Honesty IS the best policy! Took my car in for brakes service as I heard a squeak. They checked it out but told me it was good to go and lots of wear left in them. No need for service. Other shops would have tried to sell me something I didn't need just to make a sell. I'll be back when needed!

In my experience, this was the most disappointing Brakes Plus location. I always go to Brakes Plus but don't stick to a particular store. When I got my oil change they didn't replace my old mileage change sticker and just stuck the old one back on, and got oil on it so it smudged off the ink from the sticker. I also had low air pressure in my tires at that time to where my light for it came on, but they never filled my tires. They also didn't fill my windshield washer fluid. All other locations I've gone to they'll do the little things like that for me. 2 stars for friendly customer service, and it's still Brakes Plus. Just probably won't visit this location again.

Finally found an excellent honest, mechanical repair shop. I went to the big zero tire store on Hampton and Tower And was quoted over $1000 in repairs to get an alignment. I went to the Brakes plus on Iliff and Buckley and got my alignment done for $100. No parts were needed. I wanted a second opinion and got an honest result. I will use Brakes plus and refer them as much as I can. Thank you for the honesty of Brakes plus.

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at any auto repair shop — and I seriously regret going to this Brakes Plus location. I had a scheduled appointment, but I ended up waiting over two and a half hours after my appointment time just to get my car in. No updates, no apologies, nothing. The staff were completely unprofessional and acted like customers didn’t matter. When I asked about the delay, they either ignored me or gave vague, careless responses. The place was chaotic — no organization, no respect for appointment times. I saw people who arrived after me being helped before me for no clear reason. The prices were high, and on top of that, the work they did didn’t even make a difference. I honestly couldn’t tell if they fixed anything at all. The shop itself was dirty, and most of the employees were either on their phones or joking around with each other like they were on break, not at work. This place is a complete disaster. It’s like stepping into a horror movie called “Endless Waiting.” If you value your time, money, and sanity — stay far away from this location. What’s worse? I’m still sitting here waiting — and I’m literally the only customer left! This place is a complete disaster. If I could give this place a zero I would. I had my GMC Terrain towed to this Brakes Place at the end of December, a little before Christmas. I needed the cv axle replaced. I KNEW this was the issue. After I paid to have it towed over there they didn't even put it up on the bed to inspect the vehicle to be sure what's going on. Instead the mechanic named Darryl called me back and told me the car can't be driven. I told him yes! That's why I had it towed there. He told me the issue is the transmission. I asked him how he knows that if they haven't put the car up and inspected it? He told me he knows from his professional experience that the issue is the transmission. So I went back over there the next day and Darryl and another mechanic were still telling me it's the transmission without even having inspected it. I asked how would you know without looking at it. They said because of the sounds it's making and that it just happened to his car too so it has to be the transmission. So believing they know what they're talking about, I had it towed back to my home. Then I had it towed to a transmission shop. And wouldn't you know it! The transmission shop called me and said it's the cv axle not the transmission! I had the cv axle replaced by that transmission shop and my car runs fine now. It's so ridiculous that they didn't want to do their job and put the car in neutral and push it into and on a bed so they can properly inspect it. And because of this incompetence I lost additional time and money for unnecessary tows when it could've just been fixed there in the first place had they done their job. I had to end up getting it fixed on Christmas Eve when they could've done it right in the first place. Not to mention they lost money for this repair and a client because I will NEVER go back there. Totally incompetent team here. This isn't the first issue I've had with this place. They screwed up an oil change for my wife's car and didn't tighten up the cap on the bottom and oil was leaking in our garage. Don't waste your money here.

Phenomenal customer service! My brakes failed on my way to work this morning and Brakes Plus was able to take receive my car first thing this morning. In fact the staff was so kind that after I received the cost and how long they would need the vehicle, they ordered me an Uber home and offered to send me an Uber when the car is ready (I lived in the area).
