Reply to owner: besides you I’ve only rated 1 other garage and I gave them 5 stars. You claim to be a Christian garage but, your reply clearly shows you’re the bully here. Took my car in, was quoted a crazy price. Called to ask about some of the items listed and was met with resistance. I told them I can’t afford the price and said I’d have to take it elsewhere (it’s an inspection) After a little back and fourth the owner says “you’ve left a bad review in the past maybe you shouldn’t have come here” Soooo I guess they quoted me super high and treated me bad because my boyfriend in the past left a negative review. Long story short I just paid the $70 to fail the inspection and I’ll take it to someone else. I had a feeling giving them a second chance was illogical. Clearly it was. The quote speaks for itself.. If they were going to price gauge and be rude because of the past review just refuse service.. why waste my time and his own?

This is a very unprofessional and inexperienced garage. Brian the owner has no business working on other people's cars. He is not a trained mechanic or a mechanic period. Think twice before taking your car here. It was 4 years and I don't have grudge just want people to be aware where they take there cars and you shop is unqualified in many ways. You lost your only good mechanics you had because of your inexperienced ways you baby temper tantrums.

I recently went to browns for my inspection, which resulted in 2 new tires, brakes and rotors. They got my in fast for the appointment. A few weeks after I noticed the brake pumping. I made an appointment that ended up needing to be rescheduled a few times due to circumstances with my family. The team at Brown's moved the appointment twice without issue, and had the problem resolved less than a work day later, at no charge to me, due to using the warranty. I will definitely be back!

Our car broke down on our way to Buffalo from Ann Arbor MI. We called AAA. The driver recommended Browns service. He dropped us off at a hotel at 1:30 AM!!! And took the car to Browns. We called when they opened to let them know about the car that was sitting in the lot. They told us they were super busy for the next couple weeks!!!! After hearing about our situation they took at look at it and was able to get us back on the road super quick!!!! It is awesome to know we have great people in the world and they work/own Browns Automotive Service Center!!

UPDATE: The other mechanic we went to confirmed it did not need front brakes or ball joints - which they said we needed. His bill went from over 2600 to less than $1000! Extremely disappointed in this shop. I believe whole heartedly that they are trying to take advantage of my 16 year old son. They quoted him almost 2700 of work to pass inspection - including brakes all around even though the front brakes were replaced less than a year and 1000 miles ago. We are taking it to a reputable mechanic to get a second opinion and I will update on the rest of the work they said needed to be done. Beware - do not go here

I have had two negative experiences with browns. The first time was when I had them install new tires on my truck. They couldn’t balance them properly and all of a sudden my tire pressure sensor would no longer work. I took it back, they claimed to fix it. Well, they didn’t. They also messed my alignment up. It may be aligned but my steering wheel is crooked. I took it to another garage who said they used old weights and it’s was off quite a bit. They fixed it along with the two other issues. Fast forward. I took it to browns for inspection to give them another shot. Well, they failed my inspection for bad lower ball joints. I did them myself the previous year and put greaseable ones in. The tech who called me said they weren’t. So I took it to the dealer because I wanted a honest reputable mechanic to look at it. Lo and behold it passed. No issues with ball joints. Please be aware of you plan to take your car to this mechanic . They used to be great but I will never be returning.

Call these guys first, not AAA. These folks are great. Towed me in, fixed my starter and inspected my car in two hours on a Friday afternoon. Reasonably priced. Great customer service (provided me a ride to pick up my car.) Easiest car repair I have ever had. 10/10 would recommend.
