump control module and they had it in stock. By noon on Saturday I received another call and my truck was ready for pick up. I highly recommend Bob Boyte Chevrolet in Biloxi MS, great people and great service.

Kelvin was outstanding, and Sales Manager Bob was as well. This was genuinely one of the best sales experiences I’ve had with a dealership. I buy a new truck roughly every 3–4 years, so I’m not a first-time or inexperienced buyer, and Kelvin and Bob handled the sales side professionally, transparently, and without pressure. I love the truck and am very happy with the vehicle itself. Unfortunately, that experience changed once I moved into finance. David was friendly, but I repeatedly had to ask him to restate or clarify information. Key details—especially around financing terms and warranty costs—were presented in a confusing way. I was very clear that I wanted a 72-month loan from the beginning, yet comparisons were made between 60- and 72-month terms in a way that made it sound like the warranties were only “about $10 more per month,” without clearly explaining that this was effectively pushing a very large amount of cost into the final year. The process itself was also concerning. I signed once on the iPad at the beginning, and afterward the device was held at a distance while only high-level summaries were verbally given, and then advanced by David to capture signatures. I was not given printed copies and was told that everything would be provided on a thumb drive. When I reviewed the thumb drive at home, it became clear that not all documentation was included, and only then did I fully understand that nearly $10,000 in warranties and products had been added—at a cost level I would not have agreed to had it been clearly presented. To be clear: I often purchase extended warranties and my previous trade-in had a 5-year / 100k warranty. I am not opposed to protection products. What I am opposed to is how they were presented. The structure and explanation of the financing and warranty costs were misleading and did not align with what I believed I was agreeing to at the time. I love the truck, and I intentionally bought what I wanted this time, not just what was practical—even at a higher price than I’ve ever spent on myself. Because of that, the lack of clarity and transparency in finance was especially disappointing. In summary: Kelvin was great. Bob was great. I love the truck. The finance experience significantly detracted from what otherwise would have been an excellent overall purchase.

This was my go to dealership for my Tahoe and my husband's Silverado for years. My recent experience was absolutely horrible. Had a scheduled appointment to have my truck looked at January 6. Sat in the lobby for 4 hours without the mechanic even test driving it. I was told to schedule another appointment to have it dropped off January 26. This time dropped it off and was told it would be ready by the time I flew back in the following week. 2 more weeks went by and still my vehicle was untouched. My warranty claim was closed because the dealership did not communicate with them and Bob Boyte charged me hundreds of dollars for a rental that I was told would be split between bob boyte and my warranty. Here we are in the middle of February. Weeks of lies, no communication, and stress. I finally got my vehicle towed from the dealership. After years of trusting this dealership, I will not be returning. I couldnt believe the lies that were told day after day by the service advisor. I am now starting to believe that other services I have requested were never done. So disappointed. Just no accountability.

Absolutely excellent service department! If a mistake is ever made, they fix it immediately. My favorite service person is Tammy — she’s my go-to girl for getting things done! Matt is also excellent and very knowledgeable, but Tammy is always my first pick. I’m truly happy with their whole team. Every one of them goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure customers are taken care of. Today was truly a blessing. I’ve been on a journey to find a new car for about a year now. It seems like every dealership I went to I just wasn’t getting the answers or service I wanted. On yesterday I received a marketing text message from Bob Boyte Chevrolet.
