My experience is a long one. I've had the pleasure to enjoy Todd Brewer since he was born. Todd was always working on things as he has a good instinct. One story, Todd was walking in a ditch and found an old lawn mower. He brought it home a put it in the garage. He worked on the rusty old mower for hours. He came in the house and wanted to show me something. The old mower was sitting there and Todd said watch this. He pulled the cord and that mower started, rust and all. He took that mower apart and made gaskets out of cardboard. I am so proud of him and have the honor of being his father.

I have been to this location for several repairs. I got a recommendation from a co-worker who volunteers at one of the elementary schools. His prices are reasonable and he has been honest with me from day 1. He works on most anything with an engine and will even work on imports. I took my Jetta to him because I kept having the check engine light come. I took my Jetta to the VW dealership in Lincoln and they couldn't figure it out. They gave me different estimates from what their computers diagnosed. Then I took it to Olston's thinking they would be better. They did some repair work on a fuel line (which turned out to be unnecessary). The engine light still came on. I took it to Todd Brewer and found (within 10 minutes of me dropping off the car) that there was a vapor leak around the gas cap. All I needed was a new gas cap. He didn't need a fancy computer to tell him what was wrong. He has good mechanic instincts. I've also had him repair a computer chip for my electronic windows and replaced my clutch. His prices seem to be a good as the next guy. It's only a 2 man operation in the shop so don't expect something to be fixed the same day however, you should see your car the next day depending on parts being available.

It's like having a personal mechanic for your vehicle - and it's a small shop that stands by their work and can get you in on a timely basis. They already have a very good reputation - so they don't need me for that - but I need them for that. Also they know Suabaru's well - and they give away 18 eggs with timing belt replacements.

We have used Brewer Auto for at least 15 years. Todd is knowledgeable and trustworthy. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else. He may charge a little more bc he is a small locally owned business, however it is always done right and won't make up things wrong with your car to make more money.

I went to them when I was in town visiting family, my check engine light came on and traction control disabled. I did get the code checked and it came up with something questionable that I didn't have the tools to verify. Concerned with icy roads and a 1,500mi road trip with lots of remote stretches ahead of us, I decided to remove any doubts and have it looked at. They came highly recommended by a friend at another local business and he was spot on. Todd and Kathy were great! I told them my situation over the phone and they didn't hesitate to try and fit me in before our scheduled departure. They checked it out and thankfully after some very diligent checking and testing found the code had not duplicated we agreed it was likely frozen moisture due to the extreme cold. It has not since come back. Finding a reasonable, diligent and HONEST mechanic is rare. This shop is worth its weight in gold.

A few friends recommended this place, and for years I've been thanking all the higher powers that I found it. I am not knowledgeable about cars at all but I know with TLC my Subaru should last a long time. Todd has been nothing but completely honest about what it has needed and always patiently explains all my options and pros and cons--especially with something that could be on the pricier side--so I can make the best decision. I would be devastated if he closed shop so everyone go here! You won't regret it.

Been using Brewer's for years. Todd is fantastic, I have full faith in him and trust him completely. He's always been honest and I have always felt confident in the work he and his team do on my cars. Some have commented on prices, I do think prices when up some, I shopped around, when comparing mechanic's/shops I'd trust Brewer's prices are in the exact same ballpark. Go cheaper and you'll likely get what you pay for.

I brought my vehicle into Todd Brewer for brake noise. He was transparent and kept me updated on progress and was up front about everything. While my vehicle was on the hoist, no noticed tires were about worn so he brought to my attention. He does not do tires there so he wasn’t trying to get more money out of me but gave me a heads up. He had my vehicle repaired the same day after he got my approval for repairs. I found my mechanic!

She's a student at UNL, we live in Minnesota, trying to problem-solve from hundreds of miles away was stressful. I found Brewer's online, and from the first conversation with Ali, I felt at ease. The service was patient, empathetic, communicative, and genuinely helpful. They helped us figure out the best solution for her car at a fair price. I can't say enough about the customer service.
