I called break masters on a Saturday morning to look at my car because of a rattling sound and a loose tube I noticed while driving to Phoenix from California. I was only in town for the weekend so urgent service was a must. Steve was incredibly helpful and offered to take a look right away. I dropped the car off and just a couple hours later they had given the car a full inspection and noted the car was just fine and the tube was a normal drainage for the battery. They tucked the tube back as it must have come loose after a bump in the road. They assured me the car was perfectly safe to continue our road trip and sent photos as well. I offered to pay but he insisted on no charge. Very helpful and I was extremely relieved. This is an honest operation for sure and I would recommend to anyone needing car service in the area. Felicia (Mgr.) graciously corrected misunderstanding as to type of oil I had requested be used with oil change and with no additional charge. Also appreciated that recommendation for brake fluid flush included pic/visual of color of current brake fluid, as has been the case with other prior recommendations. Appreciate the transparency. Horrible experience on our visit in Scottsdale Arizona our brakes needed replacement we made an appointment arrived and were first ignored then greeted with we'll be right with you folks... Sat and waited the manager continues to ignore pushing his computer mouse as if we were extremely busy there was 1 customer already sitting waiting as well.Michael the manger was abusive in his tone and manner my two year old was afraid of his tone and conduct. I do not recommend this store and it's abusive manger. Unfortunately we had already an appointment and were in desperate need of brakes so we had to stay and do our business there.

This was my first time taking my car here, it was a great experience. The front desk guy (cannot think of his name) was extremely helpful in getting me financed, making my visit easy and flexible. Awful experience! Left within 5 min of arriving there…Mike who is the Assistant Manager lacks customer service skills. I walked in and he did not even look up at me to greet me! I started out personable and said I have the coupon for the oil change here on my phone which I started to show him and he immediately said “we can only take a print out I can’t take that” seriously? First of all that should have been communicated on the phone BEFORE DRIVING THERE when I spoke to Mike earlier in the morning because many people like myself do not have a printer! And I had already discussed having the coupon for $49.95 on the phone before coming in otherwise I would not have gone there. This location does not care about getting customer’s business either because when I told him I was leaving he said “that’s fine there is another Brake Masters down the street”. Who says that to the customer? Terrible terrible way to treat your customers…Zero stars!! People value good customer service because there are too many other places to go!

At other times in my life, when money wasn't so flush, I could always trust Steve to honestly assess and tell me what I absolutely had to fix that day and what could wait until my next paycheck. I drive a 2001 truck that I bought when new. It currently has 186,000 miles. Yes that’s right. I haven’t had a car payment in over 20 years. Keeping my truck in top shape by a reliable mechanic is absolutely essential. Finding a team of trusted mechanics is like trying to buy the winning Powerball ticket -your chances of winning are next to none. I am happy to report that the team at Brake Masters has successfully tackled some pretty complicated repairs on my older truck. The customer service is amazing. Miss Felicia is a gem. The mechanics actually spend time explaining to you what the problem is and how they’re making it right. When my truck is in the shop, I get constant updates or I can wait in their very spacious and comfortable reception area. It’s close to lots of cafés and restaurants and some shopping so you can definitely pass the time quickly if you choose to hang out while your vehicle is being repaired. I have to give a big “Thank you” to the entire staff at this location for putting my mind at ease that I have a staff a very capable professionals ready to help me out whenever I have an issue with my vehicle.💕

I had previous bad experiences but since the ownership changed hands this was a positive experience. I’m impressed. Mike ( he’s at the front desk) was very polite and helped me with a warranty for control arms on my SUV. It was a breath of fresh air not to have to deal with a sales pitch or upsold on things to do for my vehicle. He was honest and got the car fixed up quickly.
