Browns consistently exceeds my expectations by doing right by the customer in a more than reasonable amount of time! My family has been going to here for at least as long as I’ve been driving. They are extremely hard working and trustworthy people. I recently had a horrible experience with a chain mechanic because I was stranded 45 miles from my favorite shop. Lesson learned! I will never go anywhere but Browns!

My dad has been using Brown's Automotive for probably 30 years to maintain the family fleet. Now that I have my own vehicles to maintain theres no one else in town I'll use or recommend. They do honest, quality work at a very fair price. Jimmy Brown took it over from his dad years ago. He's there everyday and he will answer the phone when you call. If you need auto repair, call Brown's. You will be glad you did.

I have a 2014 Accord push button start which developed a no crank issue. I talked with Jimmy and he gave me a price for repair and said they could get to it. I had the car dropped off at the shop at @ 2:00 PM. At 3:30 that same day I got a call saying the car was ready. Wow--that was stunning! The car was fixed at the price quoted and has worked flawlessly ever since. Thanks Brown's Auto!!!

I called Brown's with a suspected alternator problem. They quickly gave me an appointment and an estimate over the phone. Brown's fixed alternator in allotted time and found small crack in my Toyota truck radiator (250,000 miles with original radiator!). Owner Jimmy is super nice and gives honest estimates- no pressure sales tactics. I'll definitely return for radiator replacement.

Lazy. Called for a quote on getting a mirror replaced. Expected them to atleast price the part and give me a quote.. guy on the phone said go buy the part and I'll charge x per hour.. he says because the vehicle is a 2023 only the dealer will have the parts.. Had he not been lazy and did a 5 second google search he would have seen that the part we need is the same for 2019-2023 models so he could have easily priced the part and given me a quote but chose to be lazy. Embarrassing. Priving parts is part of running an auto repair place. If they're this lazy with a quote imagine how lazy their work quality is.

Brown is a liar and I caught him. After installing a new radiator because of automatic transmission fluid leaking into the system , i went and picked it up. Checking under the hood I saw that the antifreeze reserve container had the red automatic transmission fluid still mixed in the reserve bottle. I Ask him if he flushed out the system to get all of the automatic transmission fluid out of the cooling system and replaced the antifreeze and he said “ yes he did and there’s nothing you could do about the ATM residue”. I went directly to O’Reillys and asked them about the ATM residue in my cooling system And they told me it should have been thoroughly flushed out because if you didn’t, the ATM fluid would corrupt the Cooling system. They gave me a bottle of Cooling system flush and Sent me on my way. I took my truck back to Brown and gave him the flush to clean out the cooling system for me which he did and eliminated all of the ATM fluid. He realized that I did not buy his story. He had repaired the cooling system and filled it with water, but he did not flush the system out or put back the antifreeze. How embarrassing!! A year after the new radiator and water pump were installed, the new radiator failed and I took it back to Brown and he said my one year parts warranty was expired but he would try to get me a little discount off a new one. I ask if he was putting China made parts on my truck and he said yes but if I wanted better I could go to ORileys auto parts myself and buy my oem parts and bring them to him so he could put them on. Really? Lazy ,unprofessional , with a attitude. I see now why his prices are cheaper than others and warranty’s are crap.

Took my car to Brown’s today, and within two hours it was ready to go. I’ve lived in Pearland for about eight years and have taken my car to him three times now. Every single time, he’s been honest, kind, and genuinely helpful. I’ve always meant to leave a review, but somehow it kept slipping my mind, not today! I never question where to take my car because the trust I have in Brown’s is unmatched. It’s rare to find that kind of reliability and care these days. 10/10. I feel my 77yo mother was taken advantage of with her 2012 Toyota Camry. $600+ later mom had one new key cut (w/o keyless entry) and one fwd motor mount bolt added that was missing. After calling the dealer it would have been $200 plus one hour labor so guessing no more that 1/2 that at about $300.
