Have had multiple issues with my 2017 Honda Pilot recently. I’ve taken it into the service department several times with the same issue of the idle stop malfunctioning and not restarting my car. At one point the idle stop was turned off at the dealership and then recently the battery died. $500 later for a new battery and diagnostic testing was done I drive my car home and it dies in my driveway while I was stopped and numerous lights came on. I called the manager to try to talk about the issues I had but he was very rude and condescending about the issues I was having. I will now be in the process of buying a new car and would not recommend their dealership or service department after all the frustration I have been put through. The idle stop malfunctioning is an issue Honda is aware of and there was a recall but Bob Lindsey Honda has yet to resolve this issue for me.

We experienced a problem with our 2019 Pilot, so we took it to the service department. They diagnosed the problem quickly, had the part the next day and installed the part. Unfortunately the bad part ruined the battery and they had to replace the battery as well. We took the Pilot home only to discover the original problem still exists. We returned to the service department at 6:00pm on Friday so we had to utilize the night drop. We called the service department on Saturday morning at 10:30am only to discover they had no idea the car was there, even though all of the information was completely filled out on the night drop envelope and it was placed in the proper slot. So on Monday when they had to DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AGAIN they had to schedule the repair for Tuesday, and yes even though they were unable to diagnose the problems correctly the first time we were charged to diagnose the problem a second time. I attempted to get an email for the service manager, but apparently they will not give out that information. Definitely no more Honda cars from Bob Lindsay Honda.
