When I moved here from Conn summer 2012 my wife’s Lexus needed service. My colleague at work recommended Ray & First Class Auto for his Lexus. I trusted my colleague as Rays shop was not near my home or work but well worth the drive. And is still worth it 8 years later. I have been taking my vehicles to Ray and his team for over 15 years. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. They treat you with respect, never overcharge or do unnecessary work and make you feel like family. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. I have been taking my vehicles to First Class Auto for the past several years and have nothing but great things to say about the owner, Ray, and their service. I have been taking my vehicles to First Class Auto for over ten years. I discovered them by referral from Discount Tire- which is located next door. I replaced my former auto shop with First Class because of their professionalism, reliability, and reasonable prices. It’s great to find an honest mechanic shop. The owner Ray is a tell-it-like-it-is, service with a smile small business owner. Fest Class has been my first choice shop for 3 vehicles: My ‘93 Dodge Grand Caravan (thanks to First Class, I still have her) My ‘07 Ford Freestar (recently serviced & running great again) My father’s 2001 Cadillac Seville (sold 2 years ago) When my ‘93 Dodge Caravan needed another transmission and no used transmissions could be found, the mechanics at First Class rebuilt the replacement transmission that was in my Dodge (her 3rd). She has run fine ever since! I highly recommend First Class Auto!

First Class Auto was a great experience.. Ray, the owner, had me go to Cadillac and get a bid to repair my car. He did it for 1/3 less than the dealership and added an alignment for no additional charge. There are dozens of thank you notes pinned to his office wall. I made appointment for Oil Change and Tire Rotation yesterday Today I arrived at this auto shop at 1:00pm for my appointment. They told me it would be a few hours And I informed them it would be only an hour which is what I was told by the technician when I called to inquire about the service and price I cancelled the tires rotation but I saw the mechanic taking the tires off So I stopped him. I had to use the powder room, it was filthy My bladder was full but couldn't reveive myself. The manager told me after I informed him of the filthy bathroom situation, that the Oil Change would be no charge. I told him that was good because I guess email the owner of Garage requesting a Discount. I was given my keys I checked my vehicle body the technician told me to have a better day Which I ignored. They didn't give me a receipt for work done on my car. I walked back into lobby and requested the documents They refused and I insisted. Then three employees began to Verbally Attack me. My heart was pounding I thought I was having a heart attack.( I had to take my Heart Medicine when I got home.) I left. I emailed complaint to Owner of auto shop, The health department and Attorney General Consumer Protection. Department. I'll never take my car to First Class Auto Service again. This is my new go-to mechanic! My Toyota had a long list of unexpected repairs that needed to be done, and the people at Discount Tire recommended me here. I walked in, talked to the owner, Ray about what was going on, and he just took my car in that day, did a full diagnosis and got it done by the next day. I've been going to First Class Auto Service for some time now. Probably should have written a review before this, but at least I'm getting to it now. Each time I go to First Class Auto, I am more amazed than the last. Ray is about as honest a guy as there is in the industry. They do great work, and the prices are more than reasonable. Just recently brought my truck in, to have the AC repaired and an alignment done. Now obviously the alignment is no big expense, but the AC could have easily cost me some bucks. In fact, if the price had been up there, I wouldn't have thought about it twice. However, it turns out that it was a simple fix, and I got out of there pretty darn painlessly. Some places might be inclined to jack-up the price to make it worth their while, but not these guys. They even fixed a broken door handle I had on the driver's side. All in all, a fantastic place, with knowledgeable mechanics and great customer service. Just look at all the 'Thank You' cards on the wall when you get there. So glad I found one of the best shops in town. Thanks for the great work!

Ray and the guys at First Class were nothing short of their name. I have an older Mercedes SL 500 and Ray did his best to track down the best priced part for the work i needed done . He was great about keeping me updated on the status of the repair and came in right on the money with the estimate he gave me initially. Could not be more pleased with the service. I almost don’t want to recommend him as he may get overwhelmed with business and not have time for me the next time my car breaks down..:)

Incredible mechanics! I was so worried that I would get taken advantage of when I first went in cause i dont know much about cars and i had a mustang that i was the 3rd+ owner of so they couldve said anything was wrong and i wouldnt have any way to question them But they didnt! With that car and my next car, theyve always been super direct and honest, only charging me exactly what is needed on the car, giving me clear estimates of what could be wrong or how long it could take. I really trust these guys so much. When something went wrong with my husbands car, he took it to a place nearby and they ended up messing up one of his axles and it SNAPPED on the freeway!! We towed it to First Class and they had it fixed in a couple days :) that same place also told me a check engine light i had meant i needed to change a bunch of tubes and itd be a lot of work and First Class looked at my car and said i was just running on no oil, changed my oil, and sent me on my way and ive had No Problems with it Truly incredible work by truly caring guys!!

My mechanic of 30 years retired and I was at a loss to find an honest and reputable shop. I called First Cass Auto Service because of their good reviews. I was very happy to find out that they had all the correct tools to service a 2005 Mini Cooper. Max was friendly, professional, and patient and assured me that their work would cost less than at the dealership. I had a list of things wrong that the dealership found, and a $1,000 repair they included was not necessary. First Class did a thorough inspection and found something that the dealership missed. Max explained they only had three bays, and I had the car towed there without an appointment, so I understood it would take a few days before they could start. I was fine with that, and so glad I waited. Although it is 25 miles away on the other side of town, I will be taking my cars to them from now on. Highly recommend!

I needed to take my Volvo XC90 in somewhere to have the A/C looked at. The air was blowing hot and I had gone somewhere else to have them charge it with Freon, but within a few weeks, it was blowing hot again. My niece had used First Class Auto and recommended them as someone she trusts. I decided to try them out and am very happy I did. Not only did they figure out the issue, they fixed it within one day and it was reasonably priced. I will now take all my vehicles to them when needed.

Efficient, reasonable pricing. Really nice people, and no hassles. They completed my alignment in one hour, they said it would be 2 hours, so really impressed. Also showed me the correction specs on alignment which I really appreciated to see what was done. I will definitely go back to them!

UPDATE Because I cannot reply publicly, I will be editing my original post. I was at this establishment. There is a Salad and go across the street as well as a discount tire shop next to it, as well as the NAPA shop across the street. A few days before I wrote this review, I came with my boyfriend and while I was there, the gentleman with a beard was verbally abusing a much younger, shorter gentleman. I know what I saw and I know what I heard. For this to be denied is a very serious matter and is, quite frankly, a safety concern. Do better instead of pointing fingers elsewhere. There was nothing wrong with the service, but I witnessed something during my visit that will keep me from returning to this establishment. I saw an older worker verbally abusing a much younger worker, which I found extremely unprofessional from the older gentleman and damaging to the company’s image. No employee should ever be treated that way—whether behind closed doors or in front of customers.

I would have had to sell my car if it wasn’t for First Class auto. I drive a 23 yr old Porsche Boxster that Carvana said is worth (to them) only $5000. I knew it needed new breaks and I reached out to several shops to get a quote for a front and rear break replacement. Everyone quoted $2500. There no way I would have paid half of what a car was worth just for breaks and I contemplating having to sell it. I gem like I was having to plan my car’s funeral too soon. Finally, I made one last attempt to reach out to First Class based on their awesome reviews. I’m thrilled to report they gave me a quote 60% less than all the others! I was able to keep my car! Hallelujah! And when I took the car in, they could have lied and said I needed both replaced but they were honest and said only the rear needed replacing. So they great rates and integrity. I want to shout from the mountain tops how great this family -owned business is! Thank you First Class auto!

Amazing experience. After going to pep boys for an oil change and leaving with problems that I didn’t have before, First Class Auto was able to tow my car, have the parts and fix what needed to be fixed for way less than what I was quoted at pep boys. They did what needed to be done last minute and everything has been great since. Definitely recommend and will be coming here from now on.
