Mr. Brown is a stand up guy. Had my clutch and pressure plate replaced at his shop. The pressure plate had fork alignment issues. Rattling the transmission like a dog's tail. Took the old plate back and he covered everything! Thank you!

I took my Chevy van into Browns Transmissions and he gave me a price, when I went to get my van he gave me another price a LOWER price and the workmanship has held up for two plus years. Now my second van is making noise from the transmission so I had it towed to Browns about two hours ago. I know his price will be right and the work done right. If not then I'll be back to edit this :)

I would press the tenth star if there was one ! He is a wonderful human being. I known him and are friends for 42 years now. If I had never met him ever before ! I'd still know instantly that he is honest and smart ! He has figured out many solutions to minor problems that would have cost a customer buku bucks ! Just a smart man with a great personality. Now I don't know if he is high priced or not, it just wouldn't matter ! Quality work on a delicate and important part of any vehicle is well worth it. But like I said, he will help if there's a way to do it cheap or simple , then it's done ! I will never go anyplace else untill I'm forced to. Honesty and quality are what I need and want. Trust me, he's the best.

If you're looking for an honest person, talk to Kenny and get your transmission or clutch stuff done there. He serviced my PT and it worked great. Another time, he checked another car of mine and didn't charge me any money, since it didn't feel right to take money from me. I can highly recommend Brown's Transmission Repair!

The transmission shop has been there for many many years and the owner Kenny Brown I know is transmission's inside and out. They don't do complete rebuilding at this point they just use a rebuilt transmission from a company that can guarantee it for a long period of time as far as maintenance he's reasonable and very very fast and good

Came in because I thought my transmission was failing due to grinding noises, Mr. Brown and his team pointed me in the right direction of a damaged wheel bearing instead, with no charge for the diagnosis. I drove 90 miles to have Brown's transmission repair the transmission on my K3500 4x4. That was 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier today. We have been on multiple long trips and my truck has performed perfectly. I also took my Saturn ion for a service last year. I highly recommend this business for the personal touch and very reasonable rates. A 6 star business!

STAY AWAY!! Took my boyfriend’s truck here to have the clutch system bled, as we had introduced air into the system from letting the fluid go low and we had no pedal. The owner Kenny called me saying that fluid was pouring out of the bell housing and that it needed a master cylinder and a clutch and a slave cylinder and it was going to cost me $1500-$2000. I called BS on the guy, showed up, and there was absolutely no fluid leaking out of the bell housing as pictured below. I told Kenny that it doesn’t look like there was any fluid leaking out whatsoever and asked him to show me where it was leaking. He called his tech over and then the tech goes “No, there’s no fluid leaking out of it!” And Kenny pretended like there was just miscommunication. I had an uneasy feeling about the whole situation so I called my boyfriend and told him what was going on and he said he would call Kenny and straighten things out. Anyways, my boyfriend calls Kenny and asks him if they bled the system — they did not. So the original service requested was not even done. Kenny said he would bleed it and charge him $100 regardless of whether it fixes the issue or not. So we said okay. I call back 2 days later since we hadn’t heard from him and he said that he thought we were going to pick up the truck. We said “no we were under the impression that you were going to bleed it.” He then yelled at me and said no and that doing that service would be a waste of his time and that it needs all the work he recommended. To wrap up this whole story, we ended up towing it to ABC AUTO CARE in Ventura and told ANDREW the whole story. From start to finish this shop was everything I wished that Brown’s transmission was. Good communication, and great customer service. ABC AUTO CARE bled the system, and now the truck runs great! I would highly recommend them over this shady place. Good thing I actually know about cars and didn’t take his obscene repair recommendation, because if I did I would have spent money I didn’t need to spend. $120 and the truck runs great. Unless you want to get reamed take your vehicle elsewhere!!!
