Went in for rear brakes. Satisfied with work done and mechanic that worked on my car-Mohammed, I think was knowledgeable and professional. Gave this rating because I was given an "estimate" and the total price was more than twice the "estimate" in the end with no real explanation on why. Car is stopping and that is great-but I don't think I will be returning in the future.

Took my ‘13 Prius in for spark plugs to be changed. Ricky had quoted me a price, but when it came time to actually changing them, he had said that the original plugs he had weren’t the right ones and that the right ones were going to cost a little more. I said that’s fine. In the end, he was great and cut me a little discount since he had quoted me a different price than what the correct plugs were. I didn’t mind, as he had said he was sorry and didn’t realize mine took different ones. 👍🏼👍🏼

I was stranded this last weekend in the middle of a drive from Illinois to Colorado with a smoking engine. I called five or six mechanics, but they all understandably were trying to close and couldn't take me on short notice, except for Rick. Rick looked at the car, immediately identified the underlying mechanical issue, and told me about a partial fix (new valve cover gasket) that could get the car running again without making the smoke I was worried about. He was very clear and realistic about expectations for the fix, and gave a thoughtful and honest prediction about my chances of finishing the eight-hour drive with the new gasket. A very kind technician agreed to come in from home to replace the part, Rick went to the store to pick it up, they did the fix, and had me on the road again within an hour or so. Rick's prediction turned out to be exactly right. It was close but I made it. I feel very fortunate to have found this place. Highly highly recommend.

I was happy to find Sooner Automotive through a friend of mine who highly recommended them. I had paid someone to replace my brakes and never worked right. I took it to Sooners and they fixed me up. Previous repairman had installed the brakes wrong. Ricky got me on the the road and back to being able to trust my truck! He has been my go to shop every since then. He has always been fair and honest and stands by his work!

This was my first experience with Sooner Automotive, definitely not my last. Window switch and regulator, plus some unknown hidden wiring issues were found and fixed. I was very happy with communication from the staff providing updates on parts that were hard to get as well as progress on the job. Had a good experience with Sooner Automotive. Followed their reviews on Facebook for a while and when my starter and battery went bad, I took it over there. I had it towed there. They got me in and got me out and gave me a pre-phone call before they did anything. Superb service and follow up. Thank you, Sooner Automotive. I’m sure I’ll be by again since you’re nearby. I would recommend them based off of my first time experience with them. I think I know what I’m talking about because I was in the car business for 34 years. Keep up the good work and kudos to Rick and his lead mechanic who greeted me and took care of me.

Only thing wrong with the place is the owner is an Oklahoma fan! This is the third time they helped me out of a pickle. Fixed my steering, my brakes and when I had a big coolant leak as well as a few other minor repairs. Every time they were quick and came back to me with very reasonable prices. Staff was nice and honest, not trying to over sell like the dealership does. Next time I have vehicle troubles or need a service I’ll be right back there. Highly recommended!

We came to Ricky after having a run in with a raccoon. He was quick to get us a tow (coming from out of town) and get working. When it was discovered that we had more damage than initially anticipated, he worked with us to get the problem solved quickly and made it affordable for us. i spent a week without my car waiting for my usual guy and the usual cheap price. yet he ended up ghosting me. So beyond upset at 3:30 on a monday i called Sooner with quite a lot of work. And his guys had my car in the shop 45 min later and at a very reasonable price. They even called and warned me of a catastrophic failure in my wheel barring. I gladly let them do it and they probably saved my life! Great tecs, amazing owner, and most importantly this is a real mechanic shop! Go here!!!

Listen yall! We went to Jensen tire and auto and they quoted us almost 5 k for some simple things. There is no way we could afford 5 k in repairs right now. My husband called Sooner and talked to Ricky and he said bring your vehicle here and we will take care of you. I figured it was a “temu” special. But I was wrong! Ricky did not disappoint!!!! We got new tires, and we he majority of repairs done on our vehicle for less than half of what Jensen was trying to charge us! Ricky and his crew did a great job! Finding a honest shop that isn’t going to screw the “working man” over with outrageous prices is tough! However not anymore! He definitely earned our business we will be back! Thanks Ricky!
