My BMW has been a problem child since the day I bought it. I have tried going through dealership and other mechanics and the services done to vehicle has been ok at best, sketchy and near criminal at worst. These guys are seriously the best. He must have given me 30 minutes of his time a week before i came in for my first appointment. So, I am impressed with the service so far in that regard. More to follow once I have more experience. They are really kind and communicative. I appreciate their quoting and documentation system. They aren't expensive, but they aren't cheap - they charge a reasonable price for quality work. They will level with you and help you make decisions depending on your goals with your vehicle. I trust them to advise, at least far as I could throw them. More than you can say about a lot of shops. I been down to my bottom dollar paying for stuff I don't need on a niche vehicle because I don't have any other option before, and that's not what's happening here. Some others take advantage of the opportunity to do a little extra work here and there, or do less work and make more money by replacing "the whole thing" instead of a small component of a part that takes more time but costs less, and I don't get the impression they're out to take advantage of anyone or they are lazy. They are thorough as you want them to be and put things in terms you can understand, meeting you where you are at. Overall, glad I chose them. Here's to hoping we retain each others' trust, because I will be back! Shoutout JT and the rest of the nice dudes around there.

Long-Time Customer Perspective I have been a loyal customer of this auto repair shop for several years. Throughout that time, I consistently received great service—work was reliable, the staff communicated clearly, and I always felt my vehicle was in good hands. Change in Ownership In the spring of 2024, the business changed ownership. I was initially reassured that the quality and professionalism would remain, and for a while, that was absolutely the case. The technicians continued to do good work, and the customer service still met my expectations. Recent Concerns However, in recent months, my experience has changed dramatically: • A simple service—a front-end alignment—couldn’t be completed. After spending half a workday at the shop with no results, I had to go elsewhere and spend another half day just to get the job done. • I have been unable to reach anyone by phone, despite trying at different times of day. • My voicemails and messages have gone unanswered. • Emails sent to the shop have not received any response. • It has become nearly impossible to schedule service or get updates. Overall Impression While my history with this shop was very positive, the lack of communication and responsiveness under the current management is deeply disappointing. I hope these issues are addressed soon, as this business was once a standout in the neighborhood. Recommendation If you are considering this shop, be aware that reaching someone may be challenging at present. I hope the new owners will restore the reliable service and communication that made this shop so trusted for so many years. Final Thoughts Fortunately for me, Lincoln has quality alternatives to European Auto Repair, and I have found a shop that answers the phone, makes appointments, and provides quality service. I do not expect I will return to European Auto Repair; they have lost business by being bad at business.
